The location of the property is great. It is close to the Vatican and a safe neighborhood. Unlike a lot of old buildings in Europe, there is a cute and quaint lift which was helpful because the property is on the 5th floor. The staff, Nestle who manages front desk and the property is absolutely delightful! She was warm, welcoming, professional and always willing to help with a smile. The room size was good, given it was a single bed. The size of the room was size of a second bedroom in most Toronto condos. The hot water in bathroom was great! Great to come back to and shower. The air conditioning was an added bonus in the sweltering heat.

I wouldn’t describe the room “luxurious” by any measure. It was clean, spacious and functional. The luxury feeling was lacking. The bed and linen is basic, floor was bare and hardwood. The room gave the feel of a B&B at best. The mattress was not very soft and the linen was thin, making the direct air conditioner air on me uncomfortable and cold. Other than that, it is a good property. Just adjust expectations to know it is NOT a hotel; think of it like an Airbnb experience

The location was excellent. Very close to the Vatican and a bit far to the Colosseum if you want to walk (about 45 minutes). But for us this was not an issue. we loved walking the streets. There were lovely restaurants and coffee shops within a block and it was very quiet. After a long day of touring amidst the crowds and noise of the city, we loved returning to this quiet neighbourhood. The room was well appointed and bright. The only small complaint was that the pillows were not the best. A bit hard for our liking but we slept well despite this.

100% Recommended! The place is very well located, no too busy but close enough to everything to see. The room are luminous and super clean, very comfortable! My mom and sister had a room together and I had another and both rooms were impeccable! Nestle is a delight host, very kind, welcoming and extremely helpful! I also met Francesco the owner who is also very Kind! We can’t fault this place we would definitely come back there!

The room was perfect! It is situated at a really good location. The interior of the room is amazing, well kept and spotless, with a view of the Basilica! The room had an AC which was perfect, and you are also supplied with extra sheets! Bathroom was also very clean, and the shower has a lot of water pressure! Although the room is situated at the 5th floor, there is an elevator. And you are welcomed by the friendliest woman who ensures that your stay is wonderful!

The only thing which I would have liked are more comfortable pillows but this was not a big issue for me.

The Room is so neat, super clean, nice and the ambience is soo good.. really feel like HOME! The smell of the soap is WONDERFUL, I can always adjust shower at right temperatur soo easily (you know when you have to adjust for sometimes for perfect temperature for shower) Everything is just perfect!💕 and also Nestle was really friendly and toughtful, she is be more like my long lost sister in Rome rather than a host, thankyou for everything Residenza Scipioni!

Excellent location, 5 min from Ottaviano station. very quiet street and premises. Since Reception Desk works only during mornings and I arrived late in the evening, Nestle sent me thru What’sApp the instructions for self check-in before Inleft home. Everything went smooth. Single room is small but had no problem with that; comfortable enough for 1 person. As in photo. Everything worked fine and was clean. No complaints.

Amazing location in residential area and very short walk to tourist area and Vatican City. View of St. Peter Basilica from our window. Nestle, the host, amazing. Very sweet and helpful, helped us move around the city and told us about some amazing restaurants in the area. Great stay!!!

very comfortable and clean in a beautiful area. I received an upgrade and stayed in a lovely large room with a gorgeous view over the rooftops of Rome . very convenient , lots of nice cafes and restaurants just around the corner and a 25 minute walk to the trevi fountain . thank you Nestle for all recommendations, hosting and kindness . would highly recommend !

This is a great place in a beautiful building, with very nice staff and comfortable beds, good cosmetics, but quite small rooms (no 4), and horible WiFi. It is pretty expensive for thing not to be excellent.

I like the location, it is very near the vatican and the ottaviano train station. It is also very cozy and quiet.
