Hotel Astoria Garden

Great location close to Roma Termini. The staff very friendly, clean room with beautiful garden view. They let me store my baggague until check in and after check out. Breakfast was really good and at night, the restaurant was very nice.

The room and the bed were so small (tiny). Inside the room there was a quite loud noise like a elevator. In the morning the weather was very hot because there was no an AC.

The staff of the hotel is very nice and welcoming! They are willing to answer all your questions and go the extra mile for you 24/7, always with the greatest smile. A genuine compliment to the staff!! We thought the location was perfect, a 5-10min walk from the main train/metro station Termini, from which you can go in any direction you want. Trains to the beach also leave from here. The breakfast was small but good, contains some bread, eggs and bacon, some cheese and ham, yoghurt and of course the cornetti and some other pastries. The room was fine, the bathroom had clearly been renovated with a new shower and was looking clean and perfect. As other reviews already said, furniture in the rooms is a little outdated, but that should not spoil the fun. And the garden with fruit trees that provide for lots of shadow is very nice! It makes it possible to still be able to have breakfast outside without melting in the sun around this time of the year.

Only minor point is the fact that the rooms are not being cleaned in the meantime (bed is made up tho). Especially since we stayed for a whole week, it would have been nice if the floor would have been cleaned during the stay. So be aware, if you go to the beach and your whole room is full of sand, your room will stay sandy for the rest of your stay. Also the cleaning lady put our clean towels in the toilet multiple times (no idea why), which led us to have wet towels from the toilet... and us having to ask for new towels before we could shower. But the staff is so kind, they would get us clean towels with the biggest smile!

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is very close to Termini train station.

The heating in the room is centrally controlled. It was too warm and the only way to cool it was to open the window. This is a waste of energy and also the noise from the street could not be kept out. The light above the shower was out and the toilet paper holder was hanging from the wall. These were fixed when we reported them but really they should have been fixed before guests arrived. The shower is tiny, one can barely turn around in it. At least this was the case in our room. It might be different in other rooms. The hotel building is nice, it has a lovely inner garden and it was generally clean but it needs a deep clean, the walls need painting, the carpets on the stairs need changing and the furniture seemed quite old as well. The mattress definitely needs changing.

I like the location. It is convenient and easy to find. The staff and the hotel is quite generous because they upgraded me. The garden is pleasing to the eyes.

The room is quite old in style which you still need to use keys to open. It is hard to use. There is no variety on the breakfast.

Excellent location few minutes away from Termini station. Staff were great on everything. very helpful and friendly. the back garden is just amazing, cozy and relaxed atmosphere. beautiful banana threes and palm threes as well as lemon and oranges. bar staff were also great and always helpful. we celebrated new year there and they made the effort to even light up some fireworks for us clients. The rooms were nice and clean and cleaned on every morning. the cleaning stuff were always there if you need anything. On arrival we were surprised by the bottle of Prosecco waiting for us in the room. Thank you very much for everything.

The hotel was really nice, Mr Mohamed at the reception was very helpful and friendly, location was great as it is a walking distance from Rome Termini, the hotel was quite, clean, and has a very nice backyard with lovely garden, breakfast was good

the hotel was a bit old, but the room we had was newly refurbished, we had an issue with the main bed as other hotels attach two single beds, but these single beds were not attached well and a gab was created during sleeping. furniture needs to be upgraded, specially bed sheets and covers.

I found breakfast very good, location brilliant as you are alongside Termini train station only 4-5 min walk from the hotel. Nice little garden inside hotel, lovely and friendly barmen, great place to rest in the evening, after loads of walking around Rome...Comfortable bed in the room, fine to stay especially for short journey...

Room quite small, everything kind of feel old enough...Everything was working, nothing broken and i did not find much problems, as i use to comeback only to sleep...

You can just WALK from the hotel to basically all important places that are probably on your to-see list (and take a bus to the couple of more distant ones). We liked that there was enough of hot water in the bathroom as well as proper heating in the room (it was about zero degrees outside!).

Beds could be a bit wider and walls thicker, but both was good enough for us, especially considering the low price we paid. Also, breakfast was rather monotonous (but we didn’t want anything else, anyway).

I liked location of this hotel, staff was very friendly. The garden amazing.

There was no any vegetables during the breakfast, all days was the same meal, so it was boring in the and of our stay. The hotel says that can provide additional bed for babies, but it cost 20 per night, in fact they do not provide bed for babies, but only couch where you can not left baby to sleep. So we had our touristic bed and it was cheaper to pay for airlines for this baggage than to hotel for useless bed.

Happy to stay at this hotel - amazing staff, nice breafkfast and great location. People at the reception desk were so supportive, Peter from restaurant provided us with such a positive atmosphere and cool music - I hope he will read that he is the best. And special attention I want to put on the garden, lovely place with trees, foutain, bushes. Strongly recommend to stay there and enjoy vacation.
