We loved the property, very quiet though in the city center of Rome. Both the owner/manager and the cleaner were very lovely and helpful. The room was very big, with a comfortable bed, working AC, and beautifully decorated, it felt very home from home. Definitely the place to stay if you want to be right in the heart of Rome. No breakfast was available but some snacks were left in the room and a little fridge that was very handy.

The toilet seat was loose and the wi-fi was pretty horrible. I appreciate it is an old property with thick walls but that is certainly something to consider improving, as well as fixing the loose toilet seat.

The location is more than perfect. Five minutes away by foot from Piazza Di Spagna (and the Metro Station) with all the amenities nearby, such as great cafes, beautiful shops with local products. It is worth mentioning that although Piazza Di Spagna is one of the main areas of Rome with a lot of people, the actual guesthouse is located in a very quiet side street. The host, Marta was very helpful and always with a smile on her face :) We had the chance also to meet the owner of the property who was there with her daughter and explained to us the history of the building which was very interesting. Most of the furniture belong to the family for generations. The guesthouse is very well designed and gives you a taste of the Roman decoration.

The only thing we have some trouble with was the mattress was really soft for our taste. Other than that, we would fall asleep immediately after walking Rome for 12 hours straight and we were fresh for the next day. Also we did read some reviews that had us concerned about the security of the building which do not stand! For example our check out was at 11:00a.m and we had to depart to the airport at 14:00 and we left our luggage in the main hall with extra shopping we did during the day and we felt more than secure. The main entrance to the building has a code to enter and then to enter the guesthouse it has another door where you have to enter a different code.

We spent three nights, came to see Rome. Very convenient location, walking distance to all the sights of the city. The street is quiet but there are many restaurants nearby. the room itself is authentic, clean, small but had everything you need. the staff is attentive and tidy. we arrived before check in time and were allowed to check in. tea, coffee and croissants were provided every day. Martina is a friendly and caring hostess. Helped organize transfers from and to the airport. Thank you, Rome is wonderful!

To be in Rome is magical anyway, but to find somewhere as lovely, charming and special as Vicolo del lupo to stay in was the icing on the cake. The location is amazing, close to great restaurants, sights and the ease to literally just step out of the door to the buzz and warmth of the Centro storico surpassed my expectations. Would recommend this little gem to anyone who likes to stay in small but special places. I'll be back! Great value money, as a solo woman traveller was perfect!

In the heart of Rome, a few steps from Piazza di Spagna and Metro station. Refurbished old building, comfortable and spacious room ( Brown), amazing bed, nice decoration. Very appreciated the welcome tray with F&B amenities. The shower gel has a delicious smell.

The bathroom is too small and furniture is not adequate.

This house is in a very good place, you can get to all the famous spots very conveniently. It’s also a very historical building . You can find that it has hundred years but no worry, everything is OK. You will not feel uncomfortable and it’s clean and quite. It’s the e same as the pictures.

Great location two minutes walk from spanish steps, near grocery store, contactless checkin in any hour, old italian atmosphere, generaly quiet place

Too soft mattresses, bad sound isolation, not from the surroundings, but from inside of the building ( other rooms)

It was just perfect! The hotel is in great neighbourhood, you can walk to all the touristic places in Rome. There are many great restaurants nearby for dinner. I genuinely recommend.

It's at a perfect location! You can walk around Rome from there and it's extremely close to the train station. The nicest cafés and restaurants are next to it and the neighborhood feels extremely safe. Can't go wrong! The room itself was extremely clean and was cleaned every day, and the staff always smiling and polite.
