Doria Palace Boutique Hotel

This hotel has been updated around 1 year ago. Everything is new and clean. The room was extremely comfortable and spacious. Also very quiet as there are only maybe 3 or 4 rooms on each floor. The beautiful lady at reception (Roxana) went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. She was so friendly and accomodating and nothing was too much trouble for her. She even arranged a complimentary wine as we were staying on our honeymoon. The breakfast on the rooftop is great, with plenty of different options and friendly lady who will make you a coffee and help with anything you ask for. The location is only 7-10 minute walk from termini station so great for getting around. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is in a very strategic spot, very close to Colloseum ( a wonderful 10 minute walk through park) and to Termini Station. In Via Merulana you will also find the most ancient bakery of Rome.The room was very clean and modern, a wonderful bathroom, on the 4th floor and had peace and quiet. Close to the hotel you will find vittorio emannuele metro station and in only a few stops you will find your self at Fontana di Trevi, Vatican, Piaza di Popollo, etc. Damiano welcomed us with a big smile on Saturday wheras Roberta and Roxana answered all our questions prior our stay and helped me organise a small birthday surprise for my husband. They assisted me to find a pharmacy close to the hotel and let us drop our bags there on the day we were leaving to be stress free! We will visit them again soon!

Our room was spacious! Which was an amazing surprise. Super clean and tidy. The staff is exceptional. Thank you Joseph for making our stay so comfortable and making sure we had everything we needed. Rosana was also extra nice and helpful. Highly recommended! Would definitely come back.

Amazing staff Roxanne was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to make sure we had a good time. Great location and once again staff made it very easy to navigate. The hotel is really small which is great because it gives staff less to worry about.

The gluten free breakfast was slightly limited. The distance to some monuments were quite far. Would definitely recommend using Metro or electric scooters around.

The hotel is very well located. We could reach everything walking. The metro station was close, so was the central train station (about 10 minute walk). The breakfast was very good with fresh fruit and fresh pastries. It is a very cost-effective solution to stay in Rome. All you need it so sleep well and be central in Rome. The windows isolated the street noise 100%.

The hotel was ideally located and had an excellent view of the Basilica Papale di Santa Maria Maggiore! Loved the rooftop, the breakfast was good and sufficient and I really enjoyed it. Roxana at the reception was amazing and so incredibly helpful. She was able to secure me a reservation at La Carbonara for dinner, which is a place I really wanted to go to. I also enjoyed my late night drink at the rooftop bar so overall a good experience and a pleasant stay. Lastly, I asked for a late checkout last minute and the hotel was quite accommodating, which I really appreciated since my flight out was later in the afternoon.

The lift was too tiny and being claustrophbic, I could not use it. Climbing stairs for 4 floors and then going up and down was not the most pleasant experience. That was the only thing I did not like about the property but I also don't know that there is a way to change it.

A silent cool oasis in an otherwise busy, chaotic, loud and hot city that is still charming and fascinating. The location is perfect, the rooftop terrace for breakfast fantastic, the staff was so nice and friendly, room 203 just perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and if we ever come back to Rome we will stay there again!!!

Doria Palace is a wonderful small hotel, located 5 minutes walk from Termini. Perfect location to explore the city, close to metro station. Breakfast was served on the roof top of the hotel, small but cosy, that only worked in the morning hours. They let you choose between two options for breakfast: international or italian menu. Our room was on third floor, facing the inner yard and it was super quiet. Beds were big with hard matress and a bit hard pillows, still providing quality sleep. Room was cleaned daily. Bathroom was spacious and clean, as the room was. Staff were very professional. We thank Roxana for giving us tips not only for places to see and how to get there, but also for suggesting nice restaurants, and assisting us with getting tickets for attractions.

It is a special boutique hotel, few rooms, very comfortable. The staff was very friendly, professional and willing to help. The tips they gave us upgraded our trip. The rooms were clean, very nicely decorated and comfortable. There were only 3 rooms in the floor, so it was very quiet. The rooftop was beautiful! An amazing surprise to open the morning with, and the breakfast included many different types of food and very tasty. Would came back again next time!

The elevator is small, as indicated in other reviews. We went up by foot,but its totally worth it.

Very friendly staff, you come in the hotel and they are all smiles. Very helpful too, every question we had they were ready to help us out in every way possible. You’ll feel comfortable once you go in the hotel. The elevator is small but it does fit one person with their luggage, and for the stairs if you go on them they are clean and not long so you won’t feel tired. (we were on the second floor, and we didn’t feel anything). The room is very clean, our room had a balcony and the view was breathtaking when looking at the right you will see Saint Maria Maggiore. The sunset and sunrise were worth it. The air conditioning was working perfectly,beds and bathroom were super clean and everyday there was house cleaning which was amazing. The breakfast was on the rooftop where you can eat and enjoy the beautiful view, you can go either by stairs which felt like nothing or by elevator. The breakfast variety was great, croissants plain or with jam or chocolate or with cold meats and cheese which was amazing and they have eggs boiled or scrambled with fresh fruits and yogurt. The lady working at the rooftop is adorable and very helpful. Overall, our experience was amazing, every single person working there were very helpful, very understanding and smiley. The location of the hotel was close to the termini and all around us were restaurants. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality, next time we visit rome we will for sure come back here without a doubt❤️
