CDH My One Hotel Bologna

This hotel met my expectations, staff is helpful and overall service is great. During our stay (7 nights) room was cleaned on daily basis, bathroom is spacious and it was also cleaned regularly. Reception works 24h. Bed and pillows were ok for us. Even its not in city center this location has good connection with public transport, and as its near the airport taxi is not expensive.

Hotel is located near busy street, our room was facing the street so we could hear the noise (low), also we were able to overcome this by using soft earplugs (which we always take with us when we travel).

Everything was good: breakfast, room, cleanliness, staff and facilities. No noise near the hotel too. The hotel is a bit far from the city center and bus is the major public transportation means close by which is not always on time. However, it's easy to get the bus and there are also restaurants and markets close to the hotel (if needed), so it's fine too.

Air conditioning was not working. Staff said the temperature was good outside and they usually switch off the air conditioning and recommend people to open the windows. I agree the temperature was good (mid spring) and we mostly enjoyed the room temperature by opening the windows, so it's a very small issue. However, I'd like to have the choice of turning on the air conditioning or not. For example, it may be useful to close the windows to also close the blinders in order to avoid the sunlight early in the morning or any sort of noise (there was none by the way).

Room was nice and clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and the coffee was good. Bar prices were decent too. Complimentary bottles of water in the minibar were highly appreciated. There's a McDonald's right next to the hotel if you need a quick bite, there's an excellent restaurant around the corner, and a supermarket within a short walk.

The room got very warm and the a/c couldn't be set to cool (central heating still on maybe?). Every time I came back to the room, it felt like the heating had been left on. I tried to open the window to let a bit of cool breeze in but the window was too big and heavy and kept swinging shut. If I had stayed longer, I would have raised it with the hotel staff.

I love the cleanness of the room and the eficience of the staff. Also I feel that the price is exactly what I payed for. We arrived before check in and they had no issue looking for a room for us at that moment, also check out is really fast.

it was a little hard to understand how lights worked and at first no one explained that until I asked. also the door didn't locked inmediatelly when I closed it to leave the room and that made me worry a little, but it was because of the same problem that I just didn't get how it worked.

The hotel is very close to Bologna airport, the room was clean and the hotel stuff was nice and polite. We also had breakfast at the hotel and everything was fresh and tasty. Thank you!

It's a little bit noisy because the hotel is close to the street and you can hear the cars all the time, but isn't something that can be controlled by the hotel stuff. During our stay, the guests were dragging their luggage on the the floor and made a lot of noise at 3-4 am. If you are lucky and you'll have quiet neighbours, you will have a nice stay at this hotel.

everything was very good. clean and spacious room, good breakfast, kind staff

air conditioning was not working in the rooms (probably due to energy restrictions) but it was very high in the reception and breakfast room. the washing basing is placed so close to the water closed that you can hardly stay sit on it. the wc is also placed very high, I am not a short person (1.65) but I couldn’t touch the floor with my feet. very uncomfortable.

The staff at this hotel,are fantastic! They are very helpful and accommodating! They arranged for an early morning taxi for us and opened their bar restaurant area off hours to accommodate us. We arrived early before check in and they worked quickly and efficiently to get us into our room early!

The beds could be more comfortable. They are very firm! There was a stain on one of the walls that looked like something had spilled on it. They should paint over this. Would be an easy solution.

Great location, bus stop 5 minutes walk, bus to the city center. Wonderful breakfast, great selection. The staff was nice, solved the problem with heating the room in one minute. Everything was just wonderful.

Nothing to complain about.

Breakfast was very good, lots of pastry choices, large buffet, even scrambled eggs and bacon which is unusual for a european breakfast. Awesome coffee made to order, great service . Rooms are small but adequate, clean and bed was very comfortable for Italy. Nice little bar at reception. Great location near airport.
