Hotel Latinum

We were most pleasantly surprised by the wonderful service from the entire hotel staff. Extremely friendly, responsive and with perfect English - one wouldn't have a problem asking for a location, recommendations for a nearby restaurant or a place you want to visit. The hotel was conveniently located from Termini station - accessible by public transport or a 15-20 minute walk. Also very near to some historical sites, like Basilica di St. Maria Maggiore, the Colosseum and others. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a lovely balcony on the top floor where it is nice to go out. The breakfast is of very good quality. I definitely recommend Hotel Latinum!

Like all hotels around Termini station, it can be noisier because of the transport. This is the downside of a good location.

The staff was pleasant and helpful at all times, the room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was a nice plus. The hotel is situated at the lovely historic Porta Maggiore square that is situated a short 10 min. walk from the metro line A that takes you directly to the Vatican city and the city centre (Spanish square, piazza Barberini, piazza del Popolo). Also, there is a bus line that takes you directly to the Colosseum that is basically in front of the hotel.

The staff was very friendly, it’s one of those establishments that’s goes the extra mile to greet you by name. English is my first language and I have only been here study Italian for two weeks they were so patient with me. I ate complimentary breakfast everyday during my stay it’s Euro style continental so don’t expect a waffle maker lol It’s still a solid meal. They offer other meal and bar amenities but I was gone sight seeing and didn’t use them. everything seemed to be 15 minutes away either by foot or cab. Familiarize yourself with local scooter companies and escort yourself wherever you want to go! 17 min walk from Roma Termini and around the same to the colloseum!

The mini bar isn’t included and there was someone else’s hair on the floor in the bathroom. i travel with slippers so no worries. also there are no wash rags/towels given in this area so bring a travel pouf.

Central location. A good choice of transport solutions: tram, buses and night buses. Close to Vittorio Emanuele and Manzoni tube stations. Relatively close also the main train hub for Rome: Termini. Also close to San Lorenzo district with nice restaurants, cafes and bars. Comfy bed. A nice terrace with a lovely view especially at night. Staff was incredibly helpful, polite and friendly.

A small, quiet hotel located 15 minutes by walk from the Termini train station (stop for the airport shuttle) and 10 minutes by walk from metro station, simple but tasty breakfast, friendly staff. We celebrated New Year's Eve with a little bottle of prosecco offered by the staff. I sincerely recommend this hotel for a city break.

The hotel was decent, clean and comfortable. We were there in a heat wave week and the AC was just great. We had a great stay.

The breakfast was great during our stay but in the last day, there were not pastries left by the time we had our breakfast.

Great establishment (traditional building) and clean/proper rooms, a little of dark though...Staff is very professional and smily all the time, great team. Breakfast plenty and tasty.

Location not ideally I would say, especially the surrounding neighborhoods.

Marco was Marco was super nice. He gave us very good tips for good quality and value restaurants nearby, as well as directions for public transportation.

The mattress was not comfortable. The hotel is about 18 minutes walk from Termini station, and not close to any off touristy objects. It's okay if you are willing to take public transportation.

I was not expecting to get everything I need with toothbrush, comfy bed, great location, razor and all things in one package. Definitely recommend this hotel to stay near the Train station. 15 minutes walk.

Marco on the desk is very helpful and friendly, a credit to the hotel. Very comfortable bed and pillows

Due to bring close to the main road there can be alot if noise from sirens passing by.
