Novotel New Delhi Aerocity- International Airport

The hotel has nice vibes. The staff is excellent, and they all gave us a feeling of welcome and took care of our needs. The food that was offered for dinner was of very high quality with endless variety. Also, the cafe place downstairs has an amazing coffee and lovely places to seat for meetings. The room was nice and clean and comfortable. Essential amenities are provided and more. Even with the disadvantages overall, I recommend the hotel.

Two main things were a problem: 1. Though the food was very good it was also very expensive, not just by Indian standards. I am coming from Denmark and the food cost at the hotel is almost the same. There was no other possibility for lower-priced food. 2. It was almost impossible to catch reception by phone (from the room). Every time I needed something I needed eventually to do down to the reception. 3. If you are counting on the pool - note that the pool is small and used also for private events.

I particularly appreciated the help from the hotel gift shop staff, from serval members of staff (sorry I cannot remember their names) with providing some post cards, (purchased), and one member of staff who posted a card to my dissabled brother on my behalf since I did not have time to visit the local post office. I can confirm the post card has been received by brother. The variety & quality of food available in self service dinning & breakfast area was execellent, the staff were helpful and on hand if service was need.

I was a little confused by lift, but once I understood the system & the need to present ones room card to the lift sensor it as fine.

The hotel was close to the airport so was very convenient. The service was great and the staff was polite and helpful. The room was clean and nicely designed. I liked the spa very much. Specifically, the hairdresser was fantastic. At breakfast, Rishabhi the friendly waiter, brought me different types of foods to taste and enjoy. The security of the bags and the taxi that brought me from the airport was thorough and gave me a safe feeling.

Ordering a taxi through the hotel was ridiculously more expensive than the cost outside (6 times the rate of a formal taxi from the stand at the airport). Very soon after reserving the hotel, I started getting emails pushing me to take this expensive transportation. I also had the feeling that I was expected to tip everybody all the time. But this is my first time in India so maybe this is customary.

Novotel Hotel in New Delhi, Aerocity, impressed me with its excellent location, cleanliness, and attentive staff. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, catering to different preferences and dietary needs. Additionally, the hotel's amenities, such as the fitness center and swimming pool, added value to my overall experience.

One aspect that I found less satisfactory was the pricing. The room rates at Novotel Hotel in New Delhi, Aerocity, were on the higher side compared to similar accommodations in the area. While the hotel provided a comfortable stay, I felt that the price could have been more competitive. Additionally, the size of the room was a bit smaller than I anticipated, especially considering the price point. Although it was well-appointed and had all the necessary amenities, a more spacious room would have enhanced my comfort during the stay.

Firstly the staff is great! Right from the airport pickup where Amjad Ali received us and made our arrival so much easier. It was nice to be greeted by a cheerful person at the airport esp after meeting the smug immigration officials who probably won’t smile even at gun point. The check-in was smooth. Next day I was to go to Jaipur for a day and wanted to store my extra luggage which the hotel handled professionally. Ravi, if I am not wrong, a speech impaired person helped us with that. The rooms are as described, clean and good quality amenities. The reception staff was great too. Breakfast was a grand spread and the staff well trained in the restaurant.

Non smoking room was only available in twin-bed option and not a double bed at least on that particular day.

As mentioned in my previous review and the reasons I keep on returning to this property is best value for money compared to any other hotel in aero city,a cluster of hotels including international chain of hotels located 10-15 mins from New Delhi domestic and international terminal. Novotel in my opinion offers everything that other hotels do ,but at best best price as I have had stays in other hotels of aero city as well . Also the staff is very polite,smiling and helpful. Foods of different ethnicity are available especially the variety and taste of Indian food is great. The rooms are quite comfortable beds to sleep in . Transfer to airport is also offered on payment mostly unless may be part of booking package. I plan a return to delhi in 2 days and will stay again with them.

I have always experienced that if I book a taxi to airport from hotel it’s never there waiting even if called the reception night before,I suggest to go down to reception 15 mins before you asked for taxi ,especially if you have flight prior to 7 am to catch to avoid any haste getting to airport.

While my stay at Novotel Hotel in New Delhi, Aerocity was enjoyable, there were a few areas that fell short. The pricing of the room rates was slightly higher compared to similar accommodations in the area, which could have been more competitive. Additionally, I found the size of the room to be slightly smaller than expected given the price point. Although the room was well-appointed and equipped with all necessary amenities, a more spacious room would have enhanced my comfort during the stay.

Well we enjoyed the spacious clean well spoken well mannered staff. Except one lady who was on call with us for not helping with providing the room we wanted but some ground manager Sakshi helped us over the phone to get the room we wanted. But the lady before her on call with us was rude and disrespectful. She needs to learn to speak with customers even though we do NOT know her name. She needs to learn some manners and know how to speak to guests if you cater so well on international level.

The place was nicely designed and welcoming. Staff were super attentive. The rooms were nice, clean, air conditioned and had all the amenities in the room and bathroom. The restaurant for breakfast had an impressive buffet of both Western and Indian food. The dinner at the Pan Asian restaurant Honk was amazing. The pool was nice.

Very little. The only confusing piece is that the sister hotel The Palmer is connected and much more lavish— so the pool, spa, restaurants are all actually belonging to the Palmer so one can’t charge to the room.
