Hotel Della Torre Argentina

Stayed for 4 nights, last week of April. Family of 4. Two separate rooms. On different floors. Excellent rooms. Clean, spacious, comfortable beds, large bathrooms. Shower, hand held and overhead, and tub. Hot/cold water. No issue with water draining. Toilet worked perfectly. Large sink area. Plenty of towels. All the doors open, closed, locked, unlocked well. Power outlets available around the room. Room service wonderful, brought new clean towels everyday. Plenty of space to put luggage and open it. Lots of outlets. Thermostat easy to operate. Very nice rooftop terrace with seating and great view of the top of the Pantheon. Two elevators. Great location, RIGHT next to a taxi stand. Perfect location to walk to all the important stops, Pantheon, Trevi, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps. Cabbed it to Vatican and Borghese Gallery, but walked on the way back. So it really depends on how you want to play it. Concierge/front desk team was INCREDIBLY friendly, kind, warm, helpful, attentive, professional, and so lovely. Thank you Elodie, thank you Martina, thank you Sebastiano. Recommended restaurants, gave advice, called taxi for us on our last day to go to the train station. We were able to store our luggage after our check-out time until we had to take the cab to Roma Termini. Luggage storage is a very safe locker. Always felt safe coming back to the hotel at night around 10-12. Delicious free candy at the front desk. That's the secret that keeps everyone coming back! Lots of stores around to buy water and other food items. Quiet at night, did not feel that there was noise. Slept peacefully, comfortably. Would definitely stay here again.

We didn't like that we had to leave. We wanted to stay longer!

Better solutions in regard to the sound insulation are badly needed, both from inside and outside noise.

Stayed in Room 118 and the room was very spacious. It was a prime location and was in good walking distance of most attractions. Room was kept clean and in order daily.

The only complaint I have would be the noise. Staff would be up and about around 5am and the walls were very thin you can hear every little noise made. Also, there was constant noise outside our window that was so loud it kept us up through the night even tho we’ve closed the window.

I'd recommend this hotel purely for it's in an amazing location in the historic centre of Rome. We were a short walk away from most sights and attractions in the area, and in fact if you leave the hotel and take a left, you can walk directly to St Peter's Square in a straight line. Hotel is also close enough to Termini Station (around ~10 euros in a white taxi). Breakfast was continental with a good range of options including bacon and scrambled egg, and the dining area was very nice. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, and answered my questions about bus travel and gave us some restaurant tips. While the room and parts of the hotel are quite dated, the hotel is exceptionally clean - bedding and towels are changed every day. Bedroom had a window and shutters you can open - our room was not street-side and was quiet.

Parts of the hotel are quite dated and could use an update - some carpets, some furnishings in room. The elevators are also very narrow. Rooms are not fully sound proof - I could hear people in the corridor talking as they walked by and could hear my family talking in the room when I was outside the door myself.

Great hotel for your money! Excellent location - all the main attractions are within a 15-minute walk. Although the hotel is located on a large street, there was no noise in the room at all (perhaps because our room had access to the terrace on the top floor). Bed linen is changed every 2-3 days, cleaning is done daily. Breakfast is beyond praise. Scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, cheeses, various types of meat and sausages, various types of bread and even gluten-free bread and cupcakes. And the Christmas cake is just incredibly delicious. The staff is responsive and pleasant. I highly recommend it.

Really nice staff, who helped us many times. I celebrated my birthday in Rome, and at breakfast they surprised me with a birthday song and a cake. So nice of them to do!

Only disadvantage is that the pillows where a little hard and uncomfortable.

Location is great and room is spacious

Cleanliness is not good i found hair in the blanket, i ordered airport shuttle but the driver was late more than an hour and called me to say sorry after i left airport in a taxi already

The hotel offered a free of charge program of getting to know the city. Virgilio, the guide and the program host, was exceptional! His passion and love of the city, and his enthusiasm to share his huge knowledge with us was inspiring. We will not forget this experience.

The elevators where tiny. It was too small for 2 people with a suitcase. The room was as one of the smalest we ever stayed in.

Amazing location, 4 minutes walking to Pantheon. Very kind service from everybody from breakfast serving, cleaning and reception. Bus station in front of the hotel.

Rooms next to street are not peaceful for sleeping. The room was clean, but really loud. You literally had the feeling of sleeping with the windows open although they were closed, ambulances passing by every 10-15 minutes. 2 single mattresses put together as one, but our reservation was for a queen bed.

The man on the desk when we arrived was so friendly and helpful and this set the tone for the rest of our stay. We had a very clean room. It was on the inside of the hotel so we didn’t have any road noise which was amazing
