Hotel Martis Palace

The position of the hotel is exceptional and perfect for being in the right area . clean quiet elegant and with plenty of lovely spaces for guests to relax when they were not out sightseeing . The roof terrace is outstanding and the cool library is elegant and lovely to sit in when you are tired and hot ! The breakfast was very pleasant and varied. Any extra snacks we asked for on the terrace were brought with great efficiency and pleasantness and were delicious. The staff were outstanding in their cheerfulness helpfulness and efficiency. Nothing we asked for was too much trouble! Our junior suite was immaculately clean, lovely and spacious ,and cool and quiet: just what we wanted. It was beautifully designed but we did have some issues which I have written below.

We didn’t like the design of the bathroom at all! It looked very beautiful but for a facility that size there was only one basin :it was too shallow and didn’t drain properly - and the plug was very inefficient. The shower was enormous but mostly just a lot of empty space. The handles of the drawers were very unpleasant and difficult to operate with the tips of your fingers. we found the lighting and curtain controls by the bed very difficult to operate.. ! The lamps either side of the bed were not well placed and the shelf for bedside needs was very shallow and small.

The staff were very nice and helpful, helped us book transport through WhatsApp and gave recommendations on where to eat and visit. The location was great for all the sites we wanted to visit, where max walking was 25 minutes way each direction, and about 10 minutes walk to main shopping street Via Del Corso, which was good for us as the airline lost our luggage. Very close the one of the squares, so had some cool vibes at night and eateries around. The breakfast was basic but sufficient for our needs and still nice. The rooftop terrace was a cute addition, if you wanted to sit out in fresh air at night and enjoy a drink over the rome rooftops, not much to see site wise but still a real nice vibe, and somewhere to relax and enjoy a drink.

Room furnishings / colours were a little dated. Bed wasn’t as comfy as hoped.

Generous upgrade to junior suite which is a lovely big room with wonderful space and furnishing. Everything is very clean and has a nice elegant touch. Complimentary peppermint hair and body shampoo is very nice. Location is close to bus stop for local buses which we enjoyed using, and also 2min walk to Piazza Navona, where the Christmas funfair/market was held. Though wifi was sub-par, I have to commend the staff on being very responsive to our feedback, and they tried their best to resolve our issues. Appreciate the effort.

Wifi weak for macbook/apple products I was told by the staff, not sure why. Breakfast is adequate, could be more variety for the price of the room. Pillows too soft.

Beautiful hotel in excellent location. Walking distance to all attractions. Lots of restaurants nearby in addition to Piazza Navona and Campo Fiori. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and had may options. Cappuccino was excellent. Rooftop bar was beautiful and relaxing. Rooftop staff were wonderful. Family room was clean and large with high ceilings. Will stay again next time in Rome

Absolutely the best location to walk to just about all the important sites in Rome. We are older and we walked to everything . Hotel staff were so very helpful with easy directions to all the sites. Many restaurants very close by. Verona Piazza steps away. Hotel room very spacious and impeccably clean. Breakfast wonderful both hot and cold selections. Staff very friendly and very helpful. We had a great stay.

There was nothing not to like.

Location was fantastic, staff so helpful and friendly, rooftop area comfortable. we had suite at the top with balcony, it was lovely and spacious.

nothing, all was good. We were fortunate to get a free upgrade which helped as manager believed the original room booked would have been too small for us and our luggage. if we had had that room it would have been a different experience.

terrific location Piazza Navona. SUITE IS A MUST FOR SIZE, storage of clothes in 2 great closets, large walk-in shower. ALL NICE AMENITIES and very clean! CONCIERGES HELPED SO MUCH W reservations, cabs, etc. The rooftop patio was outstanding even though it was not easy for me since I HAVE MOBILITY ISSUES! GREAT view, place for drinks, nice snacks or light food choices! ATTITUDE OF ALL STAFF was outstanding; they tried to please and accommodate us at every turn! LOVED the breakfast w plentiful choices including delicious cakes, croissants, fruit, cheese, juices, eggs, etc and the best eggplant and pepper dish! VERY IMPRESSED and highly recommend

We like everything, the location, the building, the staff. The rooftop has a beautiful view were you can enjoy the sunset with a drink with an excellent service. Anything that you need, they are open and patient to help you out with local restaurants reservations, transfers, shops, etc. Even I was a few weeks away to get there and they were very helpful. They make you feel welcome in Rome.

I couldn't find anything that I didn't like it.
