Ginevra Palace Hotel

All of the receptionists were helpful, kind and knew what they were doing. the room was great, we had a balcony and a nice, spacious room. The restaurant in the evening was really nice. The food was good value and very good quality, so thank you very much to the chef who cooked our meals! I had the Cacio e pepe and my partner had the mushroom pasta and these were two examples of wonderful cooking. The breakfast was nice and the staff here were very attentive and helpful. Thank you to all of the staff that were helping here.

There was a morning where the hot water wouldn’t work for the shower. after a couple of hours the hot water finally came on. It wasn’t a major problem but just something to be aware of. if we are being fussy, pre variety for the breakfast would have been nice. apart form that, we had a very enjoyable experience all round.

The hotel is very nice, the breakfast is good.

Parking in the hotel is not free. Parking is free on the street if you can find a space.

Breakfast was poor

Overall the hotel was very good. Comfortable, modern, and very convenient. What I appreciated the most was the staff's hospitality towards me. I totally recommend it and whenever I'll travel to Rome again, I probably won't change it.

The towels were not changed in the bathroom, maybe I should have asked that for, anyhow. Although there was a TV, it didn't play any programs and only YouTube was available. I couldn't start the refrigerator working, it was there but off.

The staff in this hotel is so helpful and nice. They gave us map with places that are worth visiting, told us where are the nearest bus stops and answered all our questions. Room was very clean and nice. Hotel is located in silent street, so there was no noise at all. Breakfast had several food options to choose from - salty/sweet options. We really enjoyed our stay here and we would recommend it! :)

For somebody the disadvantage could be location, because hotel is not located in the city center, but for us it was advantage, because we could see more local and not that touristically popular streets of Rome.

The room was nice and clean. Stuff at the hotel was extremely helpful and friendly. They can help with the transfer to airport. Also they have a free transfer to the nearest metro station till afternoon, which is very comfortable.

Breakfasts at the hotel are monotonous, without fruits and vegetables at all. Towels dryers and hair dryer didn't work properly.

Breakfast was pretty good. The coffee machines were great. The room for the price (we paid £50/night) was a pretty good deal and the rooms were fine. A little small but good for the price.

The AC in our room for the first day gave us issues. It appeared to be able to adjust from our room but in actuality you had to request the front desk to adjust the AC for you. However, our AC in our room was so poor that we would wake up in a puddle of our sweat. The management was nice enough to move us to another room with no difficulty at all. So that was nice. Another thing I didn't like is that the room keycard needs to be inserted into a slot in the wall to provide power to the room. So if you leave the room, any power to the outlets is cut off. I was relying on charging my battery power banks while I leave and come back to a full charge. No big deal but it wasn't ideal.

The staff was amazing. They were recently renovating the rooms. The rooms are excellent. One of the most comfortable beds ever. The room was huge with everything you needed. The cleaner was coming every day to clean. The breakfast was delicious. You have free shuttle bus to the metro station nearby or you could walk there. Excellent value for money. Didnt regret choosing it, even though it wasnt in the city center.

it was clean, the staff were helpful and friendly, we arrived about 4 hours late due to delay arriving around 2am and there was no fuss, just got us in our room as quick as possible. the beds were comfy and we got a good sleep. it’s about a 15/20 min walk from the metro and on that line you can get to any of the big sights you’d want to see without changing. there is free parking if you need it. there’s air conditioning and a tv in rooms.

there was no toaster at breakfast.
