Aurelius Art Gallery Hotel

Hello ! Everything was perfect at Aurelius Art Gallery Hotel . It`s very close to Cornelia metro station . The staff is very friendly and helpful. Its VFM is ok. the room was spacious and even it was in e noisy area dhe double windows were soundproof. The temperature in the room was ok. there was a small fridge to keep your water fresh. The place is decorated with art works so you get in that mood of an exceptional tour in the art history of Rome.

Nothing serious. The room has all the needed facilities except slippers for the bathroom. It would be really great if there were a bottle of water in the fridge for the welcoming.

Hotel looks so good inside that it absolutely doesn't fit to the surrounding area. If it only had some kind of yard, it would be absolutely great, but either way it was more than a good choice for a short trip to Rome. Air condition worked properly, everything was clean and bathroom very spacious. In any case - a great choice for a good rest with no noise. If you wander around Rome on the last day before catching your plane, there is no problem with leaving your suitcase at the reception and pick it up afterwards. Vicinity of bus and metro station are crucial, and also you have Ipercoop supermarket just accross the street. Additional tip: who wants to cool themselves, there are two pools nearby, in and next to Hu! Roma Camping site. 15 minutes by bus.

Surrounding neighborhood is not very appealing, but maybe that was the impression under enormous heat in the days I was there (so maybe I was more critical than usual). There seems to be a lot of trash in the streets, but maybe that's just Rome in any neighborhood. The pavement for pedestrians seemed pretty narrow to me in the street where the hotel is, so maybe not suitable for wheelchairs or bigger baby carriage.

Entering the hotel is quite an experience on its own as you go from a very busy area with from time to time heavy car traffic into a peaceful place decorated with antic statues! Aurelius Art Gallery does really deserve its name. The owner seems to have a passion for high quality old ancient statues and and furnitures, and he succeeded in creating a truly unique environment. It just really nice! When it comes to the staff, nothing more to say that they are just exceptional and service minded. They help you all the way and are very friendly and accommodating.

The view was great, the terrace was spacious, the cleaning was immaculate even when we left a bit of a mess on days we rushed out. The location is ideal, the metro is round the corner and not a long ride to get to the centre of Rome. We also could just hop on the bus stop right outside. There is no task that is too much for the staff, they set standards way beyond the price point of this hotel. Also, I absolutely adored the whole decor of the place. The WiFi was perfect for relaxing at night.

Hotel security is excellent. The staff are always smiling and courteous and Elmer, the property manager, was welcoming and accommodating in every way. He arranged our ride to the airport upon leaving and through the hotel we received 10% discount at Joseph ristorante, one of the finest steak houses located nearby. Upon checkout we learned the hotel was booked in full and definitely would stay there again.

Me and my parents we really enjoyed to stay in Aurelius Art Gallery Hotel. Defenetely it was an Amazing Experience! Friendly Staff, Helpful with All Directions, SUPER Clean, Perfect Location (we didn' use any transport to get to famous places Coliseu , fontana de trevi, Vaticano, we were getting there by walk). We bring a lot of Wonderful memories about Rome back home. BIG Thank you Aurelius Art Gallery Hotel for making our trip feel like at home. We will come back.

The room was a good size and had two bathrooms. The pullout sofa was not that comfortable, but what can you expect from a pullout? The hotel was very clean, and the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. I would have liked breakfast included, although the staff introduced me to a most delightful coffee shop about a five-minute walk away. The location wasn't bad. It would be nice to be closer to the attractions, but if it weren't so hot, we might have been more inclined to walk further, and it was a very reasonably priced hotel.

The pullout could have been more comfortable, and it could have included breakfast, although once I found the coffee shop I probably would have gone there instead anyway because it was delicious.

- Beautifully decorated hotel. Bed was super comfortable with black out curtains. AC could be adjusted to your preference. The bathroom was also super spacious. - The reception people were amazing. Very friendly and had genuine service minds. Got useful tips how to get to all the landmarks of Rome from the hotel. - Superb location. Metro station (Cornelia) and bus stops (both normal and the airport one - we used SIT shuttle) only 2 minutes away.

- One thing to note is that it is possible to hear your neighbors from the hallway.This is all up to chance, and we were just slightly unfortunate. If you get good mannered neighbors, then this would not be a problem.

We had a room with a terrace (3rd floor). The room was exactly as described and matched the pictures. From the door, you entered the room directly, in the room there was a separate bathroom with shower, then there was a small saloon with mini fridge and table and chairs and from there, you could get out on a huge terrace, half covered, with outdoor furniture and view over the street. There was another room with terrace next to us, but it was divided by fence and covered. The room and premises were big enough, bed was comfortable. The room was cleaned daily and on the third day, bed sheets were changed also. Cleaning was spotless and it smelled very nice. No cockroaches or ants were encountered during our stay. There was no noise from outside as the windows were insulating well enough. AC was working without a problem - there was a built-in in the bedroom and a wall-mounted unit in the saloon - both operated separately. The decor is unique, there are statutes and paintings emulating roman period. Some say its weird, but we personally liked it. Reception was very helpful, we arrived very late, but there is a live-in person, who is always at disposal, if needed. There are several gates to get in, operated by an entrance card, that opened the room also. There was no food option. However, there is a MC Donalds on the corner (1 min walking) and right across the street, there is a grocery store called COOP, opened daily 07:00 - 20:00. There is a metro station - line A (red) - approx. 3 min walking (past the MC Donalds). Ticket 100 min costs 1,5 euro. Metro operates from 05:30 until 23:00 every day. Overall, it over-exceeded our expectations, as there is a very limited supply of good and trusted accommodation in this price range in Rome.

On the terrace, there were no chair covers and it was little bit uncomfortable to sit on the outdoor furniture. Location is little remote, metro until Termini was approx. 25 min ride. There is a lot of trash everywhere in the whole city of Rome, a real shame!

The first we arirved in the Room the beds are more for small Tinny people from the China Japan..but :::Problem the Television was not working.I was hoping to see Sinner Italian, Player Tennis Rome ATP.Sad!!Next Day we were asked if we want An other Room!by Phone we were on the Road!!!Yes the Tv was allready on sport Channel!!Everything was moved upstaires by very gentle women and Elmer the man always helping at the Reception..We were in the Top off the Hotel with Roof Terras and VeW over Rome!!These beds were for Northern People of Europe!!We are from The Netherlands.Harry Speaking Iris like singing..The Telephone Manager was so very diasppointed at me ..but at the End I hope he Will be glad with the Points ..We gave the Hotel!!Now because I AM Watching Sinner in Parijs I answer the mail over the Hotel!!
