B&B Hotel Firenze Pitti Palace al Ponte Vecchio

Staff were exceptional! Lobby staff went out of their way to ensure our happiness. The breakfast staff were amazing as well. They were very attentive to everyone's needs! Even though the hotel is tired we would stay here again!

We stayed here in 2011. Our stay then was fantastic! Since then, the hotel has been sold to another group. The hotel is tired and in need of updating. I am sure the pandemic did not help in any way. HOWEVER, we did notice there was updating being done on the first floor. It appears that new management is taking steps to address this issue.

This has to be one of the best boutique hotels in Florence. The location is fantastic - right at the foot of Ponte Vecchio, a few minutes walk away from the entire historic town centre. I couldn't have asked for a better location to stay at. The staff is extremely sweet and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are adequately sized, comfortable beds and a great breakfast spread! I love the relaxation lounge they have on the mezzanine floor as well. The bus stop is right outside the hotel entrance - offering easy connectivity to all of Florence, including the Piazzale Michelangelo. Can't recommend this place more! Tip: Wake up early and step out of the hotel onto Ponte Vecchio, before the crowds begin. It's magical to have the bridge all to yourself.

I am only nitpicking here, but the area nearby shuts early (post sunset). I visited in the off-season time of February, so I don't know about season time. I couldn't find any eateries that were open late night when I got a little peckish. Although the hotel has a restaurant that offers dinner till 10pm but it can be slightly pricey.

The Hotel was at a wonderful location, only minutes walk from Pitti Palace. The Restaurant service was good, and the Staff were very friendly and helpful. We will cherish the memories of our breakfast every morning there. The room was comfortable, and clean, being maintained by the housekeeping Staff, who did a good job. The Reception Staff members were very kind and helped us when we needed it, like arranging for a buggy for our toddler, calling a cab etc. Overall, our stay there was pleasurable and we can recommend this Hotel to anybody who's visiting Florence.

Well we came to the city to explore it in 3 days .. The location is perfect to go anywhere on foot .. Restaurants & Markets are 1 minute walking . Rooms are big - Clean .. Beds are super comfortable .. Amazing wifi coverage . Reception is so professional ( Miss Elena ) Thank you for welcoming us and introducing us to the city . Breakfast is also very nice x ( Thanks Miss Martina ) for the wonderful service. 10 out of 10 ⭐️

Luckily We didn’t see anything that we didn’t like .. so thank you for that as well .

Aside from the amazing location I want to give a special shout out to the staff. I lived at this hotel for a whole month and they were nothing but kind and warm. I also want to thank especially Elizabetta at reception who warned me about the taxi strike in Florence and arranged for another accommodation for me so I could make my flight the next day. If it wasnt for her help and quick thinking I would have not made my flight back home. Thanks so much to the entire staff for being amazing and I definitely would love to come back!

There were some aspects of room cleaning that could have done with some improvement. Sometimes towels would not be replaced or the floor would not be cleaned very well. At times the water would also not be warm in the shower as well. This happened quite frequently and is something the hotel could do with improving.

The hotel is in a super location and the reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. We loved the view over the rooftops to the Cathedral Dome and the Palazzo Vecchio. The room was quiet and the beds very comfortable. There was a good variety of choices for breakfast and we appreciated the kettle in the room. Thank you to the staff for a very enjoyable stay.

Hotel Pitti Palace is in a perfect location just off the south end of the Ponte Vecchio. It's a classic-style hotel with a lot of character. We had a junior suite on the 2nd floor (3rd floor in the US), which was a decent size and had a lovely little terrace that we could not use because of rainy weather. The breakfast was excellent, but not as good as the views from the 6th floor where breakfast is served -- truly stupendous views north over the city toward Il Duomo.

The only quibble (apart from the price, which is fair for the location/property, but still high) was that the shower got the bathroom a bit wet. Everything else was great.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were so nice, friendly and welcoming. The room was extremely clean, well sized and organized. The room had a beautiful Juliette balcony overseeing the beginning (or end depending on your perspective) of ponte Vecchio. The items in the mini fridge were decently priced for a hotel in a tourist area. The hotel location is amazing. The air conditioner worked really well which is great in this hot weather of August. The breakfast is amazing. A wide variety of options and an incredible view of the beautiful Firenze. The staff at the breakfast area are ao friendly and helpful. I will be returning to Florence too and that will be my first choice of stay

The only downside is that because my room faced the street, it can get loud at times because of the traffic of tourists. Nothing they can do about.

The location was fantastic. Staff were friendly and efficient, we checked in early and they accommodated us no problem. The breakfast was good, but the staff are super busy. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was very good.

I didn’t have an issue with anything, but if you are a light sleeper, I would recommend getting a room away from the street, as the location is great, but that also means that there are lots of people and noise late into the night.

- the walls need to be repainted - there was a bit of mold in the tile joints * would have been nicer to have a firmer mattress, but that's just personal preference
