Catone District Hotel

Really nice hotel not far from Vatican City. Everything exactly as in pictures and descriptions, clean and tidy, child friendly. The hotel staff was very welcoming and professional, helped out with so many things. Location is great and easy access to public transport, area felt safe, good restaurants near by. Really enjoyed our stay there.

The breakfast was “the traditional Italian breakfast box” and Gluten free options were fairly poor. Instead, preferred to have my breakfast in A GOGO Gluten Free cafe, next to Ottaviano metro station.

The bedroom was clean & tidy & cleaned daily as was the bathroom which had a good power shower. The room has everything you'll need with A/C, a safe, tea/coffee and a mini bar with soft drinks. The room had no view but you spend so little time in it, it really doesn't matter. Perfectly located to see everything Rome has to offer and surrounded with so great restaurants and cafes Friendly and very helpful staff, always there to answer questions, book taxi's and advise on directions.

location was amazing, minutes from the Vatican and really easy to get too. lots of towels provided. lovely clean room with air con. very comfortable bed! staff were excellent. mini, mini bar in fridge and 2 bottles of complimentary water with breakfast

no glasses for water in the room. little difficult to find as they had a metal gate entrance, sign wasn’t easily noticeable. no toiletries provided. breakfast was slim, bare minimum provided

The location and staff were fabulous. You can walk to the center of Rome from this place and minutes from the Vatican. A bus ride is within 5 minutes from the center (2km), we walked. Steps to public transportation and there is parking in the area ($ meter). Staff extremely friendly and were very attentive to our needs. The room was very clean and most of all very spacious especially the bathroom. Nice decor, large closet and safe very practical. Bed was super comfortable. Elevator available. We will be back.

Unfortunately the window view was not the nicest view due to the fact the the building is located in an urban dense area. We did address the staff on the issue and they told us that the recently new administration was working on that.

Lovely room, perfect size for 2 people, clean and nice decor. The hotel was easy to find, had breakfast in the morning with coffee to order! Great room for the price with friendly, English speaking staff. The location was great for proximity to the Vatican and St. Peters. The dining options were numerous, great walkability.

SAFE LOCATION VERY CLOSE TO THE VATICAN EASY ACCESS ON FOOT TO ALL SIGHTS MANY RESTAURANTS AND COFFEE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD PLEASANT AND KIND STAFF

THE FIRST NIGHT THE AIR CONDITIONING WAS NOT WORKING AND IT WAS COLD, SOMETHING THAT WAS CORRECTED IN THE FOLLOWING DAYS. THE MATTRESS WAS COMPLETELY UNCOMFORTABLE, IT HAS LOST ITS FORM FROM USE AND IT HAD A PIT IN THE MIDDLE. POOR BREAKFAST IN PAPER BAG WITH STANDARD PRODUCTS

Clean room with everything you could need. Staff were lovely and friendly and were always helpful. Fantastic location...only 5 min walk from metro station where you could reach all major attractions and 5 min walk from St Peters Square and Vatican City.

The service from the entire team was very good and made us feel comfortable . The hotel's location is excellent!

We have the same breakfast for all four days. The bread is not delicious but is good to have different options of juice available.

Big room, great cleaning, super quiet and confortable. Good stay right at the centre of vatican and 10min away from the center of rome.

Breakfast wasn't what we were expecting, the bread was a bit dry and there wasn't much variety to choose from between days.

it was very clean and comfortable. the location was perfect,close to metro and vatican. reception was 24h available and they were very kind. we traveled to rome mid of augost but the air conditioner saved us!!

just internet conection was very weak.
