The staff were very accommodating and always tried their best to make our stay comfortable. The location was excellent for getting around and the area felt safe for walking day or night. There was espresso coffee available pretty much all day near the registration desk along with small cookies and snacks. They even had lactose-free milk which they heated up for me! The cost was very reasonable.

The room we had was quite small and the bathroom very small (including a rather narrow shower) though our friends who stayed in the corner room next to ours had a larger room with a larger bathroom. Also, our air conditioning never worked though the hotel has someone come to look at it 2 or 3 times. Again, our friends were able to get their AC working.

This is a beautiful old hotel that would have been the height of luxury in its early days. We requested two rooms to accommodate two adults and two teenagers and stayed four nights. The hotel has a lovely grand staircase and a reasonably sized elevator to access the upper floors. The staff were lovely and spoke excellent English and there was a staff member to meet us at the door on our arrival to help us with luggage and with navigating the hotel. Reception staff were always eager to help and they will happily book you a taxi service which arrives at the hotel within a few minutes! There is no restaurant at the hotel for meals, however there are tea, coffee and sweet and savoury snacks available all day at no charge at reception and rooms have tea and coffee making facilities as well as a good sized fridge. Both of our rooms were spacious and clean with daily servicing and linen changes if required. Beds were of a good size and comfortable and the linen was of good quality. Nice bathroom products were provided and we were impressed that they were all Italian made! Individual air conditioning units in each room were excellent and allowed us to adjust the temperature to our needs which was great. The hotel is in an excellent location - its in a very quiet part of the city but also within walking distance of most major attractions and landmarks. There are many great restaurants very close by (we loved Le Carre Francais just around the corner for coffee and breakfast) and a well-stocked supermarket just over the bridge. Also just across the bridge is the shopping district with all of the usual shops including designer stores. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

There wasn't really anything major, but the bathrooms could do with being updated.

Within walking distance of most of Rome's most famous places. The staff is friendly and helpful, and also knows good English, which is apparently rare for Italy. There is an excellent restaurant right around the corner, with a discount for the customers of the hotel.

The only reason I didn't understand what the people in the neighboring hotel rooms were talking about is because I don't speak Italian. The walls are thin. Also the bathroom was a bit small, kept hitting my elbows on everything, being 1.84m, but I understand that is typical for buildings in a European city centre.

Location was excellent. Room was quiet and staff were exceptionally helpful and kind. All of them. Coffee and juice and pastries were always available and staff went out of their way to provide hot milk for coffee. Price was very reasonable for central Roma. Our room had reasonable space.

Breakfast was minimal and we went across the street to pick up croissants and an omelet. Would be nice if there was more of a breakfast at the hotel. Hotel is old and a little run down. Sheets had holes in them.

We absolutely loved the staff because all of them were friendly, kind, and respectful. We received a map with advices what can be found in the area and were assured that the city is safe for night walks. This was done by the lady who greeted us at the reception for check-in. Thank you all for your time and effort! Appreciated! 😊☺️🌹 The room was clean and cozy, and it was definitely comfortable for two people. Furthermore, the towels were changed every day. The location is excellent - there are bus stops, cafes, restaurants, bars, and gellato places around. What is more, it was easily reachable from Champino airport.

This small hotel is made by its incredibly helpful staff. We felt looked after every minute of our stay. The location is excellent and within easy walking distance of some of the city's major sites.

The rooms that we were in were newly renovated so some things still to be addressed. Similar to many places in Italy, the plug sockets varied in size, which made things complicated when using chargers etc. The sockets were also quite fragile, making us worried that we would damage them by plugging things in. The water in our shower was cold, although it was August, so this wasn't a problem. There was no breakfast on site, although there was a cafe opposite.

The staff was nice and helpful. It is a quiet and centric hotel, in a good area, walking distance to many main places.

The first mattress was horrible, we couldn’t sleep at all. The second night they changed it and we had a comfortable mattress. The room was very small, the freezer and tea cups could be displayed in a better way. The collection of furniture is antique but not well taken care of. I think their idea is good but needs more maintenance. They didn’t charge us when we arrived and nor when we left, since reception staff was not there at 6 am. We thought that they would charge directly to my card, but instead we had to go back the next day to pay. Thank you.

I really appreciated the pre-check in process on WhatsApp, and communicating with the staff that way, too. The concierge staff were really amazing and made me feel at home. I got a map and a full rundown of places to go while waiting for my room to be ready since I arrived early. It was a great welcome. The check out process was also effortless. There was a nice assortment of drinks and light snacks near the check in/out counter, too. Plus: AC!

The bed was a bit stiff and the room rather small for the price, but that's about it. I really enjoyed having a fridge, kettle, AC, TV, and the bathroom set-up. It was a perfect place for a quick stay.

The staff were friendly and informative. Lovely old building with character in a perfect location for exploring the city. The room was adequate for the 3 of us to share comfortably.

It would have been nice to have been able to have breakfast at the hotel before heading out but they do offer mini pastries & coffee at reception but it wasn't something we fancied doing in the reception area. My one disappointment wherever I go is uncomfortable pillows!
