What a stunning place, the views, the garden, the superfriendly staff, incredible food, nice pool. All in all it’s an authentic place with attention to nature and sustainability, exactly the kind of place that I like and Europe should get more of. If you are hoping for a 5* Hilton or Marriott experience, just don’t go here. If you like authenticity, friendliness, sustainability, nature, do it. It’s fantastic.

Not much. If I have to name one thing, I think the location lacks a good bar for an aperitivo, where guests meet each other. But this is easy to solve. The restaurant already is fantastic.

An amazing family run property with fantastic history! We loved our relaxing stay, plenty to do around the property with no car but would be great to have a car to do more exploring. A true Tuscan experience complete with a cooking class, wine tasting, olive oil tasting, animal feeding and more! The staff were all lovely and the owner has lots to share about the history of the beautiful property! We wish we could have stayed longer!

Restaurant was a little slow at times, but staff lovely and enjoyed the beautiful view so did not really matter to us at all!

Amazing stay! We rested our minds and bodies, the place was magical. We participated in the historical trip around the property which was very interesting and very much focused on the history of wine produced there. The room we stayed in was very spacious which we loved, we also had a well working fan which helped us survive hot days. The bathroom had a bidet which was amazing. The hotel provided a really good shower gel, which was moisturising for our skin.

Nothing really. What could be improved is the variety of vegetarian dishes or dishes with fish (in our case we don’t eat meat and the choice was a bit small).

Sounds funny however the animal feeding program is the greatest thing I experienced in Tuscany. We've learnt a lot about regenerative farming and without this experience the Tuscan landscape would have remained a distant beauty. It brings closer and gives meaning to this picturesque scenery what is called Tuscany. Thanks to the lovely and warming host, Mania, who respects and understands the surrounding eco-system and shares her thoughts on it. We're really-really grateful for this experience!

Absolutely loved the location and the views. The mansion was impressive, could actually feel a tiny bit of their ancestors life. The yard is large and offers breathtaking views and has nice sheep :). The pool is stunning. Unfortunatly the weather didn't allowed us to use it, but we chilled nearby. The room was very large, clean and with a confortable bed and views to the sunset. The breakfast is basic but enough to get you started for the day.

You need a reservation in advance to be able to eat in their restaurant. It would have been nice to know this in advance because we arrived in the evening, dead hungry and during a massive storm. So we had to go out again, searching for some place to eat...

We felt like in a tuscan dream! the staff is very nice and helpful the best quality breakfast we ever had! their products are amazing and sooo tasty! the pool view and the surroundings are so beautiful and unique!

We booked in advance for dinner called “pizza night”. For 25 euros ahead we had a great salad and antipasti, but the pizza was very bad. the chef seemed unexperienced. the wood oven was too hot, and the edges got burned before the center dought cooked, so it was raw in the middle. the tomato sauce had no salt in it and had no taste. so burned and raw at the same time and blend. worst pizza ever. We had high expectation since the location is so beautiful and delivered high quality service and the restaurant as well.

The staff were very friendly, the rooms were very clean and the property was very charming.

We had dinner there and we didn’t really like the food. Dinner service felt a bit chaotic in the sense that we had a booking but people who walked in and sat down was served and we were ignored, so we just found a seat and waited but again was ignored until we asked to be served. We booked yoga class but was not informed we would not receive yoga mats. The teacher told us usually the location provides the mats so we were just did yoga on the grass.

What's not to like? Amazing villa with a wealth of history, a first class restaurant, winery, and accomodations. One of the high points of our Anniversary stay in Italy! Staff was a delight as well.

Nothing to dislike in the least. In hindsight, we would have liked to know about the room choices before we booked. Our 3rd floor room had smaller windows than some others. Also no WiFi in rooms, only common áreas. Not really a problem since this is a peaceful, beautiful place. WiFi was not desired in the room.

Absolutely stunning area and Borgo. Breathtaking views. The Tuscany everyone dreams about. We participated in fun events like the annual harvest and pasta making. Perfectly rustic but large accommodation. All meals were excellent.

Beds were extremely hard and we had many bees in our bedroom each day even though the staff sprayed. Many dead bees in the room as a result. Otherwise, would be 11 out of 10

The property, grounds, and views are AMAZING. The staff is very friendly, the food was great. Our room was spare, but comfortable. I loved the activities available to the guests (i.e., pizza night, tour and wine tasting, animal feeding).

Though the WiFi worked fine in the common areas, it didn't work at all in our room, possibly because our room was in a tower? This detail would not deter me from future visits. It's a LOVELY place, and I would highly recommend!
