amazing rooms hidden away from the street, so total silence, even though you are in the heart of the most active area. High ceilings, good style, very clean and nice staff (they speak English very well) - Everything was perfect. The floors were a bit cold, but there was slippers in the bathroom for the feet. We chose not to eat at the hotel for breakfast. I am sure it is good, but we wanted to try the many local cafés. We had amazing breakfasts at Simbiosi inthe street, corner shop (only 1 minut walk). We chose to get takeaway a couple of times, when we had been out all day. The TV has netflix and many oother apps. We were happy that the hotel was 8 min walk from the trainstation and placed near good (trendy) restaurants. It is very near everything only 1-5min walk to shops, pharmacies, nail bar, hairdressers, take aways, gorgeous restaurants/cafés, 5min walk to uffizi museum. 10min to Ponte Vechio. There are 2 Indian take away ("Royal Indian" was the best). If I come back to o Firenze, I will definitely stay here again.

Nothing too mention. It was 100% perfect. However, if you are staying for long, then I should mention that there is no wardrobe. Only a small rack to hang clothes up. But we didn't need that for a short stay (3 nights).

The staff were wonderful, communicative and accommodating. The room was beautiful, the building was lovely, the breakfast was great (you choose sweet or salty option). Location was perfect for exploring Florence by foot. The place was spotless. (If you are staying here it would be helpful to know it’s not a full service hotel. We did self check in, reception isn’t staffed, bar isn’t staffed. The beautiful common areas you see are really only for breakfast. The main door is locked most of the time, you let yourself in another door. You won’t get lunch, snack, room service or dinner here. — This was all ok for us during our stay, and the price reflects this, but it is worth knowing before you arrive to avoid disappointment). The room was amazing and HUGE, we loved every minute there. Kiren was the best, she provided us with the tastiest breakfasts! always with a smile!

Everything was good about this hotel. It was seriously one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had so far. First of all the room itself. After walking through a beautiful corridor, you will arrive in an amazing styled room with a very nice interior, a convenient small kitchen and a very nice bathroom with relaxing rain shower and very good beds and pillows. The communication with the manager was absolutely perfect. Because we could not arrive while the reception was still open, we got the best instructions through WhatsApp. We could always ask and reach the manager by sending a message. The breakfast was delicious. We had a choice between Sweet and Salty and switched a few times for variety but both options were great. The girl that hosts the breakfast was super friendly and quick and for the last day, when we had to leave / check-out before the kitchen was open she made sure we had breakfast in our own kitchen. In short: Beautiful hotel and great care and customer service for a good price. I couldn’t wish for anything more.

Everything was so perfectly done that from now on, all other hotels in different cities will disappointed.

We really did enjoyed our staying at the Corte Guelfa. The room was big enough for two, there was a small kitchen, big windows and blackout curtains. We had no problem with shower, as described in the previous comments. Very beautiful courtyard, perfect location. In description on Booking it is said that main attractions is in 3 km distance, but in fact it much more closer - check google maps. Mercato Centrale is just around the corner - there you can find fresh veggies, fruits, cheese, prosciutto etc. and also a choice of restaurants at the second floor. The personal was very nice and helping.

Staff were very friendly and helped us with taxis and local recommendations. The location is fantastic, it can be quite sketchy around the area on an evening so something to bear in mind for female or solo travellers, but is close to everything.

The air conditioning wasn't the best, it was very hot in Florence when we stayed and we found the air con at other properties far superior.

Lovely boutique hotel, high spec fixtures etc, excellent location, staff couldn't be more helpful. Booking.com rating not an accident. We came into Florence from Pisa by train, easy walk even with suitcases. Free bottle of prosecco on NYE was a typical example of the thoughtfulness of management.

Florence suffers from sewer smell challenges - these seeped into our bathroom a bit, which was a shame, but par for the course in central areas of Florence we have found. Closer to an aparthotel in many respects (might be covid related), so they could have recognised that with a few more self-service options in-room, which were big enough.

I have been visiting Florence regularly for several years. This is the first hotel that surprised us with a clear distinction from other accommodations in Italy. Quiet, clean, fragrant (!), with great friendly and helpful staff. Tasty breakfasts worth recommending. Excellent, well-connected location near major tourist attractions and great places to eat. The hotel is absolutely worth the price. (Hopefully not too many people want to visit it, because there will be no room for our next stay ;-))

The neighbors above us were sometimes too noisy - maybe it would be a good idea to move the sound insulation in the ceiling?

The property was very nicely done and clean. The rooms were well decorated. The staff was really friendly and helpful.

The studio room was smaller than we expected. It was however very comfortable and nicely done up. It had everything you need in the kitchen. One night it was pouring in Florence and some water seeped into our room through an open window, which was a bummer. However staff more than made up for it through their generosity.

Great location, a few minutes of walking from local market with a nice variety of food (something like a food court). Also, ~10 mins away from the Central Station or the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. The room was always clean. All people from the staff were friendly, helpful and polite.
