This property is directly across from St. Mary Major in walking distance to Termini. The staff of this family owned property were very accommodating. They let us check in early, and permitted us to store our luggage on our last day after we checked out.

It’s a little too dark for exploring the neighborhood if you want to see at night. We had a scary experience with one shady character following us when we were out together; all three of us knew we were in a targeted situation. It is wonderful during the day, but I would never venture out at night alone around the neighborhood.

I loved the location of Domus Liberius. As a female, solo traveler I felt very safe getting to and from the property. Close to all the main attractions yet away from the crowds of people. My single room was small yet felt roomy with the high, dome-like ceilings. The bathroom was updated and spacious. The host was friendly and imparted a great sightseeing route around the city that was so worth it.

The common area could have been more inviting. It was unusual to have a space away from the room to sit and lounge, and a big bonus to have a kitchen area to make something hot to drink. However, I feel that a different furniture setting would improve the use of the space.

The location was perfect for us. We traveled to Rome by train and the hotel was positioned right between the Termini train station and the Colosseum and the rest of the main sights in the city. It's a very walkable city and everything seems really close. We didn't opt for breakfast so I can't comment on that. The rooms are large with a few common areas which we didn't use because we mostly roamed the city. We felt comfortable in our room only the beds were a little too soft for our liking. But that's irrelevant. There was a large TV and an AC which was great! Bathroom was large too and well equipped, there's even a hair dryer! Each of us got a small shower gel and plenty of towels. The staff were available through WhatsApp and we needed them upon our arrival when we didn't know how to use the numerous doors, they were very responsive and we solved everything quickly. I'd come again here.

The walls are too thin and we heard people going to the bathroom in the middle lf the night. Beds were too soft for our liking but we were tired anyway and it wasn't really an issue.

The location is wonderful. It is directly across the street from the beautiful Santa Maria Maggiore and close to bus stops and taxi stands. Look at a map to see if it is near the sights you most want to visit. The staff is super helpful, offering us an umbrella on a rainy day and help on an early morning exit.

I am disabled but can walk a little. I did not realize when booking that there would be several stairs. The negotiation was difficult but not impossible for me. More severely disabled would find it very difficult. There is no breakfast. You must purchase a voucher for a nearby cafe. I suggest you forgo this and find a nearby cafe on your own.

What a fantastic location, property and service. The staff couldn't do enough to help us during our stay and even travelled into the city on their day off to help me open the safe my son had locked by accident. They were so lovely and the property is amazing. The perfect place to stay in Rome. Everything was so nearby and the beds couldn't have been comfier. There was a lovely cafe next door where the staff were so nice. Across the road there was a fantastic cocktail bar where the staff were so friendly

Spacious place, lots of door to get in but thats the way Rome is. location was good close by walking to main locations 15-25 minutes which is not bad. View of the church and the bells felt like a true Roma home.

beds were a little uncomfortable but clean and AC worked well.

The location of this B&B was amazing. so close to everything and easily accessible via walking or bus. The room was very clean and comfortable and we had a great view from our room.

Unfortunately the facilities were a little stressful for us. There was only tea making facilities in the communal kitchens, but no cutlery, cups, glasses etc. There were no pots, pans, utensils to cook with if we wanted to. We accidentally put sparkling water in the kettle as we didnt realise it wasnt regular bottled water. The instant coffee wasnt great tasting and there was no tea bags- only lemon herbal tea. We noticed in another area of the B&B that there were mugs and glasses in another communal kitchen but they were locked behind a glass cabinet.

It is so central and in a convenient location for exploring Rome. The rooms are modern, clean and simple. Getting into the building was complicated and the code didn’t work the first time I tried it, however I appreciated how secure it was with five doors requiring a security pass between the street and my room.

The water pressure is terrible and would often run cold in the shower, and the air conditioner would often turn itself off and I would wake in the night sweating. These things are manageable but there were often people having loud conversations in the hallway outside my door late at night or early in the morning and the door isn’t thick enough to block it out.

everything from the location of the hotel to having the ability to come and go at all hours. having the access fob was amazing so we could also enjoy the nightlife of Rome. exceptional rooms with fantastic shower room, the beds were massive and very comfortable and there was also a TV for those times we wanted to just chill out.

due to the pandemic the breakfast part of our stay was closed, nothing to do with the hotel that is purely the current Covid pandemic. the walls are a little thin and I could hear next door use the facilities very clearly.

Quiet, cosy room. The bathroom was great but more shelving to put out your toiletries would be helpful.

Finding the place. When you first arrive and everything is different a more obvious sign to show the entrance to the building. Even the taxi driver wasn't sure, he had the right address till we saw the small sign near a closed big door.
