the room is special, very spacious and high. located right in the center near terraces and shops. the wonderful view and the lights of the city made me feel relaxed and comfortable.

the hotel has no parking. in front you can park for a limited time for a fee. I was recommended a nearby parking lot where it was very crowded and you had to leave the car with the keys and the parking staff would keep moving the car in the parking lot to make room for other cars. I took the car from the parking lot with multiple scratches, even a bent fender. the car was rented and I had insurance, otherwise I would have had to pay several hundred euros in damages. I know it's not the hotel's fault, but this aspect must be taken into account if you want to come by car.

Lovely appartment, clean, cool, quiet and airy with a modern feel in a very central location. Big rooms, high ceilings, good security. Super views along the via Maqueda and the via Cavour from the balconies. Communication prior to arrival was great and the staff, particularly Giusy and Danielle, couldn't have been more friendly and helpful during our stay. There was plenty of choice at breakfast at our chosen time each day.

Only two things: the wifi was rather unstable and didn't work reliably across the accommodation so we used more cellphone data than expected and the pillows were a bit hard for our taste. I'm sure they would have been changed if we'd asked.

The location is excellent and allowed us to see the city and hook up with several tours without any issue. there are not only attractions nearby but also coffee shops and great restaurants. The view from the balcony was amazing and will be something that will always be memorable for this trip. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The AC is practically non existent and the bed is very “flat” meaning that the pillows are not very fluffy and the bed was a bit rigid which made us toss and turn a little, throughout the night each night, especially without a noticeable AC. If you open the windows to cool the room at night you will be witness to the streets of Palermo which will run annoyingly loud until 3:00 am. For these reasons, I would probably not stay here again. I am not good at sleeping in extremely warm, noisy places and while the reviews proved otherwise, it was not a good assessment. Wi-Fi was a bit spotty throughout and I also had one workday where the internet caused issues which was vey tough.

Excellent Management and Services, willing to help us with any request and information of the area and transportation. The Facility is very modern, with spacious rooms, very clean, and with a balcony to the street (and no noise coming inside) looking to the beautiful Theater Massimo and the Plaza Verdi. Service was able to be bilingual with the English. Very central location to access most places in town by walking. Entrance is a big old Porta door on Via Cavour 10m for the corner with Via Maqueda. Just ring the bell to the office. There is an elevator , ""keep separade from the 2 dors sensors """, Push floor 1, then go down stairs to the Porta Maqueda B&B.

For the Porta Maqueda B&B ,it is a facility with High Standards for Italy. "But just related with arriving by train" It took longer to walk from the Train Station to the B&B since Google started with "going arounds" intead de let us take Via Maqueda all the way up.

A beautiful little 5 room BnB at one end of the pedestrian zone of Via Maqueda, with balconies looking facing Teatro Massimo. Easy to walk to all the attractions in central Palermo. The staff is wonderful, and you can order your preferences for breakfast, including eggs as well as fruit, cornetti, meats, cheeses and other continental staples.

If you like to turn in early, be aware that street musicians play every night in the area in front of the theater, sometimes until very late. The balcony doors are acoustically very tight but they aren’t quite up to an end-of-show drum set solo!

A wonderful B&B set in an old 'place' or mansion. the staircase to it, and the rooms themselves are very grand, with some lovely old doors. The whole apartment has been very well modernised with new floors and everything painted white. The bathroom was modern and trendy, and the little dining room spotless and fun. The location could not have been better, right opposite the Teatro Massimo.

A small point: I would like to have had more than one set of keys for the three of us.

Everything was great. The staff were very responsive to our late booking and without any issues we were checked in and settled. The room was very spacious with two balconies overlooking the Theatro Massimo. The room facilities were great, large comfy bed, fridge/minibar, wardrobe, desk, television and large bathroom with shower. Everything was spotless. The breakfast each morning was great we enjoyed the extra offer of the hot scrambelled egg dish. We stored our luggage without issue which was great as we had a late flight. Staff readily available and great spot if looking for a clean, safe and comfy stay in Palermo centre.

There was nothing we could fault, everything was great.

Location was excellent, breakfast was very nice.

Stairs were a shock as we had chosen this accommodation because of the statement that a lift was available BUT, the lift takes you up to the floor above then a flight of stairs down to the accommodation is required. This was not noted in any reviews at the time of our booking nor on Booking.com. Saying this, this didn’t deter from an enjoyable experience.

Staff is exceptionally kind and most helpful. Thank you, Giusy. All assistance provided at any time is much appreciated. You cant expect better location if you are looking for the very central Palermo.

Lift. It is rather bold to suggest that hotel is accessible by elevator. There is an elevator, but it is not reaching hotel itself. Being in central Palermo, get prepared for the noise of the party and traffic overnight.

The location was perfect as we were able to walk to the main sights and did not have to rely on public transportation. Additionally we felt extremly safe in the neighbourhood which was a major concern when looking for an accomodation.

The only issue we had were the beds as they were a bit uncomfy but that is obviously a very subjective matter.
