Hotel Castellino Roma

Location was excellent and breakfast was lovely

The jacuzzi needs thoroughly cleaned.. as soon as the jets were switched on it filled with dirt and fluff and scum :( A real shame as it would be lovely to spend time in it on the terrace otherwise!

the location is fantastic. all the landmarks are within walking distance. brilliant terrace!

we had a room that was designed to communicate with another room. there was no soundproofing. the door was parallel to the bed so we had the feeling that the tourist in the other room were living with us. also the first morning cleaning the other room wake us up for the same reason.

Everything about the hotel was superb. I booked it twice by mistake and was promised i won't be double charged. Didn't get my money back yet but believe it will be resolved soon. Let's get back to the hotel. Marco, the receptionist was unreal. Such a gentleman, so professional , so helpful, so nice and such an incredible nice person. He did his best to make our stay special. Nothing was too much for him. His colleague that worked at the reception evening times was also brilliant. We adored Marco from the moment we were greeted by him. Such a gem. We love you Marco ❤ Hotel room was absolutely perfect. Spotless, very comfortable and spacious. Everything you could dream of. We've had 2 breakfasts in the hotel and both were amazing. The hotel is located right in the heart of Rome. 10 mins walk to Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and other points of interest. If we ever coning back to Rome this is the only place we want to stay. Thank you all for making our stay amazing.

The only thing we didn't like is that we only stayed 2 nights. We could do with 2 weeks easily. Our fault

The location was excellent & the room was so quiet considering how busy it is outside. The breakfast was good & staff were really friendly & helpful.

The mattress was too hard & the shower head needed a good descale. Some parts of the hotel could do with a refresh, carpets near the lifts needed replacing.

The location was very central. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and the breakfast was quite an extensive hot buffet with lots of choices including healthy options. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Our first room had a bad smell but the staff quickly relocated us for one night and then again to a smaller room for the remainder of our stay. The hallways were quite dark. The soundproofing was poor as we heard every event in the adjacent room. Although the location was very central, there is a lot of street noise, that is beyond the control of the hotel.

I love the location,it was very close to everything!The breakfast was perfect,they have almost everything what u could imagine😊 The stuff were nice too.

We were a party of 7 with 5 separate rooms. The hotel was very thoughtful and our rooms were all located in one area so we could connect very easily with one another. My room was beautifully furnished with everything someone would need (i.e., safe, refrigerator, luggage rack, desk, etc.) The closet and storage area provided one to unpack without cluttering the room.

Some of the front desk staff, especially in the late afternoon - evening were not as knowledgeable and could not answer questions in English very well. The room and dining staff were all very professional and helpful.

The hotel is located in the heart of Rome, directly across from Piazza Venezia Square. It has its own restaurant downstairs and offers two complimentary welcome drinks as well as a 20% discount in the restaurant. Everything has been thought of in the room, and it is a very large room in comparison to Rome, with a new and clean bathroom. The storage spaces are large and sufficient, and the staff is friendly and helpful. On the roof, there is a large terrace with table chairs where you can sit and watch the rome. The price is a little high, but it is worth it because you can walk everywhere, everything is close, and you can come to the hotel in the middle of the day and rest for an hour before continuing walking. The breakfast is delicious and varied, and this is a hotel I would highly recommend.

Location brilliant, room big enough, breakfast great!

Bathroom didn't get cleaned while we were staying there. A little noisy during the night as on a busy road.

The hotel is in a central location allowing you to walk to all attractions in Rome - this is a huge plus, particularly when you want to explore at night. Rooms are spacious, clean and have a mini fridge and kettle. Close to restaurants and shopping - it really is a fabulous central location. Staff are wonderful across all areas - front desk, cleaning and at breakfast - and made us feel very welcome. They can organise a transfer to the airport if required which was very convenient.
