Clean room with good location. Naples was the last destination of our 12-day-trip in Italy. We arrived by ferry from Capri, and took a taxi to the accommodation. It is convenient that the place is run by the restaurant downstairs; you get a person to show you the room, breakfast easily in the morning and they also looked after our luggage during our check-out day. It is very close to the train station, from which you can use a bus connection to the airport that we used.

You can sense a bit of Naples' unsafetyness in the area, but that is the case close to the train stations. We expected more from the breakfast as it was made by a restaurant, but it was very average Italian one (=not very good in Scandinavian standards).

DOMUS VESUVIO has to be one of the nicest accomodations we have had during our Euro trip! The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and looked after. The team supported us with contacts for an airport transfer which went great, they really do think of everything! We had a late dinner at their restaurant downstairs and let me tell you, the pizza was one of the best we’ve ever had! Highly recommend. We were greeted with complimentary wine during our dinner and then a bottle to have in the apartment, this was such a beautiful touch to our stay. We booked the accomodation on the day of our visit and Giovanni contacted me within minutes to give us all the information needed for our stay. The accomodation was clean and well kept with all necessities needed, they even provide slippers, shower caps and cotton wipes. We had a great morning breakfast before we headed to our next destination. When we were leaving, we struggled to find a taxi and all staff at the restaurant supported us with arranging transport.

The procedure upon arrival wasn't completely clear. Luggage storage possibility was discussed before checkin in the morning, however when we got there, we didn't find anyone. I suggest a better description about the details not to have any misunderstanding. Breakfast is existing, it is low budger but Ok for the price Gluten free option was promised in advance, however not provided - I'd recommend to improve a bit in the future.

The host was exceptional. He did everything to make our stay the best. We had some issues with our flights and he supported us the whole time. There is a restaurant below, so finding dinner at short notice was a breeze. My family enjoyed the pizza! A yummy breakfast was included and everyone in my family found something they liked! The owner coordinated very convenient parking for us near the property and went above and beyond during our stay. Your hospitality was much appreciated! Thank you!!

We arrived late and didn't have much time to explore the area, so we can't comment on that!

The bed was very comfortable and the television was actually big unlike most hotels and had netflix and disney+, the shower was amazing and the staff very friendly and helped us find the location. And at the end of our stay the staff gave us a bottle of red wine to take home with us. So I really recommend staying here.

The toilet door had a glass door which isn't a problem just uncomfortable, and the sink had no power to it.

-Host; -Bed! -Mini bar; -Espresso machine; Giovanni was very kind and welcomed us at the property. The bed was comfortable although the pillows were too high for me (but this is just my preference) There was a mini bar with refreshing drinks and an espresso machine in the room but with only 3 coffees for 4 persons

-1 of the bathrooms; -the area; -the breakfast situation* We had 2 rooms and the bathroom in one of them was problematic. Also I don't exactly like the area. It's very close to Garibaldi station which could be considered as an advantage for transportation, but the area itself is not very appealing. We had breakfast included and it was in the restaurant right to the apartment. Breakfast was ok, but in the restaurant there was a vitrine with fresh fish which was not exactly fresh in the morning and the smell was not good.

+PLUS+ Location - close to the airport and to the main train station so it is easy to reach and to travel to various nearby places. Easy to walk to the old city centre and various locations in the city Staff - helpful and friendly Cleanliness - Daily cleaning, fresh towels if you need them Secure - You need a lot of keys to get in, there are cameras around, so you feel safe Other - air conditioning, good shower, smart TV

-MINUS- Soundproofing - It's like sleeping with your windows open, you can hear everything, so bring some ear plugs Breakfast - Minimal, a couple of slices of some sponge cake and tiny boxes of fruit juice/milk

we booked very last minute (15mins before arrival) and the host Giovanni was so welcoming and helpful. the room was spacious and can be seperate with by a sliding door for a person sleeping on the sofa-couch. the restaurant (run by Giovanni) downstairs is also fantastic & open all day. we are the best pizza we’ve had in Italy so far after we checked in. very convenient location next to the train station, plenty of restaurants and facilities nearby. thanks! will be back again if passing through Napoli 🙏🏼

John, the host, was exceptional with communication and greeting us. Our flight to Naples was canceled so we ended up getting in to Naples on a much later flight that didn’t get in to Naples until 23:00. John checked in on us during our wait in the airport and then phoned us after our arrival to let us know he would be waiting for us outside the property, which he was, when we arrived. The room was very clean with comfortable beds and a great shower that our adult kids loved. The location was good for catching the metro and for train transportation to our next destination. John stored our luggage for us after checkout so we were able to explore the city with peace of mind that our luggage was safe.

The surrounding area is inner city. You are in a city so you will experience inner city sites and human behavior. We felt safe where others may not have. This may be because we are well traveled.

The accommodation can be reached fast from the airport. The personal Giovanni, Giovanna and Manuela were always available for any questions or support (we could text them a message via whatsapp or meet them downstairs in the restaurant). Restaurant available at the ground floor and great food. The location and accommodation was good if you stay for a short trip 👌
