Great location, very friendly staff, clean and comfortable, value for money.

The breakfast is provided by a different business in front of the building and we noticed there were a few small flies around the buffet food which was not covered. Also, we would have liked to be able to order in or have breakfast in the room. The reception is in a different section where you have to walk through buildings outdoors and as it was raining, it was inconvenient.

very warm in the room - had to keep opening the window then worried about mosquitoes. Some areas of the hotel looked tired - the hallways and stairs - the carpet needs replacing. The spa bath was too big and so couldn’t be filled past the jets.

Room was very comfortable. Good size ( superior with view) AC worked very well. Very clean. Towels good quality and bed linen was v.good quality. View of Arno was amazing. Very quiet.

Lift was very slow and tiny. Since access to lift is a bit away from reception area and could be accessed straight from street I would have liked if room key card had to be used to use the lift. Admittedly the key card had to be used to access the room floor, I would have liked extra sense of security as a solo female traveller. Breakfast area was small and a bit basic for this quality of hotel. Asked for some boiling water and it took ages. Rooftop area could do with revamping- stair area poor and no decoration e.g. flowers or plants. No bar available either so if you wanted to have a glass of wine and enjoy the view you would have to bring up your glass from the bar in the very small and slow lift and up the stairs. Didn't entice me to stay.

Very nice hotel one block away from Ponte Vecchio. The room was very clean, with all the amenities needed and a very comfortable bed. Good size bathroom with a nice shower.

The location

The location was great, right on the Arno River. Very close to Ponte Vecchio. The hotel was in walking distance of a lot of shopping and restaurants. It is also within walking distance to the Santa Maria Novella train station. The rooms were spacious. The breakfast selection was very good. The reception staff was very friendly and helped us several times with taxis and recommendations.

The shower in my room was in a very deep tub. It was a bit difficult to get in and out of and I did slip once. Other than that, our stay was great.

The rooms were fantastic - high ceilings with a painted fresco was unexpectedly cool. There was heaps of storage space and the bathrooms were clean and well appointed. The included toiletries were of a high standard. The breakfast downstairs was amazing, as was the coffee. The location on the river and so close to the centre (ie Ponte Vecchio) was brilliant. Friendly staff at reception. Highly recommended. I only found out on the day of check out that there's a rooftop terrace that I'll check out next time.

Wouldn't change a thing - amazing stay.

Completely gobsmacked by the location and the view from this hotel/room. Paid extra to have a suite w/a river view, and it was worth every penny. It was like having a postcard of Florence out the front window every day. The hotel is right on the river and is a block away from Ponte Vecchio. It's a short walk to so many sights, restaurants, and shopping. From the roof terrace, you can see gorgeous sunsets over the mountains and then turn 90 degrees and see the Duomo. The breakfast had every option: cold meats, scrambled eggs & bacon, little sandwiches and quiches, fresh fruit, assorted baked goods, yogurt, cereal -- something for everyone. The staff was fantastic, too. I feel very lucky to have been able to stay here.

I have zero complaints. This place was perfect for us.
