This is a stunning and stylish B&B in a building overlooking the Arno in Florence. The decor is extremely chic and the rooms were comfortable and aesthetically delightful featuring Francesco's collection of vintage scarves in frames. Most of the rooms overlook the Arno and have tables and chairs on small balconies I booked my room late in the day so wasn't able to get a room with a view but it was very elegant (the Emilio Pucci room) and a joy to use nevertheless. On the first night, I met the owner/host Francesco who was incredibly kind offering me Prosecco and a tasty snack on arrival. I also met Lapo the very friendly truffle hound who is a pet and a noble and gentle ambassador for the business. In Francesco's absence, Alice was very professional, helpful and friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Mine was an impromptu visit and I enjoyed it. There was great attention to detail, lovely bedlinen, and chocolate left on the pillow at night. Easy walking distance to the main sights and attractions in Florence. This is a gem. Highly recommended.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The location is excellent. Right in the centre of everything , overlooking th eriver Arno.The balcony is a treat at sunset. The building is old/authentic and decorated traditionally. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. the suite is two rooms in the family apartment so they are just in the next room. if you need help.

Some of the decoration is needs attention. The WiFi is intermittent. There's an odd large motorised chair in the bedroom. The listing on booking.com is misleading and makes it look like the lounge is part of the suite but it is in fact reception.

The location of the unit is fabulous—overlooking the Arno River w a small balcony. The room was clean, with comfortable beds and an updated bathroom. The common lounge area offered a place to sit and have coffee or a glass of wine from the hosts refrigerator. The host is quite helpful.

The room was small, with little room to hang or unpack clothes or hang wet towels. People in adjacent rooms smoked cigarettes on their balconies and the smoke came right into our room—so we couldn’t sit on our balcony or leave our balcony doors open at times, usually in the mornings and evenings.

The owner, his sister and staff are absolutely great here. They are so kind and sweet and helpful. I can’t say enough about them. The location of the hotel right on the Arno River is terrific. We had a small balcony with table and chairs overlooking the street and the river. It’s right in the center of all the action within easy access to the sights. They provide snacks, wine and beverages around the clock and they have the cutest dog, Luca, who greets everyone at the elevator.

Being in the center of town, like any urban hotel, the room is small. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway this isn’t for you. The walls are thin so it’s a little noisy, although I think the windows are upgraded for sound. But it’s right in the city. It’s a charming apartment hotel, so it’s got it’s quirks.

The location was amazing, along the river with a view. The decor was beautiful, and the owner, Franchesco, and his dog Lapo are amazing and extremely accommodating and helpful. It's exactly the kind of hotel you would want to stay in a city like Florence. Minutes walk from everything. All the sites, restaurants, and train station. Very clean and comfortable. The bed is very soft and the pillows were lovely. The intersection can be quite lively during the day, which makes for interesting people watching, and the sunset view from the bridge, which is directly over the street from the hotel, is breathtaking. My only observation is that the hot water can be a bit tricky to work out, but we got the hang of it after 1 shower. Lovely, lovely place to stay. and Franchesco is an absolute gentleman.

Francesco and Alice (and the cute dog) were lovely and very friendly, helpful , and accommodating, and very easy to communicate with. I loved the balcony and the view! The location was also perfect. And the waterfall shower heads seem new and very nice. They also offer free wine and snacks. I would definitely stay there again, it was a really nice vibe.

The first room I had was small but then when it became available Francesco switched me to a bigger room with a better view, and also treated me to the king size suite for the last two days of my stay, so that was great!

There was not a single thing we did not like about the Residenza Vespucci. From the quick responses in the messaging, the location of the hotel, to meeting Francesco, the incredible decor, the lobby, the attention paid to every detail, THIS HOTEL IS BEYOND EXCEPTIONAL. Francesco is incredible, so warm, welcoming, attentive and clearly has curated Residenza Vespucci with the guest's experience in mind, I will never stay at another Florence hotel again. I've traveled Italy for the past 15 years and this is the first hotel where the small details really stand out. Plenty of power outlets in the room, A FULL SIZED PROPER HAIR DRYER- this was so clutch- never in my 15 years have I had a full sized hair dryer in Italy- always the little white one attached to the wall with very low power like someone just breathing on your hair but Francesco pays attention to detail, proper toilet paper (not the thin scratchy kind), large comfortable bed and linens, sound proof windows, stunning decor, slippers, robes...and this is just about the room itself. We booked a room with a terrace which really was the icing on the cake- taking a coffee in the morning over looking the River Arno as the sun lights up the sky and in the evening to people watch as they head out for an aperitivo and dinner. We even grabbed some things from the Central Market and brought it back to eat on the terrace as the evening cooled down- what a treat. Speaking of treat- Francesco's welcome area/lobby is a designer's dream. When I mentioned "beautifully curated", I mean it. The colors and textures that filled the room, artwork, Hermès, Fornasetti, daily stocked mini bar with sweet and savory snacks, my husband did not want to leave Residenza Vespucci and neither did I. We would escape the city's afternoon heat by enjoying a cocktail (or two) and a little snack before washing up for dinner.

We didn't like that we had to leave Residenza Vespucci. Otherwise, Francesco and Residenza Vespucci is a 15 out of 10!!

Beautiful, high ceilings in a gorgeous, old building. The lounge had unlimited beverages. A few steps from Harry's Bar. River and City views are the same as if we'd stayed down the street at the St. Regis. Neighborhood wonderfully convenient to the tourist mains and great, restaurants. Our host was very helpful.

Our room was cramped. We opted for the better view of the two rooms. Our daughter's room has slightly more floor space, but her view of the city and river was more obstructed. The room looked clean, but the strong cleaning product used, triggered my asthma. It's smell and residue lingered. I would suggest changing that.

Absolutely delightful and loved the decor. Always a good night's sleep, luxury pressed sheets, memory mattress, easy access to a nice size shower with a bench seat as well as good water pressure with plenty of hot water, my balcony overlooked the river, plenty of fresh towels and my sheets were changed every few days (stayed 8 nights) everyday my bathroom and bedroom were cleaned. I felt very comfortable and safe with confidence in my host. The lounge area was nicely decorated and a great a place to have a glass of wine in the evening. As a guest you are welcome to wine and other beverages during your stay. They have the sweetest non-shedding dog that hangs out in the lounge. It's the breed of dog that hunts truffles. The dog is very calm and there is no need for any concern. I missed my dog on vacation, so it was very relaxing for me. I was there during the week of my birthday. It was a delightful surprise when they left me a beautiful tray in my room with a birthday card, fresh strawberries and yummy sweets. I sat on the balcony to enjoy my special day and treats. It really felt like a vacation simply because of the hotel decor, the beautiful view and the comfort. Also, the location is walkable to everything I wanted to visit. I traveled solo and the hotel offered other rooms for families, etc. When leaving my host called a taxi for me and it arrived in 4 minutes. If you want the feel of Florence and not some plain hotel this is the place to stay. I enjoyed the decor with it's beautiful fabrics by designer Emilio Pucci.

Loved the hotel.

this was spacious! there were only two of us and we could have easily fit 6. there were even 2 bathrooms. I wants to go to Venice to see the canals, and you literally saw the canals form your bed / desk / window and terrace. lovely! I rarely like staying at the hotel or room when I travel, but I found myself wanting to actually spend more time in the room because it was so nice. wifi was great. we both work from anywhere so wifi is key and the room didn’t disappoint .

I wish the place weren’t as dusty. the. Ed and stuff were clean, but you can tell the couches and curtains were super super dusty. definitely triggered my allergies.
