Sognando Firenze was in an overall great location. Bus stop was right in front of the building plus there is a taxi stand about thirty feet away. Our room was large and spacious with comfortable beds. Breakfast was rather good and the two women we dealt with seemed very nice...I believe a Marina and a Barbara. Barbara in particular was super friendly and funny. I did encounter one ice cold shower but overall it was quite comfortable there. If I have one negative and it's probably not fair for me to complain, one of the women told us she'd call us a taxi. As in"CALL" I had booked a $100 train at the major Florence train station. The woman used some taxi app ...the app was non responsive...even no taxis at the taxi stand. If we were simply just told prior, that getting a taxi is not a sure thing we would have taken an earlier bus and all would have been well. Instead we waited and waited while no taxi responded to the app...we ended taking a late bus and I lost over $100 in missing the train.. That aside it's a nice place to stay in a very good location.

One freezing shower, a bit oldish, bathroom floor looked rather unclean!

Sognando Firenze is a cosy small hotel ca 30 minutes walking distance from the city centre. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast buffet is not very rich, but it is sufficient. No complains. TIP: If you don't want to eat in restaurants all the time, there is a supermarket (Carrefour) near the location.

One can see the rooms already need some renovations. Especially some parts of our bathroom were broken (toilet seat, tiles) and the cleaning of bathroom could be better (shower, dust). The TV in our room also did not work.

The owner gives detailed inidcations on the arrival and check in in the room which facilitates a lot the process. The location is very close to multiple bus lines of the city and the area is particularly convenient to explore the part of Florence along the Arno river. The quality of accommodation is in the top tier: cleanliness, decoration, space, bed. Certainly a great choice.

The room AC was a bit too cool when arrived, but could be easily reset. But I guess such big power of the AC is necessary for the hottest days of summer (it was a chilly September day in my case).

The room was big, clean, with all the amenities needed Self check in and out was very easy with all the details provided in advance Wifi was good Breakfast was delicious, with fresh products and lots of vegan/ vegetarian/dairy free options Everything was sparkly clean! The service was above 10 but i cannot rate it more than 10, very emphatic, accommodating, we were able to leave the bags before check-in and after check out. They had maps, recommendations, umbrellas if needed and always had a kind smile. The can arrange payed indoor parking with one of the hotels they partner with, 5 min walking from the property The toiletries included personal hygiene products which is not often at all and a very nice touch, and the quality of the toiletries was very good Sheets, bed, room, towels everything was very pleasant

Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We loved the big windows and well-equipped bathroom. There was everything we needed, we appreciated tea, coffee and the electric kettle. The staff was very helpful.

The breakfast was very simple for us, probably because we usually eat more vegetables. Location could be better, but I know it is not something that can be changed (about 35 minutes walking to the train station).

Location was good, quiet and lovely place to eat nearby. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was fresh and varied. Barbara and her colleague were incredibly friendly and helpful with a gift for us to celebrate the Italian holiday. Easy to find with great transport links.. great communication before arrival to help us access the property.

Room was a little tired and could do with updating.

Very good place, clean and comfortable. otel’s breakfast is very good, rich menü opportunity and owner was very nice to us, and also very good thing is a stong wifi like home. Me and wife letf very happy. 10-15 min walk to center but if you are like walking this is nothing to you. other way is bus are going to the center every 5 min front of the hotel, it is very easy and also, 2 bakery exist, one opposite the hotel, one is below the hotel very good opportunity.

The girls were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was great. The location was good, not too far from the centre. Big enough room, clean, and cool . The only inconvenience was that the kitchen was right behind us, and we heard all the noises from early morning when they were prepping breakfast. The girls did apologise for the noise, too.

Let's begin with the amazing staff! Any time I reached out to them, I received a response within minutes. Everyone was very kind. Loved my room overlooking the traffic circle and the cafe down below. The location is lovely, near the Arno River and a half an hour walk to the Uffizi and other cosmopolitan areas. A great experience all around!

I really enjoyed the location an the stuff, the receptionist was really helpful, espiecially with booking a taxi after the stay and helping with the invoice.
