It was a beautiful 500 year old house with comfortable living area and great communal kitchen. When I dropped my bags off early, a thunder storm was threatening. The manager offered for me to stay in the kitchen/living area until my room was ready. They gave me a huge cappuccino and told me to help myself to the sweet buffet. As I enjoyed my coffee and coconut cake, the storm had started outside. I was thrilled to enjoy a symphonic concert and opera singing in the backdrop of the thunder storm. I thought that someone had music playing, but it was live from the music academy near by. You could not plan this - magic. The breakfast spread was second to none and they would cook eggs any style for you to go along with the amazing buffet. The kitchen was open for your use any time of the day and there was always a selection of cakes, fruits, juices and coffee and tea for you to enjoy. My room was the only room on the top floor and was beautifully decorated with a modern bathroom and spacious shower. The location was excellent. Near many of the big sights, like the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps, and lots of shopping and great restaurants. I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend it!

Location!! Quiet little back street with charm. Safe! Steps to great shopping and good restaurants . (We recommend the Dilly, 2 minutes from BB) Spanish steps 5 minutes. Bed very comfortable.Good WIFI. Housekeeping was thorough. Fresh baked treats and continental breakfast with extra options. We enjoyed meeting other guests at the breakfast table. Or you can choose a separate table just as easy We had the top floor room with balcony, and could sit outside on the private patio and listen to live musicians from the music school, 50’ away! Opera and sometimes flute. So magical. We will definitely return on our next visit to Rome Lots of narrow stairs, but the staff assisted us with the luggage. Extremely helpful!

There was nothing wrong!!

Loved our room (super comfy bed), the communal area, the helpful staff, the breakfast and freshly made cakes each day, and the location could not have been better— close to cafes, bars, trattorias and easy to get around on foot to pretty much everything, yet nice and quiet at night. Was a delight and joy to stay— hopefully I will return to Rome and stay again.

I don’t think there was anything I didn’t like but if you were a tall person you may need to be mindful of some doorways.

We loved everything about Casa Fabbrini. Perfect location, everything was walkable. Particularly wonderful was hearing the students practice their opera or piano at the music conservatory next door - we were serenaded from our balcony during the day and at also breakfast. Otherwise it was a quiet oasis away from the hustle of Rome. Superb breakfasts (the baked goodies such as cakes and tarts - available all day - were sublime). The staff were lovely too. The room, while not huge, was set up so well that it suited us perfectly, even though my partner is 196cm tall. The stairs would present a challenge for tall people or those with mobility issues, but otherwise Casa Fabbrini is absolute perfection.

I liked everything

This is a very cute b&b located on a quiet backstreet in the city. The breakfast options were very good and the staff was very curtious. We liked how there were pastries and coffee guest could enjoy all day long which was nice when we needed a light snack. The location was very close to the metro and Spanish steps which made traveling to the airport and termini station very convenient.

The house was very dark at night with no motion sensors which made finding the light switches difficult in the hallways and stairs. Also the door code panel entry was very finicky. We would enter the correct code several time correctly and was denied entry. After a few times it worked. Kind of inconvenient but not a major problem. Lastly there was no soap or shower gel for bathing, just the hand soap by the sink. (that’s what we used). After asking the staff for shower gel or soap it was never given to us during our 4 night stay. It was strange but we just used the hand soap.

The property was beautifully furnished with everything that we needed for a short stay in Rome. The breakfasts were delicious and being able to help yourself to tea, coffee, juices, cakes and fruit was such a wonderful touch. It cannot be faulted. such a great location too- just perfect! We really hope to stay again in the future. Thank you for your hospitality.

The only slight downside, very slight, was being positioned below the kitchen and therefore we heard activity fairly early in the morning.

The room was lovely, with a nice balcony and comfortable bed. It was in a great location in the city, as it was quiet but close to lots of good restaurants and places to see.

The breakfast situation was a bit unclear, as there was a fridge but it was full of things from other guests and the communal items weren't labelled or clear. Once we checked in we didn't see the staff again so we couldn't arrange check out or ask about breakfast. We did manage to see someone once to get towels as these weren't in our room.

Incredible place that will leave lasting memories for years to come. Quietly snugged in a cup-de-sac yet is literally next to a basilica of music and cobblestone alleys that open to trendy local and world renowned shops. you can easily stroll to Spanish Steps and Piazza di Oppolo ..Metro is just around the corner with local eateries all over. but most amazing has got to be the home made breakfast here expertly served by very own Julius… thank you for the wonderful times … Raymond and Rachel 06/2022

Amazing location in a quiet side street but very central. Felt like home from home with books and beautiful decor all around. The communal kitchen and lounge area on the top floor was perfect to relax and you could serve yourself tea coffee and cake any time. The staff were excellent. Each morning we woke up to fresh cakes being baked. A real hidden gem.

Our room was a little small but others are larger. The main suite on top floor looks amazing. Beware of the late check in charge if arriving in the evening and also the payment is taken in advance. Just check the booking details.

Location was perfect for accessing the main sights of Rome on foot. The breakfast was varied , delicious, and plentiful and the food beautifully presented. Our room ( on the top floor) looked out over roof tops and felt open as it had glass patio doors along one side that opened onto a small balcony. On occasions we could hear in the distance either the bells of the city, or an opera singer rehearsing, or a pianist as there is a school of music near by. ( all charming and so appropriate for the setting ),;and no traffic noise. The very best thing about Casa Fabrinni was Ronan our host. He baked cakes freshly on a daily basis for guests and was so unobtrusively attentive and helpful.

This isn't a deal breaker but extra sockets in the room to charge our phones could have been useful as we had to unplug the bedside lamps to do this.
