Hotel Verona Rome

Great location near the railway station and within easy walking distance of the city centre, Roman Forum, etc, with good eating option close by in the Monti district. Nicely appointed rooms which are spotlessly clean and a decent breakfast for the price. Friendly, help staff. This is a great, value for money option (€80 per night) you like classic small Italian hotels.

As with many of this kind of hotel in Italy, stairs and corridors are marble floored... this can make things very noisy when more inconsiderate guests come back late at night. If you are a light-sleeper, bring ear-plugs.

Location, ten minute walk to the Colosseum, breakfast was lovely & a great selection too. Staff were really nice & most helpful. Room was clean, small but adequate. Cleaned daily, with fresh towels. Bathroom had a shower & toiletries were included.

Disappointed that the hotel allowed youngsters to run around each others rooms causing a lot of noise, especially when we had an early start to get to the airport.

The location and value was excellent. My colleague and I stayed for one night in Rome and were able to access Termini easily as well as the surrounding activities/ sights in the city center. The room was small, but perfect for one night. Very clean.

The shower drain did not work properly. I am sure if we had brought it to the attention of the staff, they would have helped quickly.

Good location, very central, good transport links. Staff very helpful. Lovely city view from balcony.

Limited lift access and no porter, so had to lug bags up and down 2 flights of stairs. Very small bath. Card-entry system for breakfast meant going down to reception every morning to get card, then back up to 1F to eat

Good location between Roma Termini and Coliseum; Room was comfortable and had a good size; We left and forgot some cables, staff was nice to hold them for us for a few days.

The double bed was in fact 2 single mattresses that fell apart during the night - you woke up in the morning in-between the mattresses; It was not clear when I booked that breakfast was not included in the rate.

The hotel was clean and tidy and towels changed everyday. The aircon worked well which was very welcome. However the fridge didn't work properly, we were out a lot so it didn't bother us too much. The location is very good,.a nice pizzeria next to the hotel and a gelatario at the end of the road.

fresh breakfast, italian style: coffee/ tea, croissant and 2 slices of bread with cheese and some salami/ ham. Maybe breakfast was better before COVID time - continental type as described on the website the hotel is very close to the Termini station there are many beautiful places to visit nearby and many restaurants very polite staff the room was clean

Good value for money. good space with good elimination of light and sound from the windows. Add in the comfortable bed and air conditioning and we slept very well. Can't really say much of anything bad about it. It's not the fanciest place, but it had everything I need so the price/value is really good.

AC didn't work first night but was repaired. Our last night there was an issue with a fuse so no lights

The attention of the person at reception very good...I like the breakfast.

Just the elevator not working at 2dn day of my reservation and we're located in 4th floor...but still been one of favorites hotel in Rome.
