Such a wonderful location, we could not have asked for better. My son and I stayed for 3 nights in the Da Vinci room and it suited us perfectly. Everything was on our doorstep or withing walking distance. Luisa was an excellent host and gave us plenty of tips on where to visit. Breakfast was provided at two cafes beside the accomodation and both were exceptional. I highly recommend this accomodation fo anyone who wants to experience the fabulous architecture, art, history and culture of Florencw/

Breakfast coupons were great. Luciano and Luisa were amazing hosts and so helpful during our stay, provided a travel adapter for our chargers as we had packed the wrong ones. Gave so much helpful advice on places to go and how to travel around. Room was quiet and air conditioned, and Luciano had put a mosquito deterrent that kept us safe from bugs!

Bathroom was a little bit smelly and smelled weird in the mornings, and there was a toenail that I stepped on that made me feel a bit unclean. The view was not great (the back room facing a wall) and the bedroom had little light during the day so had to turn on the lights most of the time. We felt like we could be heard in the room because we were right next to reception, so didn't feel very private.

The room was well laid out, great to have a fridge, table and chairs and balcony overlooking the Duomo Saint Maria. They gave us breakfast vouchers to use with the option of two cafes within 20 m of the front door. Our favourite was the one in the square seating inside and out with great service and selection. We would definitely recommend and return. A nice touch was a water carafe which could be filled as often as you like at reception.

Luisa was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast at one of the local cafes was delicious and very generous, cafe Museo Opera Del Duamo. The view from the room to the Duamo was beautiful. It was a lovely touch to have the rooms serviced daily.

Can be noisy if people in the other rooms are not considerate when moving in the hallway. It is up two flights of stairs if you have a lot of luggage.

Booked this room as a present for my partner, was a bit unsure as it was a bed and breakfast but had absolutely nothing to worry about. The room was in the perfect location with a balcony overlooking the duomo. Waking up to the bells and views everymorning was simply magical. The breakfast was a decent sized one served via coupon at one of two local cafés (cheese ham toastie+sweet treat of choice+hot drink+cold drink). The bed was very comfy and the room was a good size with everything needed. We had a mini fridge, travel adapters, hair dryer, and best of all, a fan! Our hair dryer didn't work however, but one message to the hotel and they provided us another one the same day. The room was cleaned daily too. The check-in process was a breeze and one of the main things we loved was we could come and go as we pleased and didn't feel overlooked (you don't come across hotel management unless you purposely see them). If you want romance then definitely go for the room with the balcony, the views are insane and staying in that room is an experience itself.

Electronic devices could do with updating (travel adaptors, plugs, Hairdryers, etc.)

The location was perfect, everything was in walking distance, and you can't beat a balcony overlooking the Duomo. Surprisingly, noise was not an issue and the room was clean and comfortable. The A/C worked very well. We had no issues accessing the building and room. It was a great value. Absolutely would stay here again.

Wow, what a beautiful room with the most spectacular view, right next to the Duomo. Lovely comfy bed, great facilities with fridge, kettle etc. Good bathroom. Had everything we needed. Amazing location in the heart of Florence and great hosts, very responsive and on site to answer questions.

The ONLY issue for us was the stairs with the luggage. We were aware the lift was not in use but it was a struggle with a big heavy case.

Our room was small but very cosy. it was very clean and pleasantly decorated. the reception area was very nice and welcoming. The staff was extremely polite, attentive and professional, especially the owner Signora Luisa and member of staff Silvia. My partner and I will definitely stay at the B&B del Piazza del Duomo again. thank you for making our holiday so comfortable and pleasant.

Firstly, I want to say that the room did meet our expectations, and I would most certainly book again. Our flight was delayed so we would miss check in time and Luciano provided some excellent communication on how to get to the room, codes and also allowed us to check in the following morning. This relieved us of stress. The room was exactly has described. Room was tidied each morning and bed made, and breakfast vouchers left. All the little things were done well. Location is excellent. Staff friendly. Safe in the room.

Only one small thing sticks out, and that is a fridge would be very nice in there. Not a big one but cold enough to leave some drinks. Not a huge deal but just a nice to have.

TOP location right next to the Dome and close to all attractions, restaurants and even supermarkets. We had Room no. 2 - a room with private bathroom, which is outside of the room (but still private only for you). The room is quite tiny and with a “view” to the back yard, but enough for a few night’s sleeps (the bed, although quite small, was very comfortable). Breakfast is only a coffee or tea and sweet pastry (typical small Italian breakfast) - 2 options, a Cafe downstairs or a Cafe next to the Duommo (which was full, we didn’t try).

The bathroom is outside of the room (for room no2, other rooms I believe have a bathroom inside), which can be sometimes inconvenient.
