We rented the 2 bedroom Deluxe Apartment. As stated by others, the location is unbelievably good. It is just a couple minutes walk from Piazza Venezia, the Campidaglio and the Forum, yet it is located off a small and quiet piazza, so there were no issues with noise. We were surprised to find there is actually a reception desk in the lobby and Elena was always pleasant and helpful. If needed, luggage can be kept in the reception area before check-in and after check-out. The washing machine is also a dryer and we really appreciated that.

The shower and second toilet area are VERY small, but we knew that beforehand from previous reviews. The fabulous location really makes up for these items.

The apartment is fantastic. It has a big living room, two big separate rooms and a very nice kitchen. I loved how it's decorated and everything looks brand new. The room had an expresso machine, capsules, complimentary tea, some crackers and Nutella, I liked that detail. It's fabulously located at walking distance from all major attractions in Rome. The staff is fantastic, they are so lovely, helpful and all their responses are very speedy. We arrived at 7AM and the check in is at 3PM, and they did everything they could yo accommodate us as early as possible. Super quiet neighbourhood, even though it's in the most touristic part of Rome.

The comments are true: there seems to be something weird with the restroom, it's smelly, like something is not properly sealed up. The location of the bathroom is uncomfortable, as you need to go through the main room to get there. It can get a bit noisy if you have noisy neighbours. It is also true that it doesn't have any microwave.

The location of this apartment was absolutely perfect for our stay in Rome. It made sightseeing a breeze and worth the extra cost to be within a short walk of almost everything. Additionally, breakfast on the rooftop terrace was the perfect start to our day and one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. It was so great to have a place to relax and take it all in while the kids were still sleeping in the morning. Highly recommend!

There seems to have been a smell coming from the toilet connected to the main bedroom. Thankfully we could leave the window cracked and that helped. Perhaps something isn't quite sealed up. Also, the blankets on the bed were very thin. When we asked for more we were given only 1 twin sized blanket (there are 4 of us). So, more linens would be a great addition.

This cute apartment was in a fantastic location near Palazzo Venezia and easy walking distance to most of the main attractions. My father and I stayed four nights and check in was easy and the staff were very friendly and communicative. I booked due to the amazing reviews and it didn't disappoint. In a really safe area and very clean. Kitchen was small but had a good pod coffee machine and most things you need including a dishwasher. Spare toilet in the small laundry and a lift was a bonus. It has two bedrooms but one doesn't have a door, so open to the kitchen and living area, which I didn't mind. Aircon was excellent. Really great place to stay - highly recommend. Tip - avoid the restaurant in Margana Square - expensive and really not very good.

The shower is very small, but I think that's normal in Rome. My father and I are 5 foot 2 and we squeezed in okay (just).

The location was perfect for visiting the main sites in Rome, virtually everything in the city centre was within 30 minutes walk. Having a roof terrace really added to the experience of staying in Rome. The owners and staff were really friendly and very helpful. The apartment was roomy and had all that was necessary for a short stay. The bottle of prosecco and supply of everyday essentials was very welcome.

The furnishings in the apartment are quite basic and while they meet one's needs, given the location and price of the accommodation they lack style. The water for the shower took ages to come through hot, so it felt like we were having to waste a lot of water each time.

The location was outstanding for walking to the Colliseum historical area (East side of town). Grocery store 100 meters away, but very quiet and low traffic. Spacious. Appeared safe/secure with key entrance.

Would have been better with a microwave and freezer section of fridge. The 1 shower in bathroom is Very small (typical for Europe?) and would not well-accommodate a person over 62" or 200lbs. Not ADA accessible because the elevator doesn't go up to the exact floor but there was an elevator that went most of the way which was helpful.

Excellent appartment located in the ancient center of Rome. Probably difficult to find something better. Nicely furnitured roof-top appartment with enough space to stay for longer periods as well. Fabrizo who takes care of the place is a very nice and helpful person, a true „Angelo“ of the house. Mille grazie, ci abbiamo avuto una vacanza meravigliosa!

The water pressure of the shower is a bit löst, I understand it is related to saving water and a greener footprint ;)

Amazing location - 17 minutes walk to the Colosseum, with the Roman Forum etc even closer! An area full of history. Margana Tower is in a quiet side street - close to busy areas and 2 minutes walk from a supermarket - yet a peaceful place to stay. We did not meet the owner Fabrizio,  but he is helpful. We wanted to cook in the kitchen ( which has a good oven, hob, dishwasher (we did not use the dishwasher) washing machine and fridge (no freezer).  There was only 1 small saucepan ( and various frying pans and a pyrex dish) so Fabrizio left us a large saucepan next day.  It was kind of him to leave bottles of water in the fridge. There is a lift in the tower ( a bonus in such a historic building) but one still needs to walk a few steep steps up to each flat - fine for us but not easy if someone has mobility problems. Good air conditioning. We loved Rome and would stay at Margana Tower again.

We understand that the top floor flat ( Flat 3) has a terrace and a large shower. We stayed in Flat 2 - no terrace access, and only 1 ensuite shower room with WC ( ok for us as a family - but only access to WC/shower was off one of the bedrooms).  The shower is small  - maybe 75cm x 75cm  - with an opening of about 30cm. 

Location is 11 out of 10. The flat has a nice kitchen and proper windows which close out the noise from the street.

Check-in should be possible by having a code to enter the property at any time. Check-out at 10am is far too early. The bathroom and especially the shower are too small.

Location is really good, 15 minutes from colosseo and 15 minutes from Navona. Most importantly, the hosts (Elena and Fabrizio) are super kind and supprtive, they answered to my questions in 10 minutes and solved any problem I have immediately. I felt so comfortable emotionally during my stay. I will not stay in any other hotel if I come back to Rome!
