It is a pearl ! I recommend this atypical hotel. It is very well located in an ancient tower fully refurbished with taste and comfort. It is full of charm. Splendid view. Of course there is nothing fancy but details are well thought. There is a PIANO in the living room and one can practice freely ! I should have brought with me my partition. Good service. Excellent breakfast. I stayed many places in Florence before - I must say this one suits me the best.

2 things : a coffee machine in the room (but actually you can go to the bar ) The shower room may be equipped with 2 lavabos to be more spacious . But it is really okay as it is .

The location of the hotel cannot be beaten, in a quiet little back street yet a stone's throw from the square. The owners were exceptional, so helpful and even booked our dinner for us at a restaurant they recommended. Would definitely stay here again!

Nothing! Wonderful stay

We had a room with a private terrace with sweeping views to the north and west. I can't recommend booking this room enough for a romantic getaway. The room was large and was lightly and pleasantly perfumed. Breakfast was the best we've had traveling in Italy (several locations). Desk was able to reserve an early morning taxi for us that arrived on time. The also have an extensive honesty bar with spectacular views. Clean, safe, and walkable to nearly everything in Florence. Hoping to stay here again.

A bit pricey, but the added touches and thoughtful service was worth it.

Breakfast was very good, loved the terrace. Liked that we could take movies to view. Loved the old world charm of the hotel, and the location. Staff was also very good. Liked the kitchen and the fact there was a washer/dryer in the apartment. However, in order to use it, we needed to buy detergent. Perhaps you could install a machine to purchase one Tide pod for washing a load. I was told we would have to buy an entire box of detergent at a store.

My daughter found the bed uncomfortable. I thought it was ok. Offer the purchase of clothing detergent for one or two washes. Also, offer ala carte for breakfast. I loved the breakfast area, but typically hot tea, yogurt and granola are enough for me, but I felt like I had to eat more to justify the price.

Location is excellent - right in the centre of Florence with a short walk to most of the museums. The hote has a lovley rooftop terrace where you can enjoy an evening glass of wine with amazing views. The room was large and well appointed with an excellent bathroom and shower. The bed was very comfortable.

The room wa a little dark. When we have stayed previously the room was lighter although we had a better view of the river this time!!

It is hard to describe what I liked - the charming way they displayed breakfast, the friendliness and willingness of the staff to accommodate our needs and wants. I would stay here a million times over and plan on returning soon. I could have stayed in their hotel, not visited any site in Florence and still felt like I’d had a good trip to Florence.

Cleanliness could have been better. I found a bloody string/floss on my bathroom floor and a piece of bloody hair or scab on the shower wall.

everything. all the obvious plus. the staff was exceptional from the from deck to rooftop bartender. the pluses not found often in Europe included a hair dryer that actually was usable (strong enough), washcloths for face which doesn’t seem typical in Europe, the honest bar on rooftop for off hours when the bartender is not there. views amazing and can imagine when not mid winter and cold and also covid how those 360 decks are very well used. perfect spot for new year fireworks that were amazing to see. since covid is was nice because private and safe.

if like to sleep with window open the people on the street through early morning are very loud.

This is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location for all the sights in Florence. The staff was extremely attentive and kind, and especially Marco who assisted us with our parking needs and answered all questions. Thank you, Marco!! The room was beautiful, very large and comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, all spotless. We loved the rooftop bars with gorgeous panoramic views of Florence. We look forward to staying here again and highly recommend this beautiful hotel!

Staff attentiveness was exceptional — the breakfast staff, bar staff, and the use of the bar on an honor basis was very nice. Couldn’t beat the location, and the old world feel of the facility. I would stay there again and will recommend to friends and associates.

The room was quite warm and in the winter months i couldn’t turn the Air conditioning on, so we would occasionally open the window —- which was fine. I feel this is to be expected in such an historic building.

First we loved the graciousness of the staff. The hotel’s little touches that made our stay more than enjoyable and the breakfast buffet was whimsical and cute with the freshest fruit I could have hoped for.

In my room there was a bloody string on the bathroom floor and some blood and hair (like a scab) on the shower wall.
