This hotel was so much better than I expected. It is SO clean, completely spotless (I read some horror story reviews online for some other hotels at this price point in Rome). If you are a tourist there isn't a better place to stay at this price guaranteed. The locationion for sightseeing is amazing and there are great things close by and within walking distance. Multiple close subway stations in the area. Joseph, the concierge, was so helpful. He was in communication with us on WhatsApp and was very helpful with anything we needed. We could have even booked taxis and restaurants with him at a discounted rate. I have stayed in many budget boutique hotels in Europe and this was one of the best and it looks exactly like the photos. Entrance to the hotel is very secure and felt safe leaving our things there.

Nice and clean (small) modern hotel room with nice bathroom with modern facilities. We were looking for a clean and easy hotel as base for our city trip in Rome. Staff is friendly, location is great (15 mins walk to the Vatican, metro on 10 mins walk). Situated in a good area with a nice restaurant next to the hotel and great coffee bar across the street for breakfast.

Our room was located next to the reception which created a noisy experience when guests were checking in. We only had this once during the day, but not in the evening(s). Staff is aware of this.

I stayed at the Hotel Roma Vaticano for 3 nights. the hotel is in a lovely neighborhood, surrounding by very nice restaurants and plenty of stores. the bedroom and bathroom were like brand new and very clean. the bed very comfy, the pillows soft. the shower fantastic! the receptionist, Chara, was wonderful and very knowledgeable.

the only problem was my room located next to the reception! my bedroom’s door was literally 1 meter to the desk! the receptionist was very respectful, very quiet, but of course the clients didn’t know! so don’t expect to take a nap when guests are at the reception, you can instead just open the door and participate to their conversation! and of course if you hear them, you can imagine that they hear you as well if you are on the phone!

Selected the hotel without much thought but worked out well for my needs -- traveling solo. The room was ideal for a single person. It had all the essentials -- clean room and bathroom, temperature control and fast internet. Location is great near one of exclusive shopping areas. 10 minute walk to the St. Peter's Square. Francesca at the reception was absolutely great. She helped me with my internet paraphernalia ... she even gave me her local connecting device as I had forgotten my universal adapter. She gave me tips on where and how to have authentic Italian cuisine. Gladys and Tatiana, too, were helpful.

24,hour reception. However, the entry codes and access keys were given at check in.

The hotel was extremely well situated in the center of Rome, great places to eat around it, room clean, comfortable and perfectly equipped for a few days of visiting the city. However, the stellar point was the staff, especially Francesca, who went out of her way to make us feel right at home. If we come back to Rome, we're staying here again, for sure. Merci, Francesca!

Nothing was bad at all. We thought breakfast was included, but after finding out it wasn't, the staff recommended the Gianfornaio in front of the hotel, which was frankly a great discovery.

The room was very nice, the bathroom was clean and the shower was excellent. The hotel is in a nice neighborhood, very handy for the Vatican and not far from the river and other sites of interest. It's also only 5 minutes walk from Lepanto Metro station.

We had booked a room with 2 singles but the room we were given was a double with a small sofa/armchair bed which wasn't very comfortable. The bathroom did not have a door which was a little bit too intimate! The hotel should make this very clear as it's a little awkward showering and using the bathroom, especially with the placement of the mirror in the room; make sure you're very comfortable with the person you're sharing with!

Hotel is in a great location, so much to do around Prati and nicely placed for walking to major sites, but feels very much away from the tourist traps. Hotel has more of an apartment feel as you’re provided with keys to the building and can go about your business with as much or as little interaction. There were kitchen facilities which we didn’t use but we’re available. Francesca at reception was brilliant, really welcoming and made it more like “staying with friends”, happy to give recommendations if you’d like or need and always good for a chat!

Clean room, very friendly lady at the reception, quiet rooms, very safe accomodation with keys and pin to doors.

Didn't have restock of toilet paper everyday - we had to ask but it wasn't a problem.

The property was just amazing. Our room had big windows which opened out and beautiful church bells could be heard each morning while we were getting ready to explore Rome. The two ladies Francesco & Valerio were amazing , they were so helpful & pleasant. I loved the location of the hotel more nearer the Vatican but so many beautiful restaurants and shops especially the restaurant on the doorstep. Really got to experience the Italian culture staying here. Part of me doesn’t want to share this review as I want to keep it a hidden gem it’s just so fab but I wouldn’t be doing the hotel justice not too!!!!

Good location and friendly staff. The room was clean and ample toiletries were provided (shower gel, shampoo, shower cap, toothbrush)

The shower area was cramped and there was no door between living space and washroom. They did not clean the room everyday. The reception is only available till evening and there was no meal options available. They only has sparkling water for drinking, still water was unavailable.
