The location was excellent if you have rented a car, being very close to a road where you can park, and the historic centre was starting right outside the rooms, so you couldn't get more far by car even if you wanted to. It was only a 10-minute walk to the central square. The room was modern, very clean and comfortable, exactly as it is shown in the photos. The host was the highlight of the accomodation, being super friendly and helpful and he was giving a menu of breakfast options out of which you could select whatever you wanted and he brought the breakfast to your room at a time you requested! The breakfast was very tasty and home-made.

Almost nothing. Perhaps the WiFi was not the fastest, but I think that's pretty much the story with the whole Tuscany area towns.

Niccolo was a brilliant host. He responded quickly to all messages and went out of his way to ensure our visit in Siena was fabulous. The flat is well located - a 5 minute walk to the centre of Siena. It is modern, spacious, bright and super clean. Loved the breakfast - great menu selection and delivered to our door!

The flat is perfect in so many ways however there are some small touches that could make the space feel a bit more homey/comfortable - e.g. softer or dimmable lighting; bedside lamps for reading; a throw and some cushions on the bed; extra pillows + a list of recommended restaurants for guests would be great!

This room boasts an extraordinary view, a stylish and simple decoration style, and a small loft for working and having breakfast. The host is very willing to solve any issues, the only minor problem being that the hot and cold water switch on the water heater was labeled incorrectly. However, the host quickly resolved my issue even at 11 pm, for which I am very grateful. It was a wonderful experience, and I will definitely come back!

Newly remodeled with modern, industrial design. modern bathrooms, excellent shower and premium bedding. Room had an efficient air conditioner. The owner, Niccolo exceeded our every need and was very hospitable. Breakfast was ordered the night before and delivered to our room the next morning. This was the first hotel we stayed at to offer eggs on the menu. delighted to stay here and would highly recommend again. La Barriera di San Lorenzo was the best value for the experience.

The checkout process was very efficient. However, the checkout time was 10 am which was earlier than expected.

Premises - renovated apartment in good taste - modern, bright, clean, very quiet, big airy, high ceiling room. Top mark Location - 2 mins easy walk into the heart of Siena. Everywhere is convenient to reach. Excellent freshly prepared breakfast served in room. Guests choose what they fancy to fill up their morning bellies based on a breakfast wishlist provided. No unnecessary food wastage. Well done. Finally, Niccolo- the host who can do anything for his guests...one can see he has the utmost passion hosting his guests with full enthusiasm and a very talented good looking guy. Bravo :-) Highly recommended.

I almost did not go to Siena, but I did for only one night. This booking was great. The host was wonderful and helpful. He gave me a map of the city and told me what sites I must visit in the short time I was there, in addition to recommending food and dining. Then he served a wonderful breakfast in the morning at the room. I was traveling Italy for almost 3 weeks, and this was one of my favorite stops. On top of the city, quiet area, and easy walking to most places.

The manager, Niccolo, was very helpful with all our needs. Room was quiet. Breakfast was good. Nice to have a dedicated shower and not the shower in bath you so often find. Good to have power points by the bed

Carrying breakfast tray up & down stairs needed concentration. The duvet supplied was too warm for what was a very warm room & opening windows let in mosquitoes. There was no lift which may be an issue for some.

The property is easy to find with ample parking options close by. Niccolò was very welcoming, available, and professional. The room was immaculately clean. The space was modern with lots of natural light from the large window (with blackout blinds). The shower has excellent water pressure. The A/C is very powerful. I am a very light sleeper, and I had absolutely no trouble here. Would book again without hesitation.

Amazing apartment on two floors, very clean, with AC (important in June :D), and five minutes walk from the old town. Very spacious. The host took exception ally good care of his guests, with hand-delivered breakfast, sightseeing tips and a smooth check-in even at a later hour.

The location is excellent, walking distance from the city center, and Niccolò is a great host! He provided excellent guidance and tips, and the breakfast was really, really nice. Moreover, we were able to park the car nearby for free.

We don't have much to add here, maybe the parking, that although was for free, it was not very easy to find a spot. The bed creaked a little and the sound insulation may be improved.
