Room itself was quite big for a family of 4 and had enough air and ventilation. Staff was always helpful (Ariel, Claudio always gave some useful tips regarding touristy stuff, walking around the city, restartaunts, metro etc), so it was nice of them. The garden at the back is nice to enjoy a quiet breakfast. The hotel is in a residential area, so it is silent and away from the touristy buzz (and Rome is filled with tourists), so it was good for us to walk around the area and see what locals do :-) The building itself is from 1930, so it is interesting to stay in an old place !

The electric points were a bit of pain, some of them had a loose connection and it used to take us a bit of effort to get it working. The breakfast was OK. The distance from centre is around 5km or so, so plan ahead with the metro and bus (but it is not a big deal with planning). Taxis were hard to get by sometimes (but we were there during the easter weekend, so could be attributed to that). Once you get to the metro, the Guiovanni station is convienent. There are a lot of restaraunts in 1km radius, with a bit of walk. Watch for pickpockets in the metro stations, we met someone who had just been picked.

The quietness of the surroundings makes us sleep well during the night.. The breakfast was awesome with quality chocolate, butter, jam croissants 🤤. We love their cappuccino and chocolate drinks which was better than one of the 5 star hotels we have stayed in previously. It is convenient to access the city especially the Colosseum area. We saved up transportation costs by having walking or bus taking to points of attraction in Rome and the Vatican. The best was given a chance to access San Giovanni as that's a great church to visit without entrance fee! . We also found good restaurants and a shopping centre with walking steps Overall, we were having a wonderful holiday with better sleeping quality there. Definitely, we will go back to Lodi in next visit Thanks to the friendly staff for letting us to refill drinks with FOC! 😊

Nothing..

Good location, close to the different bus lines (few minutes walk). But the most important is a friendly staff and garden where breakfast (which is included) is served at the morning (cofeee, juice, croissants, sweet buns) and where you can sit at the evening. Very clean, room not very spacy but enough. No AC but at the end of September it wasn’t issue.

Bathroom cloud be renovated (but it’s minor issue ;).

The hotel is good for the money paid, the only problem we faced during the winter was the lack of heating on the room, but unfortunately that the problem in Italy in general… The rest was a great experience, staff was very friendly, breakfast was nice and the room was clean, beds were very comfortable!

Nice and cozy little hotel, with excellent beds, very clean, the friendliest staff you can think of, and a very very tasty and generous breakfast. In a good location, surprisingly silent, very close to subway transportation, a short ride from the heart of the city, and plenty of good food options and late-night markets nearby. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and the staff goes above and beyond the call of duty to make you feel comfortable.

This is not an issue of the hotel, but of the city of Rome: parking is nearly impossible anywhere in the area, so have that in mind if you're travelling by car (which is just the worst option when visiting Rome anyway). Also, even if it's about a 30 minutes walk from Roma Termini train station, walking to the hotel is complicated and takes you through unmarked tunnel entrances and other very bad crossing areas -- and it's a NO NO if you're travelling with children.

The staff are so welcoming and friendly, such good value for the price of this hotel and the breakfast in the morning was lovely! Great location to get the metro and was lovely in the surrounding areas of pigneto too!

The room is very small, but didn’t put us off at all as we didn’t spend much time in there.

Nice accommodation in quite short distance to many top sights in Roma. We recommend to use preferably the bus No. 16 to Termini and back. The subway was always packed. We had very delicious breakfast in beautiful subtropical garden setting. It was amazing. Staff is very friendly. We did not miss anything. We would love to come back again.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, with great recommendations for a restaurant nearby that we loved. We felt very looked after. The room was clean with comfortable beds, the shower had plenty of hot water! Breakfast in the garden was a highlight each morning

Sometimes the bathroom had a slight smell to it but wasn’t an issue for us

Very friendly and good value. The garden is beautiful. The rooms are basic but clean. Our only small complaint was the bed - two singles pushed together, which separated a little during the night. Otherwise I would recommended Hotel Lodi for anyone looking to explore the city and not spend much time in their hotel!
