The team are absolutely wonderful. They provide a 6 star service and make you feel so at home. Every team member we came across was just wonderful. In particular, Maria, Despina and George went out of their way to make us feel welcome and genuinely part of their family during our stay. It was so unexpected and made us feel so relaxed and cared for, considering it was our first ever holiday as a family, with our 6 month old. Our room was perfect for our needs, having a little one, we had the space to relax and separate at bedtime. The pool facilities were wonderful too. Piano man on the evenings was a lovely touch too. Location was excellent for Old Town and not too far a walk to the local beaches. We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.

The staff and service provided at the samaria hotel were exceptional. The room was very clean and breakfast was delicious. Loved how close this hotel was to the old harbour we walked down every night.

Lovely modern decor, superb breakfasts, friendly & helpful staff. The hotel was not too large, had a beautiful swimming pool & was conveniently situated, close to the old town & port. Being close to the bus station was a bonus & as the hotel had such good soundproofing, no noise was experienced from it.
Maybe the bed was a little too soft for our liking & the views from our verandah were not scenic but if you want a good location, you cannot have it all!

Samaria is a wonderful Hotel!!! Based in the heart of the town just next to the beautiful old town full of action and interests. The staff is amazing, so kind, always available and eager to help. (Thank you Maria and all the staff 🙏❤️). The room is beautiful, very tasteful and comfortable. Breakfast is wonderful full of variety. The pool is great, lovely and quiet. Everywhere in the property was always clean and smelled lovely. Had a wonderful time and will be happy to return.

Clean room, friendly staff, conveniently located by the central bus station; 20 minute walk to the beach, 10 minute walk to Venetian port, many great restaurants nearby; delicious breakfast and beautiful pool
one small thing: most hotels in Greece have Netflix, which is great when you have kids, but this hotel didn't, which is surprising considering its other amenities; hopefully the management will upgrade their cable soon.
