Hotel Villa Delle Rose

Pleasant and helpful staff at reception -thank you Hotel is a lovely old Roman character building with garden courtyard -excellent location close to Termini Station and Bus station and walking to the city must see treasures not too far -our room surprisingly quiet and air/con efficient -we had a very warm week

The beds were rather hard but probably good for our backs. Not a big problem We had some gurgling noises after flushing the toilet that went on for some time before settling -not an issue except if used at night and sleep disturbed etc As we were there a week a kettle for tea and coffee making facilities would have been preferable. But what was offered on booking.com was promised

The staff was very nice and accommodating. They let us store our luggage since we got there early in the morning and got our room to us earlier then normal check in time. Loved how close it was to the train station. There was some nice restaurants near by as well that we im enjoyed.

It was a little out dated and could use a remodel and the shower was pretty small. The a/c didn’t work well but it wasn’t bad bc of the time of year we went but might be a problem in the warmer summer months.

Excellent location within 10 minutes walk from Termini Station. Booked 1 night per-cruise and 4 nights post cruise in triple occupancy room in May 2022. Room on first night was on first floor and was quite large. It had separate bedroom and living room with lots of windows. Requested a quieter room for our return four nights stay and we were given a room on the fourth floor. Although this room was smaller with no separate living room, we preferred as it was quieter, the bathroom was larger and it had hardwood floors instead of carpets. The desk clerks were very friendly, accommodating and polite and assisted with the request for a quiet room, making restaurant suggestions (Strata Romana for great food) and helped with printing of plane boarding passes. Breakfast was an additional 5 Euros per person and was excellent value as it included juices, coffee or cappuccinos, yoghurt, cereal, croissants, bread and rolls, cold cuts and cheese.

Carpet in room on first floor was worn and could use replacing. Room overlooked adjacent restaurant and was quite noisy because of this.

Very nice and tipical Italian breakfast, very nice and friendly stuff. Location is great for walking tours. Pleasant garden with seating area under the trees and flowers. There is an AC in the room which was great to cool the temperature.

The windows in the room was located very high so there was no view. We could change the room but finally stayed in the first room which was a good choice because it wasn't so hot.

I love being able to walk from the main station to the hotel. no hassle with buses, metro, taxis. lots of restaurants nearby (then again, there are lots of restaurants all over Rome). I really like the family who owns and operates the hotel. I like the late 19th century feel. I liked the view of the courtyard from my window. Note: I did not have their breakfast, but it looked like a good deal for € 5.

(1) I urge them to invest in Do Not Disturb/Make up Room signs. They said the maid would only come if I asked or if I left the hotel, but no one told that to the maid. (2) I urge them to invest in a vacuum cleaner. The maid just sweeps which picks up some dirt, but most hair and dust just gets moved around.

The hotel manager and staff were super generous and helpful in every way. It is a family hotel and it feels like it. The location is excellent, few minutes walk to the train station, metro. The neighborhood is a bit less clean, the rooms are basic, but the lobby is great and the hotel has a nice outdoor sitting place. Along with the hotel personnel, it compensates for the other things. I would surely choose it again.

The room we stayed in was very basic, noise from the street as it was ground floor, facing the street.

The location is very close to Termini Station. I had a room on the top floor with separate entrance and huge terrace overlooking the neighborhood. The stuff was very nice and helpful.

Room was clean with just one wall a little bit dirty next to the bed but it wasn't a problem. There was some roadworks on the street that was very noisy in the morning but it is only complain regarding the surrounding area.

very convenient hotel, very close to central station, staff were nice, breakfast was fine too but we needed to pay for it. very good for the families though it is little bit old.it is very good choice for short stay, would like to come again.

nothing , but toilet in ground floor was smelly and not good taken care of even to go wash hands or use for one time

It was close to train station and also walking distance to anywhere. Nice quiet street. Helpful and nice staff. Rooms are very basic and could use some new color and renovation. But it was ok, price was also cheap. Definitely would visit again.

Outside window was open when I checked in and I didn't notice. So it was freezing all night. It's also my fault that I didn't realize to check it. So all good. just maybe you should invest to some really good warm and soft blankets 🙂

The staff were so friendly and helpful. It was only a short walk from the centre which meant it was quiet but still close to the attractions. The accommodation included a small kitchen and washing machine too which was a life saver during a long trip!
