Hotel Renaissance

Hands-down the best location in all of Firenze, one block from the Pizza della Segnoria. This was a 2nd visit and stay at this hotel. The staff is amazing, helpful, will hold luggage after check-out, make dinner reservations, expert tour guide, etc. The rooms and bathrooms are super-clean and super-impressive. Do not delay booking here, you will not regret it!

There is nothing to not like here. Depending on the room configuration, the AC may not directly cool your room to your liking, but that's it.

This place was awesome – beautiful room and a fantastic location right in the middle of everything.

It would get a bit loud at night, but honestly Florence has narrow streets and this was a very minor issue given how great the location is. Basically every night between 11pm and midnight there would be LOUD groups of American tourists on the streets outside, but thankfully this wouldn't go late into the night. No offense to Americans – I am American! hahaha. Every loud voice my wife and I could hear outside at night was speaking English with an American accent. I guess our country likes to party.

The location was excellent, very central in a quiet street. The hotel is very secure up a single flight of steps to a lift to the next level with all rooms on the same level. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully fitted out , great lighting , and quite spacious with room for suitcases. The shower area was something special, but we did book what was termed the “Spa Room”.. There was no real outlook from a single window ( double glazed so very quiet) but of course it’s close living in Florence! Breakfast at E8 was good value and enough to kick start the day.

Nothing , the whole few days were comfortable, lots of fun and everything worked well.

Great little hotel in the perfect location. My daughter had a cancelled flight coming home from ger study abroad trip, and I booked this hotel same day because of the reviews and location. Wow, she loved it! All the original frescoes on the walls are amazing, and the staff took great care of her and helped her get to the airport the next morning at 6am. She said the room was great with a view onto the pedestrian street. We love hotels that are small with local character so much better than big box hotels.

It was perfect, we left before breakfast. We will definitely book again next time we are in Florence

The hotel is situated in the centre only a few meters from the duomo and main sights away. Luxury renovated rooms, which are very comfortable with frescos inside, you are staying in a palazzo. Multi-lingual friendly staff. We had a calm room with turkish bath and really enjoyed it!

Parking is excluded and accounts for € 30,- per night, but this is common in Italy and especially in Florence.

Very, very nice rooms, combining old and new elements. Bathroom just from design perfect. Perfect location right in the city! Just minutes from everything. Café to start your day right in front, try!

Need to leave the car in a carpark, where they keep the keys and park. But nothing about the Hotel!

The rooms were very clean and spacious, and they were very beautifully decorated. The breakfast was lovely with some traditional pastries, cereals and fresh fruit. The staff were always on hand to help and made us feel very welcome.

The only reason we haven’t given this a 10/10 is because whilst there is wifi, we struggled to get a strong signal in our room and had to stand near the door to get one.

It was a pleasant surprise to see that even though the historical building was so old the room was very new and fresh. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The location is amazing, very close to the Palazzo Vecchio

You can hear a little noise from the street at night, but nothing that were a huge problem for us

Friendly, helpful staff, extremely clean and well-appointed, spacious rooms. The bathroom was amazing. Management made us dinner reservations where we were seated in the Piazza della Signoria! (Amazing food, too) This locations is perfect. I have been coming to Firenze for 35 years and this location was the BEST. One block from the Piazza della Signoria, a few blocks from the Duomo and the Santa Croce, without having to make hardly any turns. We will stay here exclusively from now on.

There were no negatives except we should have stayed longer!

We absolutely loved this hotel. It was so close to everything that we wanted to see - just the perfect location. The rooms were very comfortable, updated and air conditioned (a plus during the hot summer months). And the staff was very friendly.
