Perfect location, very nice and comfortable apartment.

Too small room for breakfast. Sometimes we waited for the space for breakfast. Breakfast itself doesn't correspond to the level of the hotel.

The room is excellent. It does not have a mirror in the room. The ambience is great. I shall love to stay at their property again.

A little better breakfast. And the tables are too small. For two people to keep their plates is almost impossible.

There is so much to recommend this place. Came with my boyfriend for two nights - our room felt so luxurious with a huge bed, wonderful bathroom with a separate bath and shower, and lovely Florence style view from the window! The room was beautifully clean and well kept. On the second day the sheets were made, and bath salts were left beside the tub - a very thoughtful touch! Also the receptionist we had was charming and full of excellent restaurant recommendations. She is a great asset to the hotel. Generally just a wonderful and reliable place to stay. It met all my expectations and would definitely recommend.

The hotel was unique and within a stunning Italian building. The location is good for first timers in Florence as near all the popular areas and 20 minutes walk from train station. The receptionist welcome was friendly except breakfast staff could have been more polite and understanding. It was disappointing that breakfast was served from 7.30 on a day basis and this was inconvenient especially when most day tours usually start earlier in the morning. Would have been great if they had served breakfast earlier. The bedroom were large and comfortable beds. Shower could have been more powerful but decent anyway. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was fantastic and very well presented with a nice perfumed aroma throughout.

quite loud and the check in process (instructions how to check in) could have been better. the noise outside is not controllable and is manageable, but the additional noise of each bedroom door having a loud buzzer, could be improved to reduce noise in the evening and the day

The location is excellent, very close to main Florence landmarks. The apartment was perfectly clean.

It was not possible to sleep at night until 3am due to the noise from the nearby bar. The breakfast might be improved (for example, at 9am there were no more bread rolls).

The place is beautiful and it smells so wonderfully. Can say it's the best bnb I've ever stayed in all my travels, I couldn't believe how lucky I was to book a place here. Located just beside one of the main piazzas in Florence, but the soundproofing is so great you don't hear any of the bustle and noise. It's so convenient and easy to get around. Cleaning service is excellent - they clean daily and replenished the water too. Facilities are complete with cutlery, glasses, pots, pans, a TV with access to YouTube or Netflix. A full dining table and living area (we stayed in the bigger rooms/suite because we were 5 people). There's a spacious modern elevator to go up to the rooms. If ever I go back to Florence, I'll only stay here!

The wifi is a bit slow, but wasn't an issue for us since we had data sims.

The hotel is located at the Santa Croce square, close to everything and plenty of opportunities to explore. The staff was very helpful in suggesting restaurants. The room was always made spotless and each evening it was like we just arrived. It's a beautifully appointed boutique hotel.

The only thing that wasn't great is that the bar nearby was very busy on weekend nights until 2 am. It was very noisy. The name is Fermino, and if you aren't put off by it, the bar is actually really great. It's better to just join in the fun of this local's bar. (The manhattans are great.)

The property was in a great location and was nicely furnished/decorated. Bed was pretty comfortable though on the firmer side, nice shower with good pressure.

Definitely a bit noisy at night…though our room seemed to look over a quiet street, turns out there’s a bar that locals frequent that’s open til 2 am… this was an issue even on a Monday night! Could also hear everyone coming and going in the hallway. Room was quite small, though ceilings were very high. The front desk is only staffed during certain hours which means planning around check in and check out should you need to drop your bags off early/before you depart after check out. I don’t think breakfast was included in our reservation, but it didn’t look very impressive anyway and we enjoyed trying a few local spots.

We had a great stay at La Maison Du Sage. Located close to the main area of Florence, but away from the busy tourists! Big bathroom and a very comfortable bed. For 300 euros a night it has no room service, or bar which I found interesting. I would say it’s a hotel but there is not a huge presence from the staff. I would say it is a bit over priced considering the amount we paid for the 3 nights. Staff where very friendly to us :) we did not do the buffet breakfast as it did not seem to have a great selection.

1. There was a bar located downstairs and down the alley, which was incredibly loud until 2-3am on the Friday night. It was loud for us and we did not face it, I don’t know what it would be like for those staying in a room on the side it was on. It did not bother us, but I had to wear ear plugs. 2. No guest area for you to lounge in upon check out. It was a 44 degree heatwave and we went upstairs in the main area for the air con and toilet whilst waiting for a flight and was told to leave to go downstairs which was hot and had all the doors opened. 3. We got locked out at midnight on our last night which was scary due to issues with the main door. Luckily I took a photo of the guest information and called the emergency number, which the lady was so helpful.
