Hotel Royal Court

The beds were super comfy and the rooms were super clean. The place is very close to the Termini central train station and also to the main attractions in Rome.

There was no kettle, tea, or coffee in the rooms. Also, water bottles were not there. We paid a lot of money for two nights (nearly 1073 EUR for 4 people including breakfast) and I believe that these basic facilities need to be available for the guests. The breakfast room is situated on the ground floor and it is a very small space. There was no breakfast buffet. When we checked in, the guy at the reception told us that we need to book a time for the breakfast beforehand to make sure that the guests keep a distance due to Corona. However, we realized that was not the case. The real reason was that their breakfast room is not big enough for all the guests. So, I have to say that it doesn't worth the money (Breakfast was not free, we paid for the breakfast).

We had a really lovely stay at the Royal Court. The staff were just so nice and helpful, we couldn't fault them. There was an issue with pre-authorising our credit card to hold our booking the week before we were due to arrive, but they still held the room for us (which was amazing considering we had it booked for 7 nights!). On arrival we got checked in quite quickly. Our room was spacious, with enough closet space for what we packed for a week, plus a good sized bathroom, with both shower and bath. Bed was really comfortable too. TV was set up with access to Netflix and other streaming services, so not just local TV stations. Air con worked well too. Breakfast options were very good and seemed to cater for all tastes. The breakfast room was much larger than I expected, going by some other reviews and photos (would fit up to 20 or 22 people sitting). The staff on duty at breakfast each morning were very helpful, friendly and polite. We had to book our breakfast time for each morning, which wasn't an issue. You could do this at reception the previous day, or send a whatsapp, very easy. Location was super. Just a 5 minute walk to Termini station, but far enough away to be away from all the hustle and bustle around the station. Some really good restaurants within a few minutes walk too (we loved La Lupa, great food and lovely staff). Honestly can't fault the hotel or staff, we really enjoyed our stay there while visiting Rome.

when we arrived to the hotel they informed us the room was in another building. even though the accommodation was fine, I think they should let me know about that before my arrival in order to choose if I wanted to stay in another building or not in terms of security reasons.

There was no tea/cofee maker in room despite being 4 Star hotel.This is ridiculous.

Just a 5 minute walk from Rome Termini station, this was a lovely boutique hotel spread over 3 floors. Travelled with my parents (almost in their 60s) and had two spacious double rooms. Air conditioning, comfortable beds, blackout curtains, traditional but clean fully-equipped bathrooms. Breakfast served 0645-1000 in the basement (and included in the price of our rooms) was scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals, fruit, toasts, pastries, yoghurts, coffee & tea. Luggage storage offered on checkout day. Plenty of restaurants in the neighbourhood. Found it easy to order Ubers to/from the hotel (between $17-27) and the Pantheon/Trevi areas.

No complaints. Would recommended and return.

it was about a mile and a half from the Trevi fountains and most of the key tourist sites.

lovely hotel with very friendly staff. breakfast was excellent as were the 2 x staff members that worked there during our stay the bed was very comfortable with extra pillows available on request. excellent location only couple of minutes walk from metro . will definitely stay here again

there was nothing that I disliked about this hotel . if I had to choose anything perhaps we felt the room a bit cramped with 2 extra so goes added for our children . didn’t feel it was a family room / quad room as advertised but it was fine and we were comfortable

The property was perfectly clean and full of Roman character. it was only a short walk from the central termini, and local shops and restaurants. Fantastic hotel, fantastic location! The room was great, the shower was perfect. Hot water was constant. The management also recommended two local restaurants (which were only a 5 min walk from the hotel), which were absolutely fantastic, authentic and great value for money.

The only criticism (and believe me that this is the only one) is that I felt the room could have been a little bigger

New, clean and very nice property close to the Termini. We do liked the bathroom. I would stay here again. Highly recommended!

I would recommend to be less formal and more client oriented in terms of keeping luggage some days after checking out and keeping pacels. Yes, I undersant that you don't have obligations to do that. But other hotels did that favour for us. We get used to this type of hospitality in Italy.Nevertheless, the hotel is very good.

Hotel very close to Termini Railway Station, 20-25 min walk to the Colloseum and 30 -40 min walk to other main attractions like Navona sq, Fontana di Trevi, Spanish steps, Pantheon, etc. I was surprised to see some bad reviews about the breakfast - there were lots of fruits and fruit salads present, youghurts, vegetable salads, boiled and fried eggs, bacon, salami, hams, croissants, cakes, tarts, cheese and drinks. The rooms were clean, the minibar had enough drink choices. The staff were nice and kind and helpful.

The internet is not very fast. Once or twice when we went back earlier in the afternoon the room was not set. I was robbed at the Metro so I warn tourists to be very careful at the crowded places, especially when you feel somebody is intentionally pushing you from behind. I saw many people like me at the police station. Police were slow and after waiting for a couple of hours the queue didn't move much so I gave up.
