The hotel has many facilities nearby: laundry, grocery stores, restaurants and many historical sites. We easily walked from the hotel to all the tourist sites in Florence and the train station.The room has a small private kitchen and it also has access to a well equipped shared kitchen. The private bathroom is on an upper level which makes it fun and curious. The hostess Rosa was always very kind, cheerful and patient, immediately answering our questions at the hotel in person or by phone when we were out for a walk in the city.

It was very cold on Easter even though the heating was on, but with a thick blanket we were able to sleep warm. Since you have to go up to the bathroom by stairs, a person with physical limitations could not use that room

Absolutely fantastic place for those who can appreciate living in "Palazzo" from XV th century. We had a very big room (quiet) with bathroom upstairs only for our use. There is a kitchen that you can make coffe or eat brekfast. Rosa our host was very nice and helpful! Amazing location - very close to main atractions (David- 1 minute, Uffizi- 15 minutes, main plaza-10 minutes) and 12 minutes walk from the train station. We stayed there for 2 nights and it was realy nice stay.

The apartment is in a beautiful location. You have view from the balcony on a historic square, with a large statue and gargoyles. The other wing of the building, on the other side of the square is a museum. The inside of the room also great, with wide space, an elegant chandelier, and a historic wooden ceiling. The bathroom is very clean and the shower cabin is very spacious. You can feel that the apartment has history and you will feel special having the chance to spend a few nights in it.

Rosa was such a wonderful and kind host. She was able to store our luggage since we were early for check in, which we were grateful. The room was huge and clean with a balcony overlooking the plaza . An added perk was the room had a mini fridge and access to coffee and tea. The location was great, easy walk to the Duomo. We would love to stay here again

The way they have adapted an antique building to serve as accommodation. It is a bit like live in a building of the Renacimiento. The location was superb just 5 minutes walking from the Duomo. The room has really high ceilings so it was cool even with 36 degrees outside!

One of the nights we stayed the Piazza was used by a huge group of young students to gather and drink until very late in the morning. It was very noisy until 2am. If you travel with very small kids it can be a problem.

Great location in the city centre, spacious room with nice atmosphere, fridge, small balcony. Coffee and pastry in near bistro for breakfast were delicious. Except from loud noise on the street we were happy with this accomodation.

Be warned that if you will arrive on Friday or Saturday, young people will be drinking in front of the building, under room’s windows. Very loud in the night so we couldn’t sleep. Also homeless people in front of building all day and night, harmless but still…nothing you want to have for this price for room. We understand that it is not Rosa’s fault but you should be warned. Also we liked pastry from bistro for breakfast but you get only one, so very small breakfast, nothing like in the hotel. Last day our room was not cleaned and in the evening when it was very cold, the heater started to work very late.

Rosa was amazing! So kind. Great at keeping in contact. Nothing was ever a problem. This is PRIME location. I would highly recommend. We really enjoyed the atmosphere around the apartment in the evenings, it didn't feel lonely. I actually felt very safe. The balcony was my favourite. Everything was just perfect.

Fantastic little B&B in one of the historic piazzas just 5 minutes walk away from the Duomo. We had two rooms which were spacious. There was a fridge, microwave and sink in a storage area off one of the rooms and we could use the kitchen facilities which was great with fussy kids to do lunch. The central location made it easy to pop back for a rest before going out again. Rosa was extremely helpful and friendly and kept the rooms immaculately clean. The B&B is on the 1st floor of a massive old house and our 2 rooms looked onto the gardens where the students from the Accademia practice their statue carving. Perfect for 3 nights to explore Florence.

For some reason I thought that the B&B was over a number of floors with access to the garden but I think I misread the information. The rooms were great for the time we were there.

Perfect 11/10 location. Exceptionally friendly owners. Historical building with high ceilings and huge room.

I’d suggest to have a flip flops for the floor in historical buildings is sometimes a bit cold in the night

The room was very big, in a true sense very historic. The owner of the property Mrs Rosa is very accomodating and very jovial. She will make sure that you get all the comfort and will clean the room daily too. The location is excellent and the breakfast at a bakery nearby is amazing. Nothing can beat the view from there and the quality of the pastry.

Since the room is on a public square, expect to hear some noises in the day and in the night too. Especially if you are booking the big suite.
