Villa Cesi Resort & Spa

It was so beautiful. I didn't want to leave. It is newly renovated and they did such a great job. The room was clean, large and comfortable. The spa was still under renovations and not open, but I'd love to return once it's complete. The onsite restaurant was nice to have, and the staff was friendly. We had a rental car which made traveling there and around the area nice, and easy. The hotel was easy to find and had plenty of parking in their lot. To get something so beautiful and countryside just 25min from Florence was more than we could ask for. If you have a car I highly recommend a trip down to San Gimignano and hot air balloon ride outside of San Casciano Val di Pesa (Tuscany Hot Air Balloon Flight - viator.com). We did both and coming back to stay at Villa Cesa felt like home - comfortable and cozy.

Without a car the location may not be ideal for public transportation or things within walking distance. You're in the countryside and it is incredibly beautiful, but I'm glad we had a car. The roads from Florence to the hotel were very easy to maneuver and navigate - we're 2 female travelers that felt safe and had an amazing time.

Very pleasant place in the hills of Tuscany. Comfortable rooms and very good breakfast. Views from the rooms and around the hotel are beautiful! It was our idea to stay in some interesting place when visiting Florence, it is some distance from city center but no problem with a car, and you drive some really great roads.

Everything. Staff was warm and polite. Room was clean and comfortable. The view from the hotel was good. The hotel is located in the heart of Impruneta, so the nature was perfect and you can taste a fresh air there.

No way to control thermostat in the room. Only heating was turning on, no air con.

Good size hotel, big enough room, clean. Has lifts, Has restaurant option on site which is handy to not drive out for dinner. Friendly staff, and they also had a kitten which was a total highlight! <3 plenty of parking space. We also walked around - had a few hot tubs (I think) and a swimming pool which must be cool in summer, I guess.

The AC didn't work so we had to open the window, and it was a bit noisy as someone were firing fireworks. It was ok this time of the year (mid October) but would be an issue during hot summer. Breakfast and restaurant was average, ok of course, but average.

Tej garden areas, pool and hot tub were nice. My room was exactly as described, it was nice and comfy.

The shower wasea little too small, I don't need a big bathroom, but the shower did not have enough space to move. Also I was very dissatisfied with the fact that a fitness center is described as part of the areas in the hotel, we even asked again through booking to make sure they had one and the answer was yes. When we arrived there, they told us that they didn't have any, I don't appreciate the misinformation. Other than that, a very nice hotel in Tuscany.

We arrived a lot earlier than in check time but we could allready check into our rooms which was very friendly. Location is nice.
