B&B Santa Maria del Fiore

Very quiet room with no noise heard from the street, spacious, with great shower. It’s located a bit outskirts of the main sightseeing attractions with 20-min walk to Basilica.

For such a price they could have put a coffee machine in a room instead of instant coffee and tea. They could have also offered free access to their spa.

Illumination at entrance. Lift could be accessible to pax as bags needed to be carried manually up and down. Location is great but no breakfast being provided was very inconvenient as we had to go out for the meal.

Bed and breakfast to be provided instead of asking pax to seek hotels outside for the meal. This provided quite a lot of inconvenience as we had to waste quite some time trying to find suitable food.

The room is great. The hotel is located on a small street so it is good for sleeping. The room had smart TV (can watch video/photos from phone) and electric kettle. The design of the room was good two. The room was very clean.

There is no breakfast option in this hotel and reception is in separate building.

Super comfy reconstructed room close to the centre. Very clean (daily cleaning). The room was tiny, but was enough for 2 nights in Florence. For longer stay I would select bigger room. You need to pick the access card in a nearby hotel (that as well provides the parking), but it’s just like 300 m distance. So no big issue. And the stuff was very kind and helpful with great English :) As it’s located on the 1st floor, it can get noisy during mornings, but you can close the window and blinds and use AC (perfectly working).

B&B in the name is confusing - no breakfast available. But there is plenty of options around the property. No lift, but as I said, in only one floor.

Very good value for money, clean, modern and comfortable room.

check in round the corner at the ‘main hotel’ was absolutely fine, however, we stayed in a room around the corner from the main hotel in an apartment block, this was hard for us to find, the sign on the door was not easy to locate, a bigger sign or better directions would have been better.

Large room, very clean, most comfy bed we have slept in a hotel, parking spot at a nearby hotel. Location is at the limit of the ZTL but in walking distance to the center, it was every morning a pleasure to walk by the wonderful buildings in Florence. We had no breakfast, which I think would have been at the same location as the parking.

The only downsize of the place I can think of would be the lack of a small garden or inner courtyard where we could have sit late in the evening for a glass of wine, but that gave us the opportunity to test more trattoria's.

The air conditioner is good. Large space. The surroundings are quiet. Close to the supermarket. The staff has a good attitude. Fully equipped.

Wifi is not good. The location is 20mins walk away from urban area.

the check in was in another building 3min walking and the lights were very low the room was cold a little bit as the A/C was not too hot otherwise we really loved it

Newly renovated and clean room, very comfortable bed and shower. We enjoyed the location all though it is not directly in the touristy city center. It is about a 15 min walk from the main attractions but the area was very nice, with cafes, restaurants, laundry and supermarkets right outside.

Room was a little on the small side, but manageable and was a very minor issue.

Super clean, quiet and organized room. I like thr early free luggage storage service. Convenient location and easy to catch the bus.
