The rooms were very spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. Housekeeping cleaned the rooms in the morning and evening. During the evening cleaning they lay out candy and slippers by your bedside for your return from exploring the city. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helped recommend restaurants and Gelato places for us. The restaurant staff was very friendly and attentive during the breakfast hours. I would definitely return. One thing to keepin mind, bring a steamer because they do not provide irons.

They didn't provide irons. Instead, they would press your clothes for a fee.

Exceptional customer service from all of the staff. Room was exceedingly well prepared each day with a proper refresh every evening. Room service was quick and attentive. Having been in Singapore last year, where customer service is exceptional, I have to say that this hotel is on the same level of service as any other. Breakfast was a real highlight each morning, we managed to have this in the garden most mornings, I really can't fault anything about it. Really lovely selection of food and friendly and efficient service. We came back later each day to have coffee and drinks in the hotel garden which in late March was lovely as we wouldn't be able to do this yet at home. Thanks to all the staff.

As the hotel was of a more traditional style it would benefit from more charging sockets. Lighting could be brighter.

We chose the hotel because it looked exactly as described- small with luxury . We were not disappointed. It was a little out of the way from the main sightseeing places to visit in Firenze, but this had the advantage of being away from the clamour, traffic & throng. We had a “family” room, which was actually two separate double/ twin rooms each with its own bathroom. This suited our group of four down to the ground. Very comfortable, the staff were most helpful, and the garden was a lovely venue for breakfast.

There wasn’t anything we disliked, and we were not planning to dine in a he hotel, but possibly if the menu had a few plainer options we might have been tempted.?

Hotel Regency is an elegant well-maintained property in a safe, quiet neighborhood just outside the historic city center where the key sites are located (e.g., 0.5 mi to Accademia or Santa Croce, 1 mi to Uffizzi, 1.3 mi to Pitti Palace). I requested a room that had a view of the beautiful tree-filled park across the street. From the large window of my second floor room, I was treated to seeing families with children, kids playing soccer and basketball, and people walking their dogs. Wonderful! My king bed was very comfortable, and turn down service was consistently lovely when I returned from an evening out. The bathroom was spacious, spotless and bright during the day thanks to a window. The breakfast included in my rate offered hot and cold options for any preference, and was hearty enough to see me through to dinner with only a snack mid-day. The staff are friendly and professional. This is a serene spot for a stay in Firenze, and great to return to after a day in the rich but crowded city center.

There aren't many restaurants or night spots in this area. The bathroom could be more functional (no place to put toiletries near the sink, shower/tub quite high to step into).

From the second we arrived until we left the staff could not do enough for us, it was genuine hospitality and not forced, the cleanliness in all areas was spot on, Milika who looked after our room was amazing, the little things she did in the bathroom was lovely, nothing was too much for anyone and you will 100% be seeing us again and we can’t wait to stay in your Rome Hotel, thank you again all so very much, Mat, Ronnie and Liz ;)

Nothing at all

After finally finding our way to our hotel after a taxi strike from the airport, we were welcomed with open arms to Hotel Regency. The staff at the front desk were always so helpful. They did everything they could to make sure our journey back to the airport was as smooth as possible by helping us find a private taxi during the strike. On booking Hotel Regency, they were accommodating to the fact we needed a room with 3 beds, the room was spacious with extremely comfy beds and enough room for 3 adults. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Great location for exploring the city.

Hotel Regency is such a lovely Florence gem! The property is older with great charm tucked into a quiet neighborhood and not super big, truly a boutique hotel. It is exceptionally clean and comfortable but what stood out the most to me was the exceptional guest service that is provided!! When I say EXCEPTIONAL, I mean it wholeheartedly. We were sleep deprived travelers upon arrival and our luggage was lost; we could not even put two sentences together! The Front Desk staff, two lovely young women, took such good care of us until we could get into our rooms. From concierge to bell service it was one continuously stream less A+⭐️ guest service. The entire staff bends over backwards in their friendliness, courtesy, and accommodation to serve you. And, they have this lovely inner building garden where they serve breakfast, lunch at certain times, and dinner. The food was good no doubt but not exceptional so if you’re this foodie then plan for breakfast. For us, it was heaven and a haven after long touring days. I highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️🇮🇹

Probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Bed was the most comfortable of anywhere I stayed on my trip to Italy. The suite we had was wonderful and had its own private patio which was one of the reasons for booking. Food was wonderful with a great breakfast that was included. We even at lunch at the hotel one of the days and equally delicious. We did not have dinner, so I cannot comment on that. Staff was attentive and very nice. Met all our needs.

Nothing, this hotel was exceptional.

We had an exceptionally nice stay at the hotel. The reception staff was absolutely wonderful, very kind, patient and helpful (Ioana was the person who helped us mostly, she was OUTSTANDING). All the recommendations we were given, for restaurants for example, were always delicious. When we wanted to arrange for certain things (sold out Galleria tickets for example, or a car for the day), we were helped with that on the spot. This made a huge difference. The Breakfast was also delicious. It's quality over quantity. The location is equally lovely, you're about 10min away from the touristic things but you're in a quiet, green residential area. From all the hotels I stayed in, this one is surely one of the most memorable and mostly due to the kindness of the staff.

We took a last floor suite which had a balcony. The room was beautiful but a little small. The chairs outside did not have cushions so we did not really make use of it. But we could have asked (we didn't). This is just a small thing but the hotel is really great, I think mostly because of the reception staff (again!).

Loved the location and decor and surroundings of the property, everything was first class. The staff couldn’t do enough and we’re so accommodating to all our requests. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to spend a fees days of quality time in Florence. We’ll be back

The only small comment was the delay in getting eggs (fried or poached) for breakfast.
