Hotel La Ville Rome

It was a quaint, boutique hotel where Lorenzo couldn’t do enough to help with anything we asked as front of desk or Massimo with anything in the bar or dining area. Rooms were unexpectedly large with luxury bathrooms & facilities you’d expect in a five star hotel. All the staff were so helpful to make our stay special. Hotel was spotless, the bed was a super king & there was ample of closet space, minibar & tea/coffee facilities.

This hotel is really nice place to stay. Everything is clean and new. Good interior design with fresh flowers in reception, which I consider to be important part of a good hotel. Breakfast always was very tasty with good variety of products. Every person who works there is kind, careful and attentive to our requests. We felt ourselves comfortable at this place and would to come back again.

The only thing which I didn't like is that I asked them to prepare some flowers to my wife (She had a birthday when we stayed there) and I was charged to pay for them on the check out. It was not a big problem I just think such issues should be discussed in advance but not on the check out. Everything else was great, Highly recommend this hotel!

It is a boutique hotel (20 rooms) opened a couple of months ago. We stayed in a superior double room: spacey, nicely furnished, however the bathroom is small. The bed is very big, and exceptionally comfortable. Good breakfast , very friendly staff, pleasant design.

The cleaning staff needs to do a better job. I found in my room a black (used) stocking under the hair dryer in the wardrobe. Obviously someone did not touch it, which is troublesome in the pandemic times- what about disinfecting the room?

Beautiful hotel, really cosy and extremely clean. The staff is very nice and helpful, made our experience so much better. The breakfast was quite well serviced. Plenty of options and generous. ( make sure to ask for veggies as its not their strong suit; they will provide it). The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was so clean snd nice ; a little kid would enjoy his night time routine. The cleaning service was excellent, the AC was very good, especially for Europe. All in all very accommodating hotel

Although i enjoyed my stay, 2 things really brought it down. 1- the hotel has the option of connected rooms. So we har to share a door with an adjacent room which was fine as the door was shut however the sound proofing was extremely bad. We could literally hear the other room breathe. And im sure they could do so too. So that really affected the privacy we needed. 2- i have mo clue why this happened but the room vibrated every now and then. Like a mini earthquake. Could be because of some metro below us or a tramway… i dont know but it was really troubling. Finally, the location although quiet and calm, is not easily reachable . This is not the hotels fault but the few stations around the hotel were mot well serviced and it was very hard to get around using public transports.

The property is beautifully done. Bathrooms , bedrooms and all general areas look like they have all recently had a lot of money lovingly invested I. Bringing this property to a very high standard. The restaurant on site was fine dining .. the ravioli and tiramisu we had the night we ate in was extremely good. The staff could not be any more helpful or accommodating. The hotel deserves to be full at all times .

The location was not as convenient to the tourist attractions as some other locations although the underground station was only a 10 minute walk away and extremely easy and inexpensive to use … Termini being 10 minutes , coliseum station 20 mins and Vatican station 30 mins so all doable

Breakfast: o.k. Location: perfect. Staff: friendly. Room: comfortable. Shower: too narrow. Bathroom items: high level.

The restaurant's costs are surprising (not a good one). You think, You get something free (little baked goods before dinner, some cookies to the drink in the bar), but no, You must pay for everything and a lot. And these items are not in the menu. That's very unfriendly! We asked 2 glasses of houswine, which is everywhere the cheapest one, but here are 2 glasses (11EUR/each) as expensive as one bottle of another good wine on the menu.

The cleanliness of the rooms and the corridor smells just amazing, the bed was super comfortable, the staff were friendly and tried to answer all of our questions, even when they don't have the answer they'll try to find it for you, The free mini bar option was nice. It's a bit far from the main attraction and the old city, but buses are very close and will take you in less than 10 mins, so it's not a big deal

Everything was perfect, the only feedback I would say is the breakfast could be better.

It was ver clean and comfortable. It isn’t in the center of Rome but you can take a bus to go into the center quickly and it isn’t too far that it would be hard to travel to center by bus either. We paid a lot more money for a stay in the center of Rome and our room was small, loud, and not as clean comfortable as this hotel. The little white poodle at the front desk is a nice greet for people traveling without their pets. We would definitely stay here the next time we are in Rome.

This was a great place to stay at if you don't want to be around the hustle and bustle of the center of Rome. You can get to this hotel from the airport easily by cab. The trip to the center of Rome where all the shopping and sites are is a quick cab ride that averaged about $14 USD. Definitely would recommend staying at this hotel. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly, and hotel is nice.

Could of been a bit closer to the center of Rome, but that would be our fault.

Lovely lovely hotel, Valentina at reception was extra helpful, went out of her way to arrange a tour driver for us. Kept us in the loop, called lots of options till she found one at short notice. The hotel is extremely clean, housekeeping very pleasant, they do an amazing job, won’t find a single strand of hair! Smells nice, good functional air conditioning for the intense heat in Rome in July. Excellent stay overall for Rome. Travelled with parents and kids and we didn’t expect it to feel like 5 stars, but everyone was complimentary. We were not looking for a 5 star hotel as we knew we would be out all day seeing the sights of Rome. This however exceeded our expectations! We used Uber to move around and it was a convenient location.
