Il Terrazzino sulla Cattedrale0

I simply can't recommend this hotel enough!! While I knew it was in view of the Duomo, I simply didnt comprehend that it is right across the street. Our room facing the Duomo and it was absolutely jaw dropping. The front desk attendant/manager Bledi was very kind and informative. Upon arrival he provided us a map of the city and circled the important sites in relation to our location at the hotel. The room was quite spacious and had a large bath tub and standing shower. It is a Bed and Breakfast and I unfortunately didn't have any so I can't speak to the food but I would stay here again without question.

The hotel entrance was just a bit difficult to find from the street. If anything I'd recommend additional signage on the outside.

It was a short trip to Florence this time. We rented 3 rooms from this hotel. The location could not have been better. Right in front of the Duomo. The stuff is very nice, friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic, but very clean and functional. This is what you can expect from a hotel in an ancient building smack in the centre of Florence. They did everything they could to make it work for the guests, and it did work for us. One thing that was pleasantly surprising is that the shower cabin was huge considering the age of the building.

This is not a B&B, there is a misconception somewhere somehow. But that was OK for us.

The location of this hotel could not be better. You walk out and see the Duomo right In front of you. There are shopping and coffee shops right next to hotel and near all the attractions in the center of Florence. The hosts recommended a local restaurant that we ate at twice - it was that good! The hosts let us leave our bags for a little after check out and were flexible during check in. Also bonus, the bed was SO comfortable.

You can see that the owner really cares about the apartment, its very clean and comfortable, has all necessary facilities and details for your nice stay and rest. The location is great, right in the center and still I wouldn't say it was noisy, we closed the windows and had a nice sleep. I absolutely loved it

Location is 10/10. You can not get any closer to Il Duomo and if you like to feel the most chaotic Florence there is, this is the place to stay. Location is just perfect. How often can you take a bath with a direct view to the magnificent cathedral.

Breakfast in a bistro downstairs is not suitable for B&B offering. Unfortunately to get a proper breakfast you will have to find a place to eat somewhere else.

The staff person (sorry cannot remember name) was very friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to get us a cot. The rooms were nice size and clean. Location fantastic

We weren’t aware that you had to pay extra for breakfast vouchers. This is not clear on site. We would have gladly paid but this was a minor inconvenience

The location is the best you can possibly get in Florence. The room was a good size, bathroom beautiful and the staff were amazing. They recommended excellent restaurant choices and were really thoughtful for our needs. We’ve stayed in Florence many times and this place is a real winner. Thanks for having us!

Friendly, helpful, and accommodating staff. Able to leave bags when arriving early or departing the city late. Room had great views of the Duomo and the piazza. Obviously a central location: short walk from train station and to Ponte Vecchio and other tourist sites.

Everything was as expected to better than expected.

The q is very beautiful, right in the middle of everything. Bledi was very helpful. We really liked the Central Garage where we left the car, it was not very far and you could pick up or drop off your car at any hour. When you arrive make sure to look for Duomo hotel, the Terrazzino is at the 1 floor of it. However, I truly loved everything the room, the location, we had a very nice time. Thank you kindly, Bledi!

the terrace was amazing and nice to have. the bed was comfortable and the space was easily accessible. the staff were exceptional and very helpful.

getting breakfast was a challenge. although it is hard for them to control, if there was more space it would be and 11/10
