Perfect place for a city break in Florence - superb location close to all attractions, on a busy street, though calm and relaxing, quiet at nights. Very friendly and helpful staff, fantastic breakfasts, support in everything a tourist may need.

Nothing serious. One may suggest that such a nicely designed and big room (we stayed in superior suite) should also accommodate some sort of a table and chairs to sit and comfortably drink a complimentary espresso :-)

Every detail has been seen to from the decoration to the excellent breakfast. The staff are efficient, friendly and professional. It’s the best place I have stayed in Florence after many visits.

Nothing. Remember to open the drapes and shut the shutters at night. Otherwise, the fabric blocks the air flow from the a/c.

Amazing! It’s centrally located! Perfect spot for you to explore Florence! We walk from the station to the hotel and it took about 15-18 minutes, depends if it’s crowded! But when you leave the hotel, you can ask the receptionist to help for calling a taxi! The building is elegant, beautifully designed, comfortable with big great bed! It’s very cleaned! The staff are extremely helpful and kind! Thanks so much the team for bringing us a great time! The breakfast is amazing, good quality and good selection of food! They just give you everything you have to try at Florence, truffle brioche, parma ham with melon, turkey, smoked salmon, fresh juice, great coffee, chocolate pastries, etc. Highly recommend to everyone!

The location of this hotel was right in the heart of Florence minute's walk from the Uffizi, the Duomo, and Acedamia but the best part was that it's an oasis in the city. The minute the door opens you are engulfed in a private oasis. There is an elevator to take you to check in on the 2nd floor, where the staff couldn't be more accommodating. We had a larger 1 bedroom with a double bed and a living area, a fully stocked bar for those who enjoy a mini-bar, Lavazza coffee service. A lovely bathroom that came with a hair dryer (a nice one) and a flat iron (also a nice one). Ladies, you know what I mean. This place was a sanctuary so quiet and so nice to retire to after a long day of museums, shopping, and sightseeing. Couldn't hear the Church bells or the packed streets at all. Beautifully and cleanly decorated and kept up. Breakfast is served in the lounge on the second floor (not a bar) and is fully stocked with cappuccinos, fresh bread, prosciutto, eggs, and pastry. You will not go hungry and it's an amazing way to start your day before venturing out into the crowds. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. From Martine on the first day to Andrea who, when our wine opener broke he went out of his way to help me open it. Let me say that that kid went to college because he broke out the work bag and tried a screwdriver with a small screw and then moved to a bolt. He gave me another bottle anyway but I loved the scrappiness and tenacity. He clearly went to college. :) DO; Let them book a driver for you if you are on a two or three-day trip to go wine tasting. Our driver was superior, he showed up in a nice car that was clean, was on time, and took us out to Poggio Amorelli which was AMAZING. We sat on the deck and had a wonderful wine tasting and light snacks.

The Corte Calzaiuoli was amazing - perfect location in the middle of everything you want to do in Florence, but also a haven and a quiet, comfortable and luxurious place to relax after a big day. The breakfast was great quality and delicious (the tea was perfect!), and the service was impeccable. The hotel is tucked away behind a wooden door on one of the main shopping streets, a couple of minutes walk from the main sites, and we had an amazing view of the Church of Orsanmichele from our window - but once you closed the windows you'd never know you were in the middle of the action. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone coming to Firenze.

Nothing - only thing I would highlight is that the entrance is in a non-driving section of the street that can be quite busy, so getting a cab would be difficult. We walked from the station with our bags and it was very manageable (about 13 mins or so).

The property was very nice inside, with features such as parquet floors, marble, and works by local artists. The tv worked very well with Netflix etc. The property is very well located right in the centre of Florence, and is a 2 minute stroll from Duomo, Uffizi, Bargello museum, Chapel Medici, and all the other main attractions. It’s also close to the bridges that cross the river to where the more atmospheric, and less touristy bars and restaurants are. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and very helpful for things like making dinner reservations. Breakfast was very nice, and had a good selection. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is located in a stunning old building, and has been beautifully renovated to a high standard. The rooms are beautiful, lovely bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, especially the staff serving. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, within easy walking distance to all sites. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful for restaurant recommendations & ordering taxis.

Our room was on a narrow side street so we had no view at all, just facing the wall of the building opposite. However, it was probably quieter than the rooms on the front as the hotel is on a busy street. The room was warm, and we couldn’t adjust the temperature, and couldn’t sleep with the window open due to the central location.

My husband and I wrapped up a three week adventure in Italy and this was by far our favorite hotel. It is located on the 2nd floor of a residential building on the main street of Florence. I mention that because there is only a small sign on the side of the door and when you ring and they allow you in the front door, you need to proceed to the second floor to a small reception desk. Once you get there, the management takes very good care of you. They parked our car, proceeded to make dinner reservations for us, gave us advice on where to go and what to see. Even though it was in the Center of Florence, the room was sound proof. Beautiful bathtub, bathroom, and Italian linens for the bed. Absolutely outstanding!

The rooms were well-appointed, spacious and had a great rainfall shower with separate double sinks. The location was fantastic and close to everything in central Florence. The breakfast was delicious and had many choices including a cooked-to-order omelette , Italian pastries, fruit and freshly squeezed juices.Our host, Martina, was delightful and went above and beyond in restaurant reservations and scheduling a taxi. She is an excellent host. The B&B has about 12 rooms and occupies the entire second floor of an apartment building. An elevator is available to take you up to the B&B floor and the outside entrance is securely accessed with your room card. it felt very safe there. If you plan on visiting Florence you won’t be disappointed.

The room was exceptional - by far the best place we stayed in France / Italy. Staff super helpful and very friendly. Room size and format were both really great. Can’t beat location either - and wasn’t noisy at night despite being on a Main Street.

Stressful experience for non-local in terms of driving to the hotel (have to go through a non-driving zone through streets full of pedestrians). Staff were very helpful explaining this once we arrived - but recommend best to contact property in advance so they can explain the restrictions to you to provide a bit of comfort / confidence when coming in for the first time to avoid the stress / uncertainty!
