Check-in was quick and easy - we arrived while the owner was present. We had a small room with a private bathroom. The bathroom was "roomy" for European bathrooms. We had enough room for our belongings. Enough outlets for charging devices. The bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. There was a small table with two chairs. We had to leave the first morning before breakfast was to be served so the owner showed us where to get some breakfast croissants, baggie for taking the food "to go", and where we would be able to make coffee and get water. There was not a "view" from our window but this did not matter because we were not there very much - the room was very nice. I would stay here again. My travel group was one parent and one teenage daughter.

The flight of stairs we had to carry to get to the lodging. This is the only think I did not like about the place but it was only one floor up however the first floor must have a very high ceiling.

Cicerone Guesthouse in Florence was a fantastic choice for our stay. Its central location was a real highlight, making it incredibly convenient to explore all the city had to offer. The hospitality of the host was great, adding a personal touch to our visit. Each morning, I looked forward to the delicious breakfast served at Cicerone Guesthouse. It was a perfect way to start the day and provided a taste of local flavors that I truly enjoyed. All in all, this guesthouse provided not just a comfortable stay, but also a welcoming experience that enhanced our time in Florence.

The B&B is easy to find and at a good location. Quite close to the train station (for all of you arriving by bus or train), and just 5-10min away from the Cathedral square. Getting in was quite easy (with the code to enter the door). The bed was super comfy and nice to sleep and relax in. We got the wrong key and couldn't enter the room later that day. Luckily, the communication with the host was great, and she reached out and helped us get in straight away. Having the possibility to leave our luggage there after the check-in, so we can spend more time in the city carefree, was quite nice.

The street outside was quite loud, even at night. Also, the room was a bit small, not a lot of space to open and reorganize the suitcase (but was manageable). There is breakfast (one paistry of choice, coffee and juice) but you have to take it to your room and eat there. I enjoy eating in the dining area, but having some coffee and food is still nice. :)

Good location, 10 mins walk to the Duomo, close to markets and Central station. Simple breakfast - we had a packed schedule so our thoughtful host gave us our coffee in a takeaway cup, and pastries in a paper bag. Otherwise, on days when we leave a little later, you would collect your breakfast and it was loaded with pastries, yoghurt, sweets, oranges and coffee. I'm not a big fan of a sweet breakfast but my partner is Italian and it is their typical breakfast. We were given detailed instructions to check-in as we arrived quite late.

Nothing - the room was basic/no-frills and simple but not a deal breaker. The hairdryer had exposed wires so would be good to get that changed.

location, super tasty and big breakfast, self - managed check in, guided by host, absolutely comfortable bed (even better than we have at home!) This is just for consideration if you look for spacious place to stay - the room was small, when we opened suitcases, there was almost no space to walk from the bed to the bathroom. It is not a big deal at the end as we stayed only one night so it was managable. And you do not come to Firenze to stay in the room, but to see the beauty of the city :)

Our stay at Cicerone guest house in Jun 2023 was amazing. The host Nina was very organized lady & our room was spacious, clean and very well maintained. We did not face any challenges here, the breakfast served by the host was amazing too. The property is at a walking distance from the main attractions of city, and also a walkable distance from station if you plan to reach by train or tram. Would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a budget option for your stay in florence.

It is really close to the center of the city and the train station. The bed is comfortable and the owner is very nice. The breakfast is Italian specific. They serve croissants, tea, coffee. The girl from the reception was extremely nice and she speaks very well english.

We found empty shampoo bottles in the shower, most likely from the ones who stayed there before us. The owner said that the person who cleaned the bathroom was new and most likely forgot to throw them away but the shower was cleaned up so we don’t need to worry about it. If you want to have option for your breakfast you need to get up early. It is not a general breakfast for everyone and we got out the room around 9:30 AM and there were only three croissants left for us.

For a guesthouse the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. The bathroom was renovated and pretty big. The breakfast was quite simple and limited, but ok for a guesthouse. The location was very near to the Galleria dell' Academia and the train station, as well as the Duomo.

The only negative aspect that I could find was that the mattress was a bit uncomfortable. Furthermore, the strict checkout at 10.30 is rather uncomfortable.

Very kind staff. Great recommendations. Breakfast is very convenient to eat in your room and consists of pastries, cappuccino, yoghurt, sliced bread with choice of spreads, juice. The ability to leave your bags there before check in or after check out also great. Room a great size, good size bathroom with limited bench space (totally workable). Daily cleaning and change sheets every 2 days. Good cupboard hanging space and a luggage bench. Across the road from a good laundromat.

Have to eat breakfast in your room, so not an opportunity to socialise. Good location but not most convenient to most attractions - about 10-15 min walk to attractions (which is totally fine). Accommodation is at first floor with no elevator. Not a problem for us but worth keeping in mind.

The decoration of the rooms were lovely. The location was also ideal to walk around the city but also to reach our conference venue in the Congress Palace. Breakfast was amazing! Very tasty pastries that you could choose each morning with nice coffee to eat at your own room. The staff was very nice, helpful and kind. I’m very great full for that double espera before my presentation! The windows do a great job at isolating the noise from the busy street. we would definitely come back :)
