Walking distances to amazing local restaurants and major historical sites (city hall, uffizi gallery, Ponte Vacchio bridge, and Medici mansion). A quiet accommodation despite being so centrally located. The room was beautifully decorated (pictures do not do it justice), and there were amazing freshly made hot breakfast everyday. The best part about this bnb are the host and hostess who run it. They are the kindest people who went above and beyond for guests, and treated us like their family. My partner and I did not buy a local SIM card (a hug mistake, by the way) and left important documents at the bnb when we checked out. The hostess promptly contact us via messaging, and host looked for us in a sea of people at the Florence train station (why having a local SIM card was important). They saved our very first trip to Italy. We cannot thank them enough. If you are thinking about booking, don't hesitate!

Sharon the owner was friendly, helpful, she offered bottles of water, I missed breakfast once as I was tired and she ensured I was okay. lovely breakfast spread, once I wanted English breakfast tea, and she got them for me as the teabags weren’t at breakfast. the location is perfect, very safe, love the fact it has a lift, a big room, very clean, air con, great price, Fridge in room, easy walking distance to all sights and bus to airport/train station.

nothing, although at night it can get noisy if you leave the window open so I advised to keep it close and use the aircon.

The hotel was easy to find as I took a taxi…I did not get the check in instructions but called and got all the information I needed to check in.the room was lovely, but comfortable with nice bedding and furnishings. The breakfast was nice, the typical continental breakfast. The location was perfect as it was far enough away from the rivers of tourists but still near most everything. Sharon, who manages the B&B was very helpful.

The kettle would only plug into one plug and it could only sit on the floor, and there was no sugar for the tea. Check in information should have been sent the day before.

The propriety it tastefully decorate, in true Tuscan style full of quirky touches mixed with wooden furniture and Persian rugs Bed is extra comfy the owner and her staff are really nice. They are dog friendly which is a plus for us

There is not something we disliked. There was only one downside that’s not fault of the property but the street where is located is a very popular hang out so the pub downstairs it’s a bit noisy (even if the B&B its at the 4th floor). For those that have a light sleep earplugs would be useful

Selected Antica Dimora De' Benci based on reviews (and picture of the breakfast area) and we were not disappointed. Location is great - within walking distance of sights, food and all that Florence has to offer. Rooms are clean and spacious, included a small safe and refrigerator - even the bathrooms were quite nice. Included breakfast was delicious - lots to choose from - and having a cappuccino made for us each morning was the best way to start our day. The best thing about this place is Sharon, the front desk manager. She made check in and check out a breeze and was so helpful throughout our stay. She was lovely with all of the guests. Her restaurant recommendations were spot on and she was a just a joyful presence to be around. Came to Florence from Rome and it was a much needed respite. If we get the opportunity to return, will definitely stay here again.

The apartment was at the perfect location: a bit further from the crowd but still in the center. The room was quiet and very clear. The breakfast was sufficient and offered a nice selection of various food.

The room was not done on a daily basis but the staff asked us if we needed anything. (However, when we told them to empty the bins, they did it). When something was gone from the breakfast table (e.g. fruit) it was not filled up again. So on a first come, first served basis you could have got access to everything.

Very good location, very clean rooms, very nice breakfast. Sadly I got sick when I was in Florence - and staff was excellent in calling Doctor for me and having Doctor come to hotel and give me prescription. Staff was very helpful.

There was not a good smell at entrance near elevator - problem more of building. Also - sadly there was a lot of noice coming from the square nearby. I think it must be a hang out location for the youth - but they were quite noisy - even on a Monday at 2 am.

Sharon and Patrizia were amazing. So friendly and helpful. The b&b is clean, beautiful and well kept. Great location and nearby everything. The bed was the most comfortable bed we stayed in by far out of the 4 hotels we stayed at during our trip. The room was spacious and comfortable, felt right at home. Amazon fire stick was a great surprise to watch Netflix on the tv. Breakfast was enjoyable in the mornings. The staff went above and beyond to help us and make us feel comfortable.

At no fault of the b&b, it is located just by some bars that are open until the very early hours of the morning. However, it never stopped us from having a good nights sleep. We would just put the tv on and you can barely hear anything. The convenience of the location far out ways this. The shower head could do with a little renovation just to match how lovely everything else is.

The location was great, close to everything. The staff was extremely helpful, before & during our stay. They responded very quickly to any questions I messaged them with, especially about parking. The accommodations were clean.

It was a little difficult to find the first time and a little confusing where to go once inside the building. But once we did it once, it was easy. The stairway could be a bit dark at times.

The location was perfect! Florence has so many great areas and Antica De Benci is in one of them. It was easy to find and had plenty of really good restaurants. Sharon and Upul were the most gracious and gave excellent instructions for checking in. We loved meeting the other guests at at the lovely breakfast each morning.

The lighting in our room or bathroom could be a little better, maybe. The shower could use a holder for soap, shampoo, etc. That's all! It was a great place!
