Good location near the train station and 15 minutes waliking from the old center. The stuff is very helpful. The breakfast was realy good. The room was quiet (facing the rear of the building).

Things we liked less and which require improvement in our view: Inscription on the wall in Arabic above our heads (A kind of cultural coercion on a controversial issue). No kettle in the room. No Air conditioning in the room (Only on warm mode - without cold option). The pillows are hard and uncomfortable. Hard and noisy blanket cover like a tarpaulin in every movement. As we left for the airport at 04:30, and we paid for the breakfast we couldn't stay for, we thing it was nice to offer the guests a sandwich and coffee to take away (we had it in other hotels) .

It was our second stay in that hotel, great location, breakfast ok, very nice personel. There was a problem with air-conditioning in our room so we were given the room of better standard. It was very nice. Room cleaned every day.

Despite change of the room because of poor air-condition it was very hot anyway. I think it might be because of warm weather in Italy - probably air-conditioning is not turned on during winter. As we are from Poland we are used to cold 😆

The hotel is located next to the Bologna centrale with access to the airport train and also if you plan to travel to nearby cities. On the right to the hotel building ( main entrance behind), you can take the street Piazza XX Settembre and walk straight to the old town area where all the main attractions of Bologna are. Breakfast is great with lots of choices of pastry, continental breakfast, fresh fruits even with Parmigiano cheese and mortadella among other cheese and hams as well as fresh and grilled vegetables. You are also served with expresso coffee and cappuccino if you ask the waiters - sth very rare in hotels which usually charge extra for this kind of service. We asked to leave our luggage at the reception as our flight was late in the evening and we were served quite pleasantly. The room was quite good and spacious for what you usually get in Italy. WIFI free and it worked quite well for the time we used it. I would highly recommend it.

We had 2 rooms. One of the rooms was upgraded which was amazing, super spacious, loads of facilities, comfortable beds and even had an extra room with a desk, exercise bike. Bathroom was super modern. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Good location lots of shops and food places around and right across from the train station and taxi ranks for easy access to the airport

When checking in our rooms were not ready at the times we were told by the hotel. This led to our second room being changed and when we arrived there was a maintaince man in the room not expecting anyone to be there as he was changing lightbulbs etc and this room was quite small. Despite this the Staff were apologetic and did their best to help us.

Hotel was just across the train station, easy to get to. Plenty of restaurants around. Front desk staff always cheerful. Housekeeping was efficient (Sharlene on our floor was very accommodating). Breakfast selection was good. Breakfast staff was good - they were quick to bring your request, and clean up after.

The half-door style shower door. Water splashes all over - outside the bathtub, so the bathmat and floor end up soaking wet. The saving grace though is the thick bath mat.

The staff at the reception was really friendly, give us information about the city (map, restaurants…). Check in was smooth and we could check out at 1 pm instead of 12. I booked, it was my mistake, a twin bed room and when I request a double bed upon check in, the receptionist gave us a free upgrade to a Superior room double bed. Really nice and highly appreciate. The room was spacious, clean and had everything needed for a good stay. Breakfast has a lot of options and was good. Location opposite the train station and 20 min walk to the center by the main shopping street was ideal.

The staff were very friendly, professional and accommodating. The large double bed was one of the most comfortable. Breakfast buffet had a wide range and was very tasty. Perfect location opposite the railway station so we could explore local nearby towns. Despite this, the room was very quiet.

It was a little further to Piazza Maggiore than we would have liked, but only because we went there more often than anticipated when planning our visit.

This is a very comfortable hotel. It’s about two minutes from the station and about 15 mins walk from the centre of town. The walk is easy and flat and undercover- did someone mention porticos! Bologna has kilometres of them. In the evening we walked about 10 minutes to loads of great restaurants plus there are some good ones close by too. The hotel staff were extremely helpful with what to see and where to eat - highly recommend you ask for the local tips.

Nothing but the location may not suit those who wish to be closer to town.

Receptionist, lady who checked us in gave us a map, recommendation for 2 restaurants, the one we chose was great and authentic. Also recommended that we visit San Stefano church which was free and better than many cathedrals. Room clean, and comfortable bed. Super TV for watching tennis. Breakfast, good choice and friendly staff. Room upgrade was great. Though I do not comprehend how hotels allocate rooms or upgrade. Room very big compared to that in Venice.

Tech in the room. Too complicated, too many buttons and sockets. Just want to go in room and be able to turn lights and heating on and off without having to figure things out. Jacuzzi would have been good if it had not flooded floor. Only drama we have had in 20 nights away.

I can only find positive points about our first stay! My husband and I had a free upgrade to their largest room, which, in reality, was a small flat with a dining room, a bathroom with jacuzzi, a bedroom with a gigantic double bed, all surrounded by a very tasteful and modern decor. Their breakfast is one other highlight, featuring deliciuosly crispy croissants and a lot more! Last but not least, the location could not be better, just a few steps away from the train station and a short walk from the historic centre!

Our second stay was not as jaw-dropping! Our room was like any other regular hotel room facing the unattractive back of the building, full of trash dumpsters and pipes. This is no reason, however, for me not to recommend this hotel or come back for another stay!
