The apartment is up to the standard set by the Duomo in front of block. The size, the decor, the colors, the comfort, the quietness of the room in the heart of the city was an everyday joy. You exit, take a look to the right and you don't believe what you see: the presence of the Duomo was overwhelming every morning. Last but not least the housekeeping lady was extremely helpful and kind.

Reading other's commentaries first I expected the view of the Duomo, but I found only a view to the common terrace. Later realized this was the compromise to sleep centrally in a real quiet room not to be disturbed by noise of the streets. There was one thing I could not get used to: the smell of the communal staircase and corridor. Thank God it stayed outside!

We had a wonderful stay at Stanze di Caterina. Lovely building with lots of character! I cannot say enough about Giacomo, who was a delightful and helpful host. No matter what request we had, he was there to help. I had a few questions before we arrived, and he responded immediately. Since we had a flight out of Florence after check out, we were able to keep our suitcases at the building until we were ready. The room was steps away from the action, in a historic part of town. I loved the oldness of it. We don't have that in the USA!

perhaps send out the details for entry code either before, or at check in time. we didn’t get notifications till after check in time and we had to phone for the code, it was lucky I had the number.

The decor was unique and beautiful.

Some of the decor, although beautiful and interesting made the room very crowded with barely any room for our large luggage. Also, an umbrella on the terrace would have nice as it was too hot to sit out there at times.

The location was great, being very close to The Duomo and in easy walking distance to tourist destinations like The Uffizi Gallery and the Palazzo Vecchio. The facilities were excellent with a spacious room and private bathroom which was clean and comfortable.

Location-Few steps from cupoula. Host- the best you can imagine, very helpful, generous person. He even picked up us from Firenze rifredi, from that moment itself, he won our heart. Room- very cozy, good mix of modern and vintage. It had a balcony as well but it depends on the room you choose, I guess. I had a king suite. 200% recommended. I would stay there again. It made my stay more memorable.

There was nothing to dislike.

Pleasant room and a great location near the Duomo. Jacomo was very responsive to our questions and kept the room very clean. Comfortable bed and amenities such as espresso machine and complimentary drinks in the mini cooler.

The place amazing!!! BB near with Duomo , I dream about this! Best price, best quality, very clean, that very important for me! I dreamed of champagne, so I wrote to the owner to buy and chill it if possible. when I arrived at the room, everything was done as I asked! very attentive person. Good breakfast, in the room coffe machine!! Owner very gentle man explain and advise me, which place better for lunch and dinner!!! And not too much expensive

this was not! all at the highest level!

Host was great person, when we had problems he resolved them quickly.

We had to change apartment, because of the failures with heating and TV, but host came for us and changed our place for different, but with the same standard of the room.

Location is amazing - right in the middle of the city. Shower is also great. Really comfy bed.

There was a strange damp smell in a hallway - not in the room, luckily.
