Dharma Boutique Hotel & SPA

I stayed here as a solo traveler last month, I apologise to the hotel I did non have the time to leave the review last month and dropped it yesterday, after the incredible experience I had me an my family had to return here so we booked 2 rooms in October, I must say it doesn't get better than this, the hotel is amazing, from the rooms to the rooftop, patio , breakfast (don't even get me started 🥞) to the amazing staff Colorado, Raffaele , Gianluca , Maura ,Abre , to the amazing location the hotel is situated in (in Monti district, which is not a tourist trap but still 10 minutes walking distance to the Colosseum, 15 minutes walking distance to the Trevi fountain , 20 minutes walking distance to the Pantheon , Navona square and Spanish steps, a four star hotel with a five star service , ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was without a doubt one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. All of the staff were exceptional, the rooms were amazing (we stayed in 2 gorgeous rooms!) and the location was perfect. Close to many of the main sites without being too touristy. Great bars, little laneways, and incredible restaurant recommendations from the hotel. But the most wonderful thing of all was the staff. Colorado, Paolo and Gianluca were AMAZING. So helpful with anything/everything we needed. We loved them. Highly recommend having breakfast on the rooftop one day, weather permitting. Also be sure to visit the rooftop at Terrazza Borromini!! (Thanks Paolo!!) We love you all and we’ll be back!! Jess & Adam.

The members of staff have all been extremely friendly and helpful, smily, polite : excellent. The room was of decent size, really quiet, and also really clean. Location is pretty good, there's a metro station literally 1min away. Even if not super central you're within walking distance of Colosseo, Piazza di Spania, and lots of other spots. And the neighbourhood is not extremely touristy so it adds to the charm. The terrace is quite nice to chill at the end of the day, and even if there is no bar up there, you can order a coffee or drinks and just keep it cool.

Our room was fairly dark but it's not like we visited Rome to stay in the room so that's OK. The storage in the room could be a little more practical (more than hangers and 2 meter high shallow cupboard). But really these are minor inconveniences. I think the real disappointment comes from the breakfast that is not exactly up to the standard for that price range.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay with them exceptional. Our taxi from the cruise port dropped us off 3 blocks from the hotel and said all we needed to do was walk down this alley that the taxi could not enter. The alley ended at the top of about 50 steep stairs. My husband and I are both 70 years old and we had luggage for a month's vacation in Europe. We would not even attempt to descend the very steep stairs on our own. I went down the stairs and found the hotel another block away. When I explained to the nice lady at the hotel our problem, she immediately sent someone with me back up the hill and they carried our luggage all the way back to the hotel. Then she insisted we relax and enjoy a delicious breakfast. When we finished, she had us all checked in and our luggage waiting for us in our room. They made a very stressful situation for us, completely disappear. We felt so pampered, and our entire stay was perfect in every way. The morning we had to leave to go to the airport at 6:30, they had someone come in early (at 6:00) just to prepare breakfast for us because their breakfast begins at 7:00. At 6:30 they had a taxi waiting for us to go to the airport. We will always recommend this hotel as the BEST in Rome.

I cannot think of one thing that I did not like about this beautiful hotel.

Staff - super kind and helpful. Special thanks to Daniela, Antonio & Giorgio at the reception who went abive and beyond to help with every request and question. Location - great neighborhood, good resturants and gelato within walking distance. Close to main attractions (10-15 min to most of them). Metro station one min away. Room was spotlessly clean Breakfast tasty and of high quality.

Nothing, just important to mention, boutique hotel, therefore, small, including the elevator and stairs to roof garden, less recommended for claustrophobic people. Other than that highly recommended.

We stayed at Dharma for four nights, and we had a fantastic time. The hotel is in one of the best spots in the city, where you can find unique places to eat and shop nearby. We were really please with the spacious room and the attention to detail from the service. The hotel pays a lot of attention to cleaning ness as anyone would expect from an excellent hotel. Breakfast served is very well made and with great variety. Make sure to arrange a private spa; it is worth it as it also has a sauna and steam bath. Finally, the staff is friendly and helpful with a great attitude to help make the best out of your journey. Till next time Dharma.

Breakfast was delicious! Location was a little hard to find, but once located it's easy to spot. The building is tiny. That's not really a complaint. I'm just an American used to larger.

I'm nitpicking here, but my room was tiny. I could've used a little more space. Additionally, the edges on the shower doors were all messed up and didn't close properly. Again, I'm pointing out small problems here.

We loved this hotel and its location. The staff are very friendly and always there to answer any questions. The room was a very nice size comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were so gracious. They saw how tired we were and immediately offered us coffee and because our room was available they allowed us to check in early. They literally couldn't do enough for us. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Rome.

The hotel has 13 rooms only which means more of a personal touch from the staff, especially Paolo who was very helpful & professional. Location was central and within easy walking distance to most of the tourist sights & nearby restaurants. Room was well equipped with Nespresso coffee machine & mini bar. Bed & pillows very comfortable and air-con great. We were in Room 403 on the 4th floor and we heard no noise from outside. Bathroom was lovely & shower very good. There is a small gym & spa which you need to book in for the spa. The roof terrace was great to have & you can text/WhatsApp the staff for anything & they will sort it out. Housekeeping done very well, everything well clean.

I wish we could rank 11!!! The staff is a bunch of wonderful people who did above and beyond to please us. Just to give an example - we forgot the “do not disturb” sign on, and returned to a messy room. our fault. but Antonio happily made sure that by the time we return from dinner the room was set!! So we want to thank you all: - Antoni - for the warm welcome every day, the help in reservations of the best restaurants at strange hours, and for giving us a homey feeling - Daniela - for the smart and detailed recommendations, and for taking the time to understand us and what we want to do. you were our travel guide :) - Fabio - for welcoming us each night, and making sure we have everything we need. Who can be so nice past midnight? - and last but not least - Maura - for remembering our coffee and food preferences, giving us a VIP service, and sending us full every day. The place is great, close to the metro and 20 min walk from the center. The neighborhood is charming, young, and vibrant with great restaurants in less than 5 min walk (even after you drink…) The room is big and modern, breakfast is very rich and tasty. Can’t wait to come back!
