Dinn Rí Hotel

Great staff, great atmosphere, great food, comfortable room (although it was small) & very central.

This isn't really a complaint, we found everything great but found the price a little steep for what you get. Room was small & no breakfast included, cost- €264 for x2 people x2 nights. Luckily we got €150 off the room as a Christmas present so we were delighted. We will still be back but we think a fair price for x2 nights x2 people (without breakfast & in the same room) would be €180. Other than that, keep up the good work and we did really enjoy our stay 😊

Good clean room. Comfortable. All facilities that I could need. Also good bar food available. friendly reception and waiting staff.

I didn’t have breakfast because it didn’t start until 8:30 but I needed to leave before 8 for work. This is a late start for breakfast.

The atmosphere around the hotel was great really enjoyed our evening.The staff were amazing from checking In to bar service and breakfast service.The location is in a great place to a little bit of shopping also.The room was very nice bed was slightly uncomfortable but nothing major was great for the price we paid.I would recommend to family and friends.

I can't fault any part of our stay everyone was so nice and its a fantastic hotel.Is clean and tidy everywhere.

Getting back to the hotel late and not realising I had to call a number on the door to gain access. My phone was dead and I ended up knocking and tapping on windows to get someone’s attention. I did feel a little worried about what to do if I wasn’t successful in getting the attention of the night security

Super friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfasts. Central location. Clean and comfortable room. Small but sufficient with good writing area Tea and coffee maker in room. Good toilet facilities (no brush!)

Noise of disco on Wednesday and Saturday night ( informed with short notice prior to arrival). No curtains in room window. Few TV channels to choose from.

The hotel is on the main pedestrian touristic street. Nice spacious room, everything is clean and fine. Very big portion of porridge for breakfast.

After you book, they send you a warning that it might be loud. Thanks for informing. Indeed, it was. Even when you can't hear it when you enter the room, it will be not so easy to sleep, because the walls are shivering from the music in the basement. In case you don't eat bacon, breakfast choices are quite poor.

I liked the location of the hotel, it was close to where I needed to be. The staff were extremely friendly & nice. the room was a little stuffy & could’ve used a fan as there is no air-conditioning. the room was clean & nicely set up.

The heat from the sun made the room hot. even with the windows both open, it needs a fan & a tinted window because it catches the sun most of the day.

i liked the 2 beds in the room. i liked how large is was

i would have liked shower gel to be available in the bathroom with the shampoo and conditioner. i didn’t like the heating as in the radiator it was freezing in the room at night and like a sauna in the morning. Having a more larger sign available for guests to be aware to turn on the heating earlier would have been useful. i also don’t like the colour of the access card its incredibly easy to lose as its so thin, a better colour and carrier case would be great.

Comfortable rooms, low price, centrally located in Carlow. Car park adjacent to hotel was reasonably enough priced for our timings, though if parked all day I'd consider another car park. Staff were all nice and helpful. Food was good.

Just a minor gripe..No iron in the room, though not that unusual these days and at these prices. Iron & board provided from reception wasn't really up to the job. Otherwise zero complaint about the stay.

The hotel and the location were great for our group of 10, visiting and performing at the Pan Celtic Festival. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful at all times. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent. We would definitely choose to stay at the Dinn Ri Hotel if we return to Carlow.
