Hotel Santa Maura

It is very close to metro station, the staff is kind, helpful and efficient. Beds are comfortable and it is very clean.

There were no glasses in the room, we had to ask for them. It was a bit noisy since there were renovation works in progress. No fruit for breakfast.

The location, you have the subway station in the corner, Torre Spatacca, so you can go to the Rome center, do your visit at the museums and vatican city and return to the hotel in the night. One station before of Torre Spatacca station, in Alessandrino station there is a Carrefour Express. Also walking like 350 mts from the hotel there is a cafeteria and the restaurant Plagia e Fieno, a great place to eat pizza, pasta and wine for the house. The room was big, very comfortable, there was a refrigerator if you want to keep some food or drink cool, the bathroom was very clean an big. The staff were very kind, always help you with any problem or issue, they scheduled our taxi to go to the airport. The coffee is very good too.

Well, there was only one night that other guest arrived at 3am, and because the wall are very thin, we hear them, thw problem is that you hear everything, even if the other guest use the bathroom. This scenario only ocurred once, the other nights we didn't have any problems. But in general all our stay was perfect

The staff was super super friendly and even though there were renovations happening the hotel was very clean. It has a bus stop right in front of it and a metro station is also super close so you can get into the inner city in like half an hour.

The breakfast was a little underwhelming but it was still okay and the neighbourhood I think is not the best. Going back there after the Metro stops going is pretty difficult and I didn't always feel safe after it got dark

The staff was terrific. Alessandro was top - he recommended the best restaurants and was polite and helpful. Really close to the subway and clean.

The lack of towels when we checked in, but Alessandro took care of that problem for us. The walls were fragile, and we could hear everything from the other rooms. We were not accommodated in the hotel's main building - there were some rooms in another building, ground floor —no carpet on the floor as in the picture, but tiles.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and the rooms were quite clean. The location is very convenient, right next to the metro station. The breakfast was simple but delicious.

One thing to note is that there is ongoing construction in the building, but the workers are not disruptive.

It is the best value for the money you pay. A good choice, i didnt regret staying there.

It is a bit far from the centre. 30 mins with the metro. Metro in Rome is not always the best experience. The neighbourhood is not the best one aswell. I was afraid going back after 21.30. The facilities are a bit old, bit everything was good. A fridge in the room will be a good addition, because my room didnt have one. It is a good overall experience.

Located in 40 minutes by metro which is ok but at late evening there’s no public transport available, at about 22.00-22.30 you need probably take a cab cause the metro station is closed.

The hotel was super clean, fresh and white as clouds sheets, clean floors and bathroom. Air conditioning was great and we liked the little balcony on the rooms. Our FAVORITE part though, was the super breakfast. You can find everything and from simple buns to some of the most amazing cakes we ever had in a hotel. 10 points for the food, the delicious cappuccino and their kind service.

We didn't quite like is the hotel furniture which seemed a little bit too old, and a few more toiletries could be useful even though our group of friends didn't really mind since we had our own toiletries. These are just little details that would make the experience perfect but it is a very small issue which is easily forgotten.

Overall, the place is good for 3-4 nights stay. The breakfast was tasty and staff was very nice and helpful.

Location. Some construction work on our floor made noise, but not too much.

Great staff always available to assist in any way possible. Room cleaned every day; bathroom had all I needed; breakfast usual assortment cereals; breads, juices, meats and cheese; a nice touch breakfast room was pleasant. Elevator was small but that's not unusual in European hotels.

The TV did not have any English speaking stations, which was a disappointment. The hotel is located away from the major train station Termini, changing train stations could be a challenge.
